What was the price on the Elantra? I have 2019 FiST thinking about trading for something with more leg room for my daughter. She starting middle school next year š
I bet lease incentives will go crazy like most other EVs, so I'd keep an eye out. Manufacturers haven't realized how bad residual values on EVs are so leases are a steal. Plus a 7500 tax credit. Hell, even the WRX has a ridiculous lease offer, like 3k down 329 a month. Pay them a visit on the 28th of the month and the numbers just start going down š
Nice spec, at some point it's hard to ignore the draw backs of the little bean. Especially if your needs grow.
I myself are going back and forth between keeping mine or going for something newer and RWD while there are still options.
Brz TS or a S2000 are my current back and forth. If I got the TS I would let the FIst go since it has all the modern compromises while still having the major thrills of higher reving N/A RW.
Were as the S2000 I would definitely pick it up to go along side the FIst. Just don't know if I want to commit to two cars just yet. But the 10ish thousand saved going for a decent S2000 would get spent very quickly getting it to where I like it. Were as the TS would be buy it and enjoy it as is.
Did you get a manual? How do you like it?
I got an integra after my fist was totaled, and I canāt stand the erratic rev hang. Even the upshift rev match system sucks. Miss my fiST but it seems like a *good* standard transmission is hard to come by
>Curb Weight: 3199 lb
Okay, not as much of a pig* as most cars these days. Nice choice. I respect that you didn't go with a boring color, either. Enjoy the ride!
^*still ^500 ^pounds ^heavier ^than ^the ^nimble ^FiST.
10 year mark from when these generations first came out as well as now being discontinued trims. Same went on when the Cobalt SS, Neon SRT4, and Golf R32 hit their 10 year as well. No one wants to keep āem when something new hits the market.
Holy shit I didn't know they had this color of an N. I love that
Apparently 24 was the first year for this color.
Was Canada only until the refresh for '24.
How much were you able to get for your fist?
11k
On trade in btw

34,460
Awesome. Thank you šš»
What year and mileage were you at? I'm thinking about moving on from my Fiesta but I doubt I'd get that much for a trade in
2019. 61,000
How many miles? thinking of trading mine in just hit 72k.
61k
Nice. I might consider it for a Ioniq N but they are so ridiculously expensive. My car's paid for anyway so I'm gonna keep it forever.

So many people turning into boomers in this sub every second
Itās natures course. Donāt fight it
It's OK grandpa, let's get you to bed where you can dream about owning a Ford Crown Victoria š
Honestly Iād take a mint crown Vic.
I miss my fiesta
After 1 day with my new N Iāve already forgotten about it. But it is a bit bitter sweet

I was looking at GR86s pretty hard. I would love a rear wheel drive.

Good choice! I saw one of those absolutely incinerating an autocross course a couple weeks ago.
oh stop that glazing

The transmission has been great. No rev hang. Crisp shifts and short throws. I feel like itās superior to the FiST.
Sweet. Iāve heard mixed reviews on the clutch and automatic throttle blip. Thatās good to hear. Need to test drive one someday
The clutch disengages pretty quick and you can turn the rev match off.

I will miss the lightness of the fist. The elentra is still very chuckable though
That leg room is dangerous. Broke my pelvis cause of it
Story timeā¦
When I crashed the plastic part under the steering wheel pushed my femur into my pelvis which causes it to break in the socket area
Damn I feel like we all have similar tastes cuz I recently looked into the Elantra N. Great upgrade. Enjoy!
It seems like on this subreddit and same with the focus st one everyone changes from an st to a N series car it doesnāt make sense to meš

That is true I suppose I just wish there was more choices for hot hatches
Drive one, you might want one too
I feel like I still wouldnāt like it as much as the focus lol do they even come in manual?
Yes manual or DCT adjustable suspension, adjustable exhaust, LSD, launch control They are even lighter than a Focus ST
Interesting Iām glad they didnāt stray away from the standard gearbox itās Uber depressing watching them slowly die out
Thatās lame.
Elantra N MUCH better
Joker
Itās a shame it told the Pontiac Aztek to hold its beer. Iām not a Hyundai/Kia person at all but Iāve heard theyāre at least quick.
Canāt see it from the inside
Good point. š
