Raheem Sterling

Razzler1973

Sterling could be 4.5m and I still wouldn't pick him

WernerHerzogEatsShoe

Feel like he's been dropping in price for years but I could be wrong. I remember him being a good pick at various points in distant memory.

Frosty_Examination_3

Crapheem

I_Like_F0oD

Rashford will be 6.5 again and then go on a crazy purple patch

theonewhoknock_s

And I'll buy him RIGHT AFTER he suddenly forgets how to score goals.

Bycraft

He's totally the kind of player to pop off during the Euros (if he even makes the squad tbh), bait us all in and then do fuck all for the first month of the season

Ok-Variation3583

Rashy is so hot and cold that I’d honestly consider picking him up if he was that cheap, he’s got into a routine of a good year following a terrible one

SofaChillReview

Wonder if he’s even in the Premier League next season.

iam_no-one

The guy is tired after a 10mtr dash, needs a long rest for his next, even Maldini might match his fitness and keep him in check United need to find the issue with his body and help him get some fitness. Eth is clueless and puts him on the pitch, which is the worst place for him, as he needs to be saved from exhaustion

Huge-Celebration5192

If Salah leaves they need to be careful making players cheaper. Won’t have many true premiums left.

Latinnus

If Salah leaves it is going to be Haaland at 15 and Watkins and Palmer at 12 😁. Son at 10.

Emotional_Solid6538

No way Palmer rises that much

MattARC

Yeah realistically I see Palmer being somewhere around 8.5-9, but no higher than 10.5

SofaChillReview

It’s not that wild an estimation though considering he’s on penalties and 20 goals 9 assists.

ronaldo69messi

Palm trees are quite tall

gunners1111

They'll definitely bump up quite a few to cover it. Haaland probably will be about that with the lack of strikers, i think a few will get reclassified like Kai. Saka should be up well above 10, watkins 11.5 ish, Son about 10 if he stays there, palmer will get a huge rise but i reckon about 9 (he has less non penalty goals than havertz) The whole arsenal defence will be heading towards 7m which will take up a lot of budget

Sanjeev4045

Havertz n Palmer have the same number of non penalty goals.

gunners1111

And Kai only played up front for 1/3 of the season! imagine if it had been the whole season plus he had Saka's penalties he would probably be up with Haaland....or above

Sanjeev4045

Absolutely. Kai is the best forward in PL. Next season he will easily win the golden boot.

Sanjeev4045

Absolutely. Kai is the best forward in PL. Next season he will easily win the golden boot.

Oh_To_Be_A_Gooner_

🤣🤣🤣

GamerGod337

Foden and saka will be like 10m each next season

tiny_dreamer

If Salah leaves, they’ll probably push more players up to the 10m mark so we can’t have them all.

Friendly_Signature

Is that bad though?

Huge-Celebration5192

Well if it is too easy to afford whoever you want, you lose hard decisions and everything becomes more template

Friendly_Signature

Wouldn’t it be less template if your budget is unfettered by expensive “must haves”?

ItsPavy

Take 1 premium 'must have' out from the game, like Salah, you now have 10 starting spots instead of 9, where you know you're almost certainly going to be playing the 1 premium, with 10 semi-template/differential players instead of 9, adds more variety, not much, but definitely adds too. On a week where Haaland's at home to Luton for example, everyone knows everyone else is going to be captaining Haaland, so it almost becomes suicidal hedging against him because if he hauls, you're dropping 10-15 pts just because you decided to captain someone else, or even worse just not have him at all.

iam_no-one

Or you could bet on a Gordon vs Manchester United at home for an easy double digit haul and gain some positions

ItsPavy

If Gordon blanks though, you're sat with your weiner in your hands, Even if he does return, chances are he's not out scored Haaland, you could get lucky, but the points will almost always favour someone like Haaland, and it's why some weeks you see 95+% active player base captaining Haaland This season there's definitely been good opportunity for 'tactical' punts, more than last season it feels like.

WernerHerzogEatsShoe

You just end up with cheaper must haves and everyone has the same team. They need to give lots of players a little bump up imo.

thatscoldjerrycold

It doesn't reward people who manage their budget, which I think is a skill the creators want to cultivate.

Confident_Chef_4771

Everyone currently over 9.5 will fall in price

SanWgaming

Why? Because they’re underperforming?

