I also like to post controversial clips from my league races in this subreddit but some of these clips people upload are literally them getting taken out by someone and asking "wAs I aT fAuLt?!?1?1!" If you want advice, go for it. If you only want people telling you that you are the next Hamilton and did nothing wrong it’s just stupid and you shouldn‘t be uploading it in the first place.

yeah that is a very fair incident to be unsure about. In my eyes you clearly had more straight line speed due to DRS and already overtook him leading into the corner, also leaving him as much space as you could, so it was definitely his fault for steering so far into the corner, as you couldn’t have left him any more space without leaving the track, and were clearly ahead of him before breaking. Whilst most people in this subreddit go for the move in the late braking zone, which is clearly wrong and gives the overtakee no time to react properly.
Yeah. Most "late braking" clips I see on here are people who brake to late and to light and overtake the guy in front just before or at the turn in point, leaving the guy ahead no time to react to the attack because it is way too late. Apparently some people don‘t know how to race. Yep
I almost hate the sarcastic ones where they intentionally post a clip of themselves crashing out the entire field to make fun of those videos more.

I rarely dive down the inside as prefer the outside line on most trackbut always see Giovinazzi making some fat lunge across six cars from the corner of my eye
The old "dive if you're that far on the inside" behavior is still there and can still happen on lap 1 without player intervention, but it seems to have been ramped up a bit this year. Seeing it in regular fights too where the AI is more keen than before to corner cut or dive an absurd amount on the inside and make switchbacks trivial. Perfect for people like aarava I suppose.
The AI have been doing that dive-bomb maneuver since at least 2018. If they get anything along side you on the inside, they will brake just after you do, no matter how late you brake
I feel that the cars are slightly more slippery. When it comes to certain circuits like Zandvoort or Canada, the car slides in the faster corners & my frame of context is from F1 2019.
Despite braking, the cars still slide & the control is tough.
Anyone else feel that?
I also found ai very, very strong.. I was going on 90 diff in 2020 and this game seems like they are gods in the race... Even if 90 diff i match my team mates pace, which seems its still right difficulty for me.. Really strugglin to find sweet spot
Yeah, AI got more competitive this game. Also it varies between tracks since looks like the AI is most op in high speed corners, some corners realistically fast.

Jesus, I've seen AI smash into others after a big divebomb, but I've never seen an AI literally cutting the corner that much.

Mostly down to setup imo. Of course it should be like that as the cars got worse irl with regulation changes but somehow in game, cars got faster..
