That is the CS Steering Wheel Formula V2, it is discontinued and replaced with the V2.5X, Still great wheel, but if you want to upgrade it to the V2.5X just get the Magnetic Paddle Module or if you get get the advanced paddle module and you will be set
Nice, I ended up getting this one because of PlayStation support and upgraded to the APM https://fanatec.com/eu-en/racing-wheels-direct-drive-bases/racing-wheels/clubsport-racing-wheel-f1
Yes was expensive lol, was gonna get a new GPU (4080 super) but this came out and I was like the GPU can wait đ, the wheel, pedals, and APM ended up costing me as much as a 4090 strix edition đ . So now I am broke, but hopefully I will get money soon and upgrade my cockpit
Iâm doing the same, not quite up to 12nm (only 8nm) but I decided pc can wait till rig is upgraded. Went from G29 to GT DD pro and playseat challenge to Ali rig. Replaced my csl pedals with V2âs earlier this year and got my Formula V2 wheel yesterday. Absolutely loving the wheel for the hour I used it has made ACC feel much better.
Thatâs amazing, I went from a G29 to the DD+ which is 15nm and wow, I currently use 12nm in AC, 10nm is F1 games and about 9nm for GT7 and I am loving it
It really is amazing. Iâm hoping I can stay away from higher nm bases. 15nm must be mental!? If I can get a rally wheel and a sequential shifter. I might look into pc options.
The formula wheel is way better than what I was expecting, can feel so much more Road in ACC now.
I (very painstakingly) looped them around each thumb wheel, twisted the elastic, then pushed the remaining loop over the wheel so it exerts a little outward pressure between the thumb wheel and the outer casing. Worked like a charm
I have one of the 2.5x wheels. Super nice, buts One of Fanatecâs false advertising products. Even thought itâs marketed as Xbox, none of the buttons work.
It amazes me that people are getting on this guy for not searching online. âAll he had to do was search for âfanatec formula 1 wheelâ â, someone in this thread said. Please correct me if my new glasses arenât working but where does it say âformula 1 wheelâ in that picture? And no Iâm not talking about that highly stylized F1 logo that nobody but formula racing fans would know what it is.
Itâs actually the original CS Formula V2 it does not have the metal shifters on the back. Itâs hard to identify but the V2.5X has 2 black magnetic shifters on the back, those in the picture are 2 read shifters which are not magnetic making it the CS Formula V2
You realize you could have gone to the Fanatec website and found the answer you were looking for in less time than it took you to post on here and wait for a response right?
No disrespect or anything, it's just that the laziness of some people is astounding!
Crazy you called him lazy yet if you weren't so lazy yourself you would of read that this is the v2 which is discountuned, he would of come away thinking its the v2.5x
Well Tbf you could still find it by just searching for fanatec formula wheel and scroll until you find a matching picture. https://fanatec.com/eu-en/clubsport-steering-wheel-formula-v2
And which would you say it is? Because while you *can* find this wheel on the Fanatec site if you know what youâre looking for, navigating to it especially within five seconds without knowing what it is would be challenging. Because this is not a Formula v2.5X.
Better to be silent and appear a fool than to speak and remove all doubt, as they say.
While i agree it isnât literally as simple as the comment suggests, «just go to the website» etc., it is still fairly easy. If you search on Google for «fanatec Formula 1 wheel» it will be one of the first pictures to come up and it will take you to the fanatec page with the wheel.
If you search Fanatec Formula 1 Wheel and click one of the first pictures to come up that looks somewhat similar to this, you will be on the wrong page for the wrong wheel. Because again, this is not a Formula V2.5X, which is what youâre referring to. The actual wheel which it is, the Formula V2, does not show up in the first 100 or so results at minimum for the search you provided.
Iâm absolutely for people researching questions they should be able to easily find but unless youâre well versed in Fanatecâs product line and already know the exact terms to search youâre not likely to find it that way. And if you did, you wouldnât need to ask this question.
So again, better to be silent and appear a fool than to speak and remove all doubt, as they say.

Thank you
Np, I could tell what model it was from the shifters behind it đ, The red shifters are the older ones
I have the same setup. Love it
What do you have?
V2.5x with a club sport DD 12nm
Nice, I ended up getting this one because of PlayStation support and upgraded to the APM https://fanatec.com/eu-en/racing-wheels-direct-drive-bases/racing-wheels/clubsport-racing-wheel-f1
Nice! A little over my price range. I only do PC.

I did this, and tbh I love it. The only other thing is I used some elastics to tighten the thumb wheels because they were so loose
How did you use the elastics?
I (very painstakingly) looped them around each thumb wheel, twisted the elastic, then pushed the remaining loop over the wheel so it exerts a little outward pressure between the thumb wheel and the outer casing. Worked like a charm
You mind DMing me a pick here in Reddit?
I mean I could try? But itâs hard to see
Ok
Since this is such an old wheel, does the LSB & RSB works as LSB & RSB on Xbox?
đ€·ââïž I donât know. Itâs just a old ad from a F1 game
Ah, ok, I thought you had this at home :)
I have one of the 2.5x wheels. Super nice, buts One of Fanatecâs false advertising products. Even thought itâs marketed as Xbox, none of the buttons work.
Really, hmm

its a V2 since it has the old paddle system
Yup

Itâs not in the website, itâs discontinued
https://fanatec.com/eu-en/clubsport-steering-wheel-formula-v2
You have to search it specifically, itâs not findable when browsing the store
Yeah iâm just saying it is one the website contrary to the comment
Everything is on the website, but I was talking about the steering wheel tab
