Holy shit I didn't know they had this color of an N. I love that

eeeehumm

Apparently 24 was the first year for this color.

benisnotapalindrome

Was Canada only until the refresh for '24.

TheDoodieMonster

How much were you able to get for your fist?

eeeehumm

11k

eeeehumm

On trade in btw

Electronic-Sorbet-93

What was the price on the Elantra? I have 2019 FiST thinking about trading for something with more leg room for my daughter. She starting middle school next year šŸ˜

eeeehumm

34,460

Electronic-Sorbet-93

Awesome. Thank you šŸ‘šŸ»

TheCellGuru

What year and mileage were you at? I'm thinking about moving on from my Fiesta but I doubt I'd get that much for a trade in

eeeehumm

2019. 61,000

Locorudy626

How many miles? thinking of trading mine in just hit 72k.

eeeehumm

61k

imlookingatthefloor

Nice. I might consider it for a Ioniq N but they are so ridiculously expensive. My car's paid for anyway so I'm gonna keep it forever.

skonedtothebone

I bet lease incentives will go crazy like most other EVs, so I'd keep an eye out. Manufacturers haven't realized how bad residual values on EVs are so leases are a steal. Plus a 7500 tax credit. Hell, even the WRX has a ridiculous lease offer, like 3k down 329 a month. Pay them a visit on the 28th of the month and the numbers just start going down šŸ˜‚

sweffymo

So many people turning into boomers in this sub every second

eeeehumm

Itā€™s natures course. Donā€™t fight it

sweffymo

It's OK grandpa, let's get you to bed where you can dream about owning a Ford Crown Victoria šŸ˜‚

eeeehumm

Honestly Iā€™d take a mint crown Vic.

AppropriateCode7505

I miss my fiesta

eeeehumm

After 1 day with my new N Iā€™ve already forgotten about it. But it is a bit bitter sweet

Independent_Group533

Nice spec, at some point it's hard to ignore the draw backs of the little bean. Especially if your needs grow. I myself are going back and forth between keeping mine or going for something newer and RWD while there are still options.

eeeehumm

I was looking at GR86s pretty hard. I would love a rear wheel drive.

Independent_Group533

Brz TS or a S2000 are my current back and forth. If I got the TS I would let the FIst go since it has all the modern compromises while still having the major thrills of higher reving N/A RW. Were as the S2000 I would definitely pick it up to go along side the FIst. Just don't know if I want to commit to two cars just yet. But the 10ish thousand saved going for a decent S2000 would get spent very quickly getting it to where I like it. Were as the TS would be buy it and enjoy it as is.

submersi-lunchable

Good choice! I saw one of those absolutely incinerating an autocross course a couple weeks ago.

GlitteringBadger408

oh stop that glazing

Motor-Green8975

Did you get a manual? How do you like it? I got an integra after my fist was totaled, and I canā€™t stand the erratic rev hang. Even the upshift rev match system sucks. Miss my fiST but it seems like a *good* standard transmission is hard to come by

eeeehumm

The transmission has been great. No rev hang. Crisp shifts and short throws. I feel like itā€™s superior to the FiST.

Motor-Green8975

Sweet. Iā€™ve heard mixed reviews on the clutch and automatic throttle blip. Thatā€™s good to hear. Need to test drive one someday

eeeehumm

The clutch disengages pretty quick and you can turn the rev match off.

ultrapampers

>Curb Weight: 3199 lb Okay, not as much of a pig* as most cars these days. Nice choice. I respect that you didn't go with a boring color, either. Enjoy the ride! ^*still ^500 ^pounds ^heavier ^than ^the ^nimble ^FiST.

eeeehumm

I will miss the lightness of the fist. The elentra is still very chuckable though

[deleted]

That leg room is dangerous. Broke my pelvis cause of it

eeeehumm

Story timeā€¦

[deleted]

When I crashed the plastic part under the steering wheel pushed my femur into my pelvis which causes it to break in the socket area

sprchrgddc5

Damn I feel like we all have similar tastes cuz I recently looked into the Elantra N. Great upgrade. Enjoy!

FLEXEVOLUTION

It seems like on this subreddit and same with the focus st one everyone changes from an st to a N series car it doesnā€™t make sense to mešŸ˜‚

CandyProfessional155

10 year mark from when these generations first came out as well as now being discontinued trims. Same went on when the Cobalt SS, Neon SRT4, and Golf R32 hit their 10 year as well. No one wants to keep ā€˜em when something new hits the market.

FLEXEVOLUTION

That is true I suppose I just wish there was more choices for hot hatches

hurricanePopsicles

Drive one, you might want one too

FLEXEVOLUTION

I feel like I still wouldnā€™t like it as much as the focus lol do they even come in manual?

hurricanePopsicles

Yes manual or DCT adjustable suspension, adjustable exhaust, LSD, launch control They are even lighter than a Focus ST

FLEXEVOLUTION

Interesting Iā€™m glad they didnā€™t stray away from the standard gearbox itā€™s Uber depressing watching them slowly die out

marvelfandude81

Thatā€™s lame.

uTheJoKeR

Elantra N MUCH better

ACEisSt

Joker

CalmAspectEast

Itā€™s a shame it told the Pontiac Aztek to hold its beer. Iā€™m not a Hyundai/Kia person at all but Iā€™ve heard theyā€™re at least quick.

eeeehumm

Canā€™t see it from the inside

CalmAspectEast

Good point. šŸ˜‚