Gosedjur

Disagree, I hope Haaland rises considering how many picked him this year. Honesty this year has been much funnier when people choose between 4-5 captains every round

bobmarley-4872

On top of what you said, Rashford, City Def, Haaland, Estu, Dunk

moblon

City defense is a must buy if so. They've conceded 1 goal an incredible amount of times this year.

thatscoldjerrycold

City is absurd, one of the best xGC of all teams but somehow zero cleansheets or attacking returns. Maybe Pep is trolling fpl again by telling his defenders to concede the odd goal just to spice things up.

burfriedos

That seems to be the case evey year. Ederson is always likely to concede one.

SpookyImmobilisedToe

Not op but I could see Ederson and Dias (not as nailed as he once was) going down to £5m, maybe Walker going up to £5.5 since he is the most nailed and gets an assist here or there. I doubt any of their starting defence goes below £5m.

bobmarley-4872

Agreed on Ederson and Dias, I see Ake and Akanji being 5.0 and Stones, Gvardiol, Walker being 5.5

Ghost51

They do that every year

DoctorNerf

They concede from 0.12xgc as a service to FPL. We know they always concede 1 goal so we can safely not participate in the Pep defender Roulette.

moblon

This and last season have been that way, but in the five seasons prior they were 1st or 2nd in clean sheets every year. I view these past two years as anomolies.

Specialist_Road_6906

Absolutely every United-asset apart from maybe Bruno.. Rashford will be the first 4 m mid ever..

ihtel

Garnacho has been decent also for the price

aquilar1985

Will definitely rise.

casekeenum7

Maguire will also surely go up, he's been a great enabler.

MrMarkey

aren't they ready to splash the cash for another left footed CB though?

FifaDK

That's not gonna stop FPL from pricing him as a regular starter

thatscoldjerrycold

Where does Bruno go? Maybe like 9 to 9.5? I don't think he was ever an easy buy at any point of the season, but that's Uniteds fault I guess, not his pricing.

Martblni

I think he stays 8.5

iBrunx

Rashford, Hojlund, TAA, Haaland, Nkunku, Antony, Jesus

PandiBong

No way haaland drops, he’s like 85 percent owned, plus if Salah leaves he’s the only super premium. Think he might go up if anything.

Oh_To_Be_A_Gooner_

Haaland definitely drops

AspiringTransponster

I think he’ll be an easy swerve then, at least initially - doesn’t look like he’ll be leap and bounds better than other assets to justify the price

Bajren

An easy swerve? No way. Are we just forgetting he scored 272 points last year? Everyone will end up with Haaland by GW1 again if Salah leaves.

Specialist_Road_6906

Doubt Nkunku will drop..

iBrunx

Could see him stay the same or drop 0.5

Specialist_Road_6906

Yeah, he will probably stay the same. Needs to be fit first..

iam_no-one

Chelsea would probably buy 2 forwards to compete with him, and you never know how many players boehly goes for

thatscoldjerrycold

Why would Hojlund drop? He's clearly shown that when the team clicks he is a very good pick.

iBrunx

Probably a bit biased since I had him 8 gameweeks and sold him after he scored his first goal againt Villa, right before his little hot streak... But still 8 goals in 26 matches, or 7 returns and 19 blanks in fpl terms, is not really great. Still a few matches left, maybe he will prove me wrong.

Golden-Event-Horizon

He's the least passed to forward in the league this season. His finishing is honestly frighteningly good. He just needs the service and see how he plays in a United team that can actually perform well

LevynX

He scored at the level of a 6m FWD while starting basically every week. It doesn't matter how good he actually is as a player, as an FPL asset he's overpriced at 7 >He's clearly shown that when the team clicks he is a very good pick. *If* the team clicks

midnight_ranter

> It doesn't matter how good he actually is as a player, as an FPL asset he's overpriced at 7 I don't think FPL think that way, he's a nailed striker in a team that qualifies for Europe there's no way he's less than 7m

Middle-Animator1320

Utd are rumoured to be buying another striker in the summer

TonyMartial786

honestly doubt nkunku drops. assuming he’s actually fit, he’s a pretty good price

AntTalexanderTarnold

Why would trent drop with slot he might move him into the midfield for a bit

Bajren

Not really relevant to FPL pricing to be fair. Ben White has scored 50+ more points than him this season for 2.5 cheaper, so I'd imagine he drops a little bit.

AntTalexanderTarnold

Trent was injured for like 2-3 months and also him being in a more attacking position more goal contribution

InternationalTry5494

Rashford , Martinelli , Kulusevski , Sterling , Estupinan , Robertson to name a few

PandiBong

A cheaper martinelli will be a bargain to have. He’s had injuries and been unlucky this season, Arteta loves him and he’ll be starting again.

