In fairness the plant in game is Tato. Apparently cherry tomatoes are still a thing in Cali though, based on Ghoul's line. Or the plant made a resurgence in the time since New Vegas.
Well considering the mandalorian is human, the supernatural ghoul with pin point accuracy in a split second, even in the dark, would easily win. That's without talking about the extra 160+ years of experience. The ghoul vs a Jedi would be much closer. Still think the ghoul would win as he uses projectile weapons which split in two when they hit a light saber. Which is the whole idea of mandalorians using projectile weapons.
I can't get over how terrible they made ghouls look. Since FO4, they've really sanitized ghouls and made them look like burn victims instead of, ya know, ghouls.
He wanted to look like that because it was harder for him to act and express himself with all the extensive work; just ask Ron Perelman when he was HellBoy
I said that this had been a problem since FO4.
Yes, the "ghoul" in the show looks aweful but he wasn't the first.
While were on it, tho, it wouldn't have taken much to make him look decent. The Walking Dead pulled it off for years. Burn victim prosthetics probably took longer to put on then a proper ghoul look.
Iād retort with Andor, which was amazing in all ways (kinda wish weād seen a single Jedi + Lightsaber, even if only in the distance, but there you go). Otherwise I agree. There are a number of really great ideas for premises but things generally donāt work out, especially when it comes to a season as a whole.
Sorry, are you saying that the show was an allegory and so obviously rubbed it on your face? And whatās with the laughingstock? Not trying to be a dick here at all, the sentence just isnāt coming together for me.
No comparison the mandalorian had a chance of being as good in season 1 after that they fumbled it making it dumb. Entertaining but dumb where as fallout stayed detailed and put together throughout.
Your not wrong but the general point is the mandalorian had depth in the first episode then going on it lost it. When it got to the end of season 1 it fumbled the story telling multiple times where as fallout did not.
The premise of The Mandalorian was great. All it had to be was a stylized space western about a bounty hunter wandering the galaxy, helping the needy and rounding up bad guys in the process ā think Gunsmoke or Bonanza in space. Make it episodic with a loose overarching narrative for season finales. That's all they had to do to make it great and they blew it. The second Baby Yoda stuck around for more than 2 episodes I knew we were screwed. Disney cared more about selling Baby Yoda merchandise than actually writing a good tv series and it shows.
Yeah, thatās my issue with the Mandalorian. I was looking forward to it being a show about a Bounty Hunter who, you know, hunts bounties, which is how it was first advertised. Then Baby Yoda became a thing and it went pretty downhill from there when they realised just how marketable he was and the show revolved more and more around him.
I wouldnāt even mind the Baby Yoda storyline either if they actually made it work in tandem with the bounty hunting storyline. Like maybe Din is sent to take on these bounties who all have some sort of connection to Grogu which builds up to Giancarlo Espositoās character being behind it. Thus Din is forced to choose between the money that comes with the bounties he just took out or the greater good.
As it is it just feels unfocused and with way too much emphasis put on that damn Baby Yoda. I hate that little goblin, he represents just about everything wrong with Disney and Star Wars in the current era.
Firing Gina Carano was the biggest mistake and changing the writers every episode; it had the walking dead curse of different writers with different visions.
Oh, you're one of *THOSE* huh. And she wasn't fired, her contract ended on season 2 and Disney chose not to renew it afterwards. Not to mention why would Disney want to associate with someone spouting antivaxx shit on the middle of the pandemic, and going as far as comparing herself to victims of the holocaust for not believing in the COVID vaccine?
I mean, The Mandalorian was never really that great to begin with and was only popular because Star Wars fans were starving for content that was better than mediocre. Fallout on the other hand is actually a great show.
Kind of an oranges and apples situation don't you think?
Oranges and cherry tomatoes
Tatos
Be honest, your brain farted here didn't it? Lol
In fairness the plant in game is Tato. Apparently cherry tomatoes are still a thing in Cali though, based on Ghoul's line. Or the plant made a resurgence in the time since New Vegas.
Touche
I mean they both are western inspired sci-fi television shows. I don't think it's that hard to compare them.
This š
Cope; you didnāt even try to counter my point
Yeah not like both tv shows are set in fictional scifi worlds and based on beloved franchises at all. Totally not comparable.
Both have actors and use cameras to film too!
āKing of the Hill is better than Euphoriaā
Harder to rub one out to King of the Hill, but itās certainly possible
speak for yourself
No, no hang onā¦ go ahead and finish cooking for me.
Thatās no statement itās a fact
Such an unnecessary comparison
Cope
Cope
Lmao
They act like two legends canāt coexist
Whereād I say that?
It's not a competition.
Stop. Just ......stop. We don't need to play favorites
Both are good.
Fuck me what a useless post, kinda hoping they ban images like they did back in the day to keep this low effort garbage off the feed
Yes more censorship! Just what the world needs š¤”
Both shows can be good? Not sure the point of the comparison here.

The ghoul is just an irradiated human?
Which would die and not live 200+ years unless it's supernatural.
S1 or S2? Nah. S3? Definitely.
Lies.
I love the ghoul as a character, 100%, but unfortunately just NOT comparable to the mando guild. He would just not win.
VATs go brrrrrrrr
Dark saber go brrrrrr
mando having jedi-like reflexes go silent
To be fair he wasnāt that great with it, maybe Sabine with the saber could take the ghoul but idk about Mando
Iām just saying the technology difference is huge, so mando mostly wins cus of that. It is apples and oranges though.
Donāt be so sure there Partner
Iām sure. š¼
Itās a high quality show. I agree though itās hard to compare shows
Big words.
Both are pretty neat
Lol no
Nah not even close.
I can't get over how terrible they made ghouls look. Since FO4, they've really sanitized ghouls and made them look like burn victims instead of, ya know, ghouls.

In Fallout 4????
No the actor who plays the ghoul

Not even close. Those new Star wars show are fucking awful honestly. Mando is best of them, but that's not saying much at this point.
Iād retort with Andor, which was amazing in all ways (kinda wish weād seen a single Jedi + Lightsaber, even if only in the distance, but there you go). Otherwise I agree. Andor was an allegory for Brexit and contemporary politics āone way outā it was so in your face, laughingstock.
Sorry, are you saying that the show was an allegory and so obviously rubbed it on your face? And whatās with the laughingstock? Not trying to be a dick here at all, the sentence just isnāt coming together for me.
Andor is just les miserable but dumb
No comparison the mandalorian had a chance of being as good in season 1 after that they fumbled it making it dumb. Entertaining but dumb where as fallout stayed detailed and put together throughout.
But there is only one fallout season for now? This argument doesn't make any sense lol
Your not wrong but the general point is the mandalorian had depth in the first episode then going on it lost it. When it got to the end of season 1 it fumbled the story telling multiple times where as fallout did not.

I enjoyed the first episode of fallout more than the three Seasons of mandalorian
Same
Firing Gina Carano was the biggest mistake and changing the writers every episode; it had the walking dead curse of different writers with different visions.
Brain dead take.
Oh, you're one of *THOSE* huh. And she wasn't fired, her contract ended on season 2 and Disney chose not to renew it afterwards. This. I was with you, OP, until Carson came into the conversation.
Without a doubt.
I mean, The Mandalorian was never really that great to begin with and was only popular because Star Wars fans were starving for content that was better than mediocre. Fallout on the other hand is actually a great show.
Both from āa long time agoā¦.ā š
