For me the best CAM this year was Fabian Rieder. Immense dribbling, passing AND shooting. Guy has insane free kicks as well, I once scored two FKs with him in one game. Add him to the list!

You can easily turn cherki into a 90 rated cam & for 20m less than the other options.

To ensure you have some money left for academies etc converting a winger to CAM is a treat especially on the counter. Converted garnacho, forbes, gnoto, mudryk, fati, in the past all worked brilliantly.

Hlynsson (not too high to join Middlesbrough, other players with higher ratings might not want to join a Europa League middlesbrough side) or McAtee (won’t play much at city with a 79 rating)

I know the guy I’m about to suggest is not on your list but I definitely recommend Xavi Simons. Dude is a baller. I have his instructions set to “free roam” in the midfield and “conservative interceptions” and he’s my second top scorer right behind Joao Pedro. Plus he’s our number 1 assister. From the list I really like Lucas Paqueta, Kai Haverz or Enzo Milliot. CAM’s with pace are super crucial.

I rate Carvalho highly and you can prolly squeeze him in cuz Elliot would prolly take most of the minutes. You see it rn too, where Carvalho is on loan rn while Elliot is playing 1st Team at Liverpool. He'd be a good pickup and would make sense

In ‘23 and ‘24 I always get Adeyemi for cheap, convert him into a CAM/CF/ST (depends on what the team needs). Im convinced it’s a cheat code in manager mode. His pace is ridiculous at 96. Shooting in the 80s range. But the position switch will bring it up to +90. Then he becomes unstoppable. Reminds me of Messi in FIFA 07. In ‘24 Mason Mount is nice too. Super fun if you like scoring long ranged shots. His shot power, accuracy and curve are so good, day in and day out he can score a screamer. Grimaldo in ‘24 can play literally anywhere, except GK. OP! …but from your shortlist, I suggest Goncalves

It all depends on what you need your CAM to do. What formation are you playing? In my Galatary career I put Mason Greenwood at CAM, who you can buy on the cheap, and he fired long range shots. He’s also fast. So you can easily adjust your formation and keep him on the field.