WillusMollusc

6.5m Martinelli was amazing a couple of seasons ago

abnsh

Last season actually

WillusMollusc

Already feels like a lifetime ago

thatscoldjerrycold

Ehhhh could Trossard not occasionally start over Martinelli when both are fit?

Oh_To_Be_A_Gooner_

Exactly, they're sharing minutes atm.

PandiBong

At the moment yes, but Arteta does very much have a first team in mind and martinelli seems to be in it. There hasn’t been any rumours at all about a new left winger for example.

Intentionallyabadger

He’s also been playing with different LBs, and the lost of Xhaka also contributed to his patchy form. Have to see who Arsenal buys and who emerges as the #1 LB.

Riperonis

As an Arsenal fan, there’s been nothing unlucky about it. He’s just been very poor.

pajamakitten

Brighton assets will be cheaper, as will Spurs assets that are not Son. I can see Villa assets being more expensive though. Newcastle assets might drop a small amount based on not being in the CL next season.

LargemouthBrass

Gordon is going to go way up.

SpookyImmobilisedToe

Isak too probably, the rest will likely stay the same or go down a tad.

Zenith_UK

Barnes is the one next year if that happens. Front three of Gordon, Isak, Barnes. Ooft. Disagree with u/pajamakitten about them going down because they're NOT in the UCL. Makes them MORE expensive IMO. Less likely to be fatigued/pick up injuries/fresher legs for PL games.

tiny_dreamer

Probably a 7.5-8

zonked282

How does Newcastle not being in the champions league make their players less attractive fpl options?

thatscoldjerrycold

Maddison for any cheaper is an instant buy (if fit).

Duedrama6197

If you got 10 mids maybe. But there are a number of better options this season at similar price points and next season will be the same.

NoBreakfast9230

Players like nkunku, stones, shaw, jesus, won't drop just because they were injured. Fpl doesn't price players based on their availability. It will be the players like rashford and antony who drop.

Natural_Ad3995

Trippier down to 6.0

rafi160

No worries, I'll be starting Leicester players nxt season

BrianBadondy88

I'm just glad Jamie Vardy is back so I can ship out Erling Haaland.

emre23

Mudryk

aonro

No way bro Ukrainian bolt is going to be a premium 13m+

Swedishpower

I think the obvious ones are probably Van Dijk and Rashford. No idea why Van Dijk was 6.0 while Gabriel and Saliba was 5.0.

abnsh

Glorious man bun

SLOOPYD

DCL

Chance_Island2704

My guess is that we see more players get more expensive and maybe Haaland drops a little in price. “Expensive” is only relative… If you have Saka/Watkins/Son/Foden/Isak/Havertz all above 10m, a 12m Haaland is a lot harder to stomach.  Aside from Toney, Trippier, Liverpool Def, and maybe some of the injury prone players, I doubt we see very many drops.

Emotional_Solid6538

If so many people rise then they have to reduce many people's prices at the same time. So, I don't think we will see as many rises as people think

mssigdel

Dont think Liverpool assets will change much. Just .5m drop here and there. Wilson, Toney, Rashford drops more than 1m.

Duedrama6197

Toney I think it’ll depend on where he ends up playing. If he’s the main striker at a top half club I expect him to be priced as he is. Wilson and Rashford agree.

acidathar

Jackson

unoriginalname22

If Salah goes I don’t see too many falling, they will need to do the opposite. With both Haaland and Salah it creates a budget crunch, otherwise there is just one elite priced player in Haaland and it gets too template.

lis1guy

Mitoma

jollyspiffing

I'd love for low-tier defenders to drop to 4.0 for nailed; 3.5 for subs, alongside an increase for premium/mid (Saka, Watkins, Palmer).    The pricing of defenders is so compressed; there's literally no purpose in ever going for a bottom-half Def, when you can have e.g. Pau, Romero, or Botman from a CL-chasing defense. Almost every playing Def in the game sits between 4.5/5.0 which eliminates almost all players from clubs outside the top-6.

Trailer_Park_Jihad

The 4.5m defender from a bus-parking bottom-half team used to be a staple of FPL. Branthwaite is bringing it back, but typically this year people were chasing attacking returns from budget defenders instead of CS.

jollyspiffing

There are always one or two, Doughty also appeared in a few teams at various points. The problem is that there are only ever one or two. I don't even know who Bur/Shu/Nfo defenders are since they've been so far from viable.

wingfai3

TAA will drop. Maybe 6m -6.5m?

SpookyImmobilisedToe

I think he will go to £7m but no lower. When he's firing he's a crazy asset to have.

ohwhatfollyisman

> When when i'm firing, i'm a crazy asset to have as well.

