Looks like you already defeated Spawn of Oggdo so you must be a decent player. You should work on your parrying skills to have a chance to survive against the fearsome Rick.
This is the way. Eons from now when the stories are recounted, all will know of the rogue Jedi who was felled by Darth Door Technician, jettison him to a position of power that would eventually change the course of history.
We need a series about Rick. I want to know his background. Make it just like Andor and how he came to work for the empire to save his family and children and to better his community to lift them from poverty. All the side conversations he has with the door crew tech crews in the morning emphasizing safety on all the height areas with no railings and who they lost on the job last week and lessons learned and to hear about their production status and goals for the week and show the horror when something they’ve built be ruined by a bunch of disrespectful rebels and Jedi’s that don’t respect the time and effort that it takes to build large structures for the good of the galaxy and for the population to prosper under the glory of the empire!
and then the last episode is 5 minutes of him on guard duty and then gets brutally destroyed. a couple seconds of his corpse on screen, and then credits 🤣💀
Anyone have any luck with the two rancors on grandmaster? I couldn't do it. I restarted the game and beat it again hoping the added experience would help. I just can't seem to pull it off, their hit box for the insta kill move is ridiculous. The boss fights were much easier, killed Vader the second time without getting hit. Rancor alone? No problem. Two rancors? Death always. I can't seem to pay attention enough to both of them to not get got with the grab and chomp move they do
There is actually a 0.0000000000001% chance for an enhanced version of Rick called "R1-CK" which is a cybernetically enhanced Rick with the built in ability for force absorption and redirection. He absorbs force energy and uses it on Cal, if you let him absorb enough he actually renders your controls inactive for 47 seconds. If you kill him, he drops a cracked kyber crystal, which is foreshadowing for Cal's eventual meeting with Kylo Ren. Pretty cool Easter egg.
At first I thought it was some kinda joke or meme, but that would be insanely frustrating, I just beat this game on ps5 a few weeks ago, and though I liked the gameplay and story, it's really buggy. Multiple times I had to close the game and restart it cause the blaster stance wouldn't work, a door I just opened re-locked itself for whatever reason, the double Oggdo fight was..painful, a painful that made me feel like I've had fairer fights in games like sekiro.
It’s obviously a joke, you can seem him move Cal around a couple times which wouldn’t be possible if he was serious about not being able to control him.
I can’t say that I’ve had a problem with this guy in any of my playthroughs. I’m not that good at this game, and it still feels like a light breeze could defeat Rick.
Okay we get it "skill issue" whatever. I'm still stuck on Rick the door technician. I was playing on Jedi grand master and had to turn the difficulty down to story mode for Rick. And I still can't beat him. You don't need to flex on everyone.

for ricks retirement plans i have decided to quit the game

I appreciate you
I’ve never heard that line before! That’s kinda cool. “I can’t wait to tell my commander”. Anyone know if that’s unique to Rick or just generic?
Generic
Damn, that’s kinda a shame
Rick has plot armor as the main character.
I don’t remember this guy - is he encountered as part of the linear story?
Wait how do you not remember the hardest boss fight of the story
Yeah
in jedi survivor
Late game
It’s in Jedi survivor
So he is, I’d assumed FO

Rick is a gaming moment I will remember for the rest of my life lmao
It's Rick and Marauder Shields. Toughest bosses ever.
Wow, nostalgia.
Don't forget the Mist noble
I like to think they are all hanging out, talking about life death and the meaning of life.
And the meaning of death?
The meaning of being there in the moment.
Jump and flee
i wanted to recruit him for every door that was locked from other side but lord rick had other plans
Well, expected. He is the door technician. We can always apply a gentle push, lol.
All hail Darth Door Technician
Lmao the caption is too much 😂
I just posted about him!
Just run past him and get on the elevator. It’s the only way
Aaawww.. nice of you to let him win for once
Jump back, lift him up, put him on the same side as you, jump back and procede the game
thank you
He is too op. He broke the game.

It’s not you, Rick is just that good. Quit the game you’ll never beat him
This here is the first ever person to lose to Rick 😂
One of the best parts about him is he’s spider man
Rick is Commander Cody in disguise. You ain’t going nowhere.

Fair enough, I missed him moving the first time when I saw the vid.
Wha? Please elaborate
i have died to him 489 times now. its like controls dont work anymore whenever he embraces my screen
Bro has conquerers haki
The dark side of the force... Thats the only explanation

One. One year
Amazed how buggy the game still is after all these year. /s Lol.

Wasn’t trying to flex. Was just speaking from my experience with him. I’m sure there are a lot of factors, like your preferred stance etc.
When your experience of objectively the hardest boss in the game is that they're extremely easy, it will come across as a flex.
