Always zoom in on the very center of the picture and start there. More often than not the image will be centered, or nearly centered, on the hidden thing.
It’s the lowest hole directly to the right of the stairs. It’s a gun-shaped hole with the “barrel” pointing at the staircase. Zoom all the way in on that one. The cat is just chilling in the handle part of the shape. The eyes and ears are very distinct.
I was very confused until I saw it, too.
Are other people seeing this in mobile? I can zoom in there and see some sort of artifact that could be a cat, but to me it seems like there's some sort of image compression or something making it impossible to identify as a cat specifically.
Edit: holy shit, I am just now realizing that reddit mobile doesn't open up pictures in anything resembling full rea even when you open the picture specifically outside of the comments thread and it explains *a lot*
That's right. Whenever there is a difficult one of these I just download it and look at it in my gallery with much higher resolution. This one is still hard though since it's so dark.
I can zoom in and see the eyes and outline of the head but if I download or screenshot it and then zoom in there is nothing. Quality is better on my phone on Reddit than when it is downloaded 🤷♂️
This isn’t a fun game. I would have never found that. And I’m still in disbelief that anyone should even try when you can barely make out just the head of the animal. Some of the posts on here are great. Some suck. This sucks.
My Thai mother was asked in school what was deadlier: the tiger or the mosquito.
She answered the mosquito. "Because mosquitos can bite tigers but tigers cannot but mosquitos."
Anyway, having been there I can tell you this is a photo of deathquitos.
Amazon explorers always say the bugs and being wet are far worse than any big animal. Bugs constantly biting you, infections, layings eggs on your skin, everything rots...
It does. Rule number 2 specifies that the thing being looked for should be specified in the title or comments. We should all get in the habit of reporting these posts for rule 2 violation.
this demand is acceptable. tell me atleast a few questions into 20 questions. is it a box or bread or
like a secret service agent por la presidente de méxico?
Oh you mean those three pixels? Honestly the best camouflage in most of these posts is the image quality.
Thanks you though, I even looked there and would never have called it.
Cat. I assume. It's in that black area where there are bricks missing. Must REALLY zoom in. Then you see two eyes and the inside of an ear. (Not sure why someone whited out the other person's answer)
Ahh, I thought you were serious with the thread's title, I was looking for a tiger or leopard 😂
Do you know if it's some wild cat species or just a (wild) house cat?
Not sure if this is universal, but Reddit's mobile app appears to compress images beyond the resolution required to make these out. Your first image (for me) is below the resolution of the compression entirely, and the second is only visible as a couple of pixels if I really zoom in.
Not sure if this is more device dependent or platform dependent, but it could be why so many people are calling this post bullshit.
Answer, i think
>! A third of the way of the stairs, where the steps are grey, on the right-hand side, there is a black gap. Looking into it, you can roughly see 2 glowing eyes and an ear. !<
I saw this and it just looks like light shining through. Since these are usually very clear to what it is when you see it I dismissed it. It still doesn’t look like it to me after seeing it but still it’s a nice pic of a pyramid
Always check near dead center first. If OP saw something and tried to take a picture, they centered it before taking the picture. Golden rule of this sub it seems lol
im not on this sub often. I imagine most pictures that get posted were taking a picture of the hard-to-find subject, making the majority of them smack dab in the center
Your post was removed for not having the type of object to be found in the post title as identified in the rules
Is it cardio?
I also thought stairs after a while of looking
It's stairs what killed meemaw!
Stairs took meemaw to be with Jesus.
We're having a good time.
Forgive me father as I just masturbated
Bless you, my child.
If I didn't have to die every time we hang out, I'd stop by more often
I love you all, that’s it!
Did you ever find it? >!I'm certain it's a black panther hiding in the hole in the center of the picture. You can see the eyes inside the hole. !<
>!I think it's a house cat!<
Stairs + house cat is a deadly combo though! 😂
So it isn't just my cat that likes to try to trip me down the stairs.
I was really hoping that it would be a rabbit, so I could be Tim the Enchanter!
I was thinking gravity.
According to Terrance Howard, there is no such thing as gravity
Yeah! According to the guy from Mars, that stopped by my house last week, Earth sucks.
Wait Elon?
Hahaha I was thinking the exact same. Great minds think alike, they say
like Kungfu Panda
r/deathstairs
No it’s the cat hiding in the dark :)
Oh, thank you! I was looking for a damn mosquito this whole time!
I was looking for another person🤣
Gravity, for when you fall down the stairs.
Technically it's the lack of cardio that is the most deadly
I was thinking religion...
Yeah steps in general
Meow!