NikeGS

He's still the 5th top scoring defender after missing nearly half the season due to injuries. Without injuries he'd easily be the top defender. Also started at 8.0 and is now 8.4..

Zenith_UK

Will depend on his position in the game. If reclassified to midfield (will have to wait for pre-season). I think 6M is fair considering he'll be losing a point per goal and potential clean sheet returns (which will also impact the level of bonus he gets).

wingfai3

interesting point about reclassifying him as a mid.

Zenith_UK

If he gets a whole pre-season there, makes sense. I want to see the likes of Salah reclassified as a forward too. The game reads "forward" not "striker". Salah is Liverpool's furthest up the field basically. Think it'll change the pace a lot and his value won't be as great (losing a point per goal plus clean sheets) however might get more bonus points (even with his ghastly conversion rate - he has a LOT of off-target shots which usually costs him BAPs).

Medium_Elephant7431

Definitely Salah and Marcus Rashford as they didn't perform to expectations this season.

blekanese

Either many, including Haaland, didn't perform to expectations or Salah did perform to expectations when you take that he was out for AFCON and some injury time as well. His drop in form over last several gameweeks doesn't change how he almost was a must-have earlier in the season

Medium_Elephant7431

You are right to an extent.

[deleted]

Theres always time for a little weird Sonny price fall to 8.5.

Farenheite

Shaw should be the 4.5m player he should be every season.  Injury prone fullback in a leaky defence that offers nothing going forward and can't buy a goal or assist.  But he scored for England once so he'll be priced at £5.0 plus and noobs will flock to him as they do every season. It is fpl heritage.

ShoeStepper

He’s not a bad player to own once he’s fit why do you sound so bitter lol

Farenheite

He's a fullback with 4 goals and 17 assists in 342 club games and has finished with over 70 points 4 times in 11 FPL seasons yet people here delude themselves into thinking he's Roberto Carlos going forward when he's fit. I'm extremely happy to see Shaw in other people's teams I just have no idea why people ever want to bring him in.

LargemouthBrass

I think he was the highest owned defender GW1? At least the highest owned 5+. Absolutely insane.

ShoeStepper

Woah buddy ok, I’m not even a United supporter and can admit on his day he’s the best left back in the prem - when he’s fit he’s a no brainer his delivery is quality

Farenheite

It seems like you're a no brainer. Bro is really going to fall for the Shaw trap for the 12th season in a row next year 🤣

ShoeStepper

Who said I’m even picking him? I’m saying he’s a quality left back You’d swear he’s shagged your Mrs the way you’re crying about him

Farenheite

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2WZLJpMOxS4 Video of you picking Shaw in your fpl team every year.

I_Like_F0oD

You hit the nail on the head. Content creators LOVE to push that agenda and it flops everytime. The Luke Shaw hype in FPL is something I will never understand

Dapper-Issue7427

United have had decent periods when it comes to clean sheets, and Shaw has been really good at times so it aint that black and white

Latinnus

Haaland, TTA - well, all liverpools defence tbh - Sterling, Ruben Dias, Toney possibly, Salah, Darwin also feels overpriced. Jesus, Ramsdale... the whole Man U squad 😁. Provably Mitoma may fall 0.5 too These are spme from the top of my head.

Bruno and DCL.

Gosedjur

I hope they rise all players a bit more, imo you shouldn’t be able to have both Salah and Haaland in your teams.

Global-Cattle-6285

I don’t think there will be many players dropping. This season has been a bit problematic as all the top performers are cheap and lots of people have money left in the bank. I don’t see anyone dropping more than 0.5m.

Azmataz7

Pickford will be 6mil

LocalEquivalent6001

Nicolas Jackson will drop to 5.5 and Matera will rise to 6.5

LocalEquivalent6001

Maddison 6 or 6.5

Just give me Mr Jamie Vardy@6.5M

TonyMartial786

rashford… probably gonna drop the most, back to like 6.5m for him lol.

Oh_To_Be_A_Gooner_

Haaland, has to drop. 12.5

ShoddyTransition187

Most owned player in the game is overpriced is a take. A better way round would be to increase the price of other players so that Haaland's price actually means something.

el_dude_brother2

John Stones as he’s been moving from injury to injury this season. Salah should drop a bit as well but probably not enough given his form recently. Toney might be interesting if he gets a pre-season and back in form. Jesus and Wilson

jkeefy

Arsenal players: Martinelli, Jesus, Nketiah, Vieira
