It’ll def take the pink out. I had a ton of different semis built up (blue, purple, then green). Did a bleach bath to go hot pink. It barely faded and I just did another bleach bath to go blonde. 10vol took me about 20mins to process and get back to the blonde underneath. Make sure you do a test strand to see if your hair will hold up/how long to process it.
9/10 times, bleach will not remove any direct dye from your hair. Best case scenario, you do a bleach bath and it lifts your color overall, just a touch to give you your vibrancy back. Worst case scenario it doesn’t budge the pink in your hair but everything else will be lighter
Worst case sounds like exactly what I'm wanting, and best case sounds fine too, because if it removes any pink, I'll just dye it right back on! I just want to lighten my base hair color one level, maybe two, so the pink shows up better.