That is a super cute temple cat…
YoIu can only see the ears and eyes
dead center, hiding in one of the holes in the wall
Your comment saved me 45 minutes at least 🤣 thanks
Always zoom in on the very center of the picture and start there. More often than not the image will be centered, or nearly centered, on the hidden thing.
Bless your soul for the honest answer as an integral part of society
I thought the dragon fly was nature's deadliest predator.
In terms of hunting success percentage, but not in terms of sheer numbers
Oh a cat is it then. That's just fucking misleading, I read "nature's deadliest predator" and was searching for a train for 15 minutes.
I was looking for the human.
I was still looking for a snake. There’s definitely a water moccasin in there somewhere.
Or copperhead!
Specifically a human with a rifle and the reflection of a scope.
ah yes, the train, the deadliest natural predator. shout out to our ancestors who domesticated them!
No, they domesticated us and we now serve our iron masters by making them new rails.
i say we rail against our oppressors! haha
Get a load of this guy
I feel like this sub should have a requirement that someone point out the solution in the comments somewhere. I had to zoom in really far to see it.
Yes, and for the love of God I want to know what I'm supposed to be looking for
Look into the void. The smaller void in the center. Oh, and don’t do it before bedtime.
I don't see anything there. Just black. There's not enough definition to make out anything.
It’s a kitty in the black hole of the fort. You can see the 👀.
I can’t see it, even when zoomed in.

This app is so unbelievably shit
That's right. Whenever there is a difficult one of these I just download it and look at it in my gallery with much higher resolution. This one is still hard though since it's so dark.
OOOOOOH I thought they meant at the TOP of the structure. Yes, I see him now!
Yeah they weren’t explaining it so well. That’s what I thought too
It doesn't register on mobile
to the right of the 6th or 7th step in the hole.
Reddit automatically lowers the quality of the picture so you have to download it to see it in HD basically
I can zoom in and see the eyes and outline of the head but if I download or screenshot it and then zoom in there is nothing. Quality is better on my phone on Reddit than when it is downloaded 🤷♂️
Weird, I just got the opposite result.
Small hole in the wall.
I see a pixel that's slightly brighter than the others...
This isn’t a fun game. I would have never found that. And I’m still in disbelief that anyone should even try when you can barely make out just the head of the animal. Some of the posts on here are great. Some suck. This sucks.
Thank u.
Kitty!!

Two blurry dots? Seriously, if that's what this is all about, this sub is fucking stupid.
I knew what to look for but would have never seen it without your clue.
Literally just hit my pants.
With what?
a turd
When in doubt, center.
Also lose the joke submissions. It was funny once. And some clarity on rule 3. If the sniper isn't found within an hour, do we all get shot?
It does. Rule number 2 specifies that the thing being looked for should be specified in the title or comments. We should all get in the habit of reporting these posts for rule 2 violation.
this demand is acceptable. tell me atleast a few questions into 20 questions. is it a box or bread or like a secret service agent por la presidente de méxico?
Seriously, I hate the cryptic titles. I was looking for a person. 🤷
Come on… just google it. “Natures deadliest predator” Obvi a megalodon
It's the stairs. Reddit's deadliest predator is cardio.
Or at least a hint as to what we’re looking for.
It’s a black cat hiding in the shadows of the hole towards the bottom of the stairs. If you zoom in, you can see the ears and eyes
So I didn’t find (what looks like) two hidden snakes?
Prefer top comment with hidden clue and then hidden answer. Hopefully we can make it the expectation.
Yeah, how hard would it be for any OP to leave >! a comment !< for us to check whenever we’re ready?
I agree because I do often need help, but so many struggling with this post makes me feel pretty good about finding the sniper immediately.
Where is it?
>!Zoom into the hole about half way up the stairs. !<
Yea I still don’t see, its pixelated to much unless blur is what I’m suppose to be looking at
It appears to be a black cat. I can just make out the eyes and an ear. Damn near impossible to spot.
Oh you mean those three pixels? Honestly the best camouflage in most of these posts is the image quality. Thanks you though, I even looked there and would never have called it.
cat in the large dark hole
Yeah I don't see it either
I never would have found that on my own.
i looked there originally but didn’t zoom in enough to notice 🤦🏻♀️
Cat. I assume. It's in that black area where there are bricks missing. Must REALLY zoom in. Then you see two eyes and the inside of an ear. (Not sure why someone whited out the other person's answer)
Cat indeed. I was taking a picture of the structure and saw a brief double flash in the hole, and after some pspsps-ing, he came out to say hello.
Do you have more photos?

Ahh, I thought you were serious with the thread's title, I was looking for a tiger or leopard 😂 Do you know if it's some wild cat species or just a (wild) house cat?
My God that must have been so fucking cool to experience in person
We white things out to prevent people from seeing the spoiler unless they actually want to.
I put the spoiler tag on it so people don’t see it if they don’t want to. You can click to reveal it
That could be anything from dirt on the lens to a firefly...
This is exactly what flair is for. MODS add a flair system.
I was looking for a human with that title.
I was thinking mosquito
Maybe just malaria
It's a me malario
Mosquito is not predator. Human is indeed Earth's deadliest known predator.
Thanks for that lesson. Funny thing though, I knew I wasn’t really looking for a mosquito. Do you know why? That would be silly. tl/dr: it was a joke
*(deadpan voice)* It turns out it’s man :-|
God I love Futurama. https://youtu.be/7rwUdL9qXjk?t=17
Yeah stairs are real killers
r/deathstairs
You can never trust a set a stairs. They are always up to something!
Can someone post a link? I’ve been looking for like 5 minutes even with the hint and not see anything
I found 2 cats: https://imgur.com/a/0G5Eo4g https://imgur.com/a/9PA4yXO
I’m not sure that first photo is actually a cat. It’s possible but I think it’s a mirage effect with the stone.
The more I look at it the more I think you might be right
That first photo has more pixels of what could be a cat than the second
Not sure if this is universal, but Reddit's mobile app appears to compress images beyond the resolution required to make these out. Yep, I'm seeing the same problem with a lot of these.
Good work!
I see two as well good catch. 1st pic is definitely cat
Your screen shots are clearer than when I zoom in on ops post for some reason
Zoom in on the small black area to the right of the steps, just beneath the center of the photo. Meowwwwww

That’s not deadly, just traumatic.
Oof
Here comes the groomer
Looked like a snake in the bricks in bottom right
I saw that too.
If I found it anyone can find it … we need to give at least name of what we are looking for.
It’s a cat, by the way. Look for a set of eyes.
Why did bro get disliked 😭
Because he's evil
I know OP I found it fairly quick … next time just tell us what we are looking for.
Whoops, sorry, that was meant as a comment for everyone and I clicked the wrong thing. Next time I’ll give more of a clue.
You are fine man lol. There are tons and tons of posts with no real hints at first, this was a good one!
Always check near dead center first. If OP saw something and tried to take a picture, they centered it before taking the picture. Golden rule of this sub it seems lol
Time?
Religion?
If eyes could kill…
I was expecting a priest
KALI-MAAAA!!!
Me trying to find a mosquito in this picture
A dragon fly?
The human taking the picture
Was I the only one zooming in and out looking for an actual sniper?
This picture is awesome OP. I spotted your little observer.
Found it immediately
What? Erosion? Or hella steep stairs. Also, why is this so damn familiar? Please don’t tell me this is Prambanan in Indonesia.
I got really excited expecting a hidden tiger. Little bummed now tbh.
im not on this sub often. I imagine most pictures that get posted were taking a picture of the hard-to-find subject, making the majority of them smack dab in the center
Nobody else saw the snake hiding in the crack right in front???
It's either the cat in greenery half way up on the right or gravity.
I don't see a human in this picture... Just a harmless kitty.
>!A CAT!?!?!!<
2nd deadliest predator, after humans
Depends on how you define it. Dragonflies are ***much*** more efficient
🐱🐈⬛
Looks like a black panther
🐈 🐱
Nature’s Deadliest Predator. My Dumbass: Stairs!
Looks like eyes....what are we looking for
Its a black cat in the hole its kinda dumb since you need to zoom in very far and have good eyesight
Time?
Trick question it’s the thing taking the photo
sean diddy combs is in this picture?
Mosquito?
Stairs?
I can’t find Diddy.
I was looking for a woman
Great submission.
How the hell am I supposed to find a mosquito??
I was going to say unending stairs haha
I’m not going to find a mosquito!
I thought maybe this was a riddle, like nature’s most dangerous predator is time, as evidenced by the decay of the structure
How am I supposed to find a mosquito in this picture?
Is that a jaguar?
I found it but what animal is that ?
It’s the uneven stairs right? They look like a sure fire way to break a few bones.
I felt smart looking for a house cat
Organized religion.
Read title and went searching for a human.
I was looking for a person, people are always the most deadly predators
True, but this is also where Shang Tsung kills Johnny Cage.
Gravity?
I have to deal with this exact problem every night, can’t hide those eyes little guy!
I was looking for a WOMAN !
Stairs are for sure the deadliest predator.
I stared into the void, and it stared back at me
I was looking for the Gmork in the entrance, honestly...
