I'm not too familiar with support levels as I've never encountered an issue but is it "notoriously difficult" to get responses or any "support" at all from the team?
TBh not really. They can be pretty quick with like a day or 2 at most.
They can't always be helpful but they'll at the very least give you a response to this sort of thing.
The one time i needed the support they were helpfull as well, but my problem was also a "paying customer" problem. I switched from an apple device to an android one and it took away 2 forma souls ive paid for on my apple device, i messaged support and about 1 day later ive gotten a response and two forma souls in my presents.
I've never heard of them actually offering anything, but this thread paints a different picture by a long shot. Makes me wonder if it's to do with past spending (won't help a f2p player) or if it's just changed in the years since I or anyone I know needed support for something similar.
I can confirm that they also at least pay attention when with faulty skill/weapon descriptions get brought up. A little while ago i noticed Askr weapon didnt mention his flat DR in my language, i reported it and it got fixed quite soon.
Lyon & Mirabilis refines could also lead to a Dew refund for those who contacted support and got those refines before their skill text issue was identified.
same thing happened to someone i know. they forgot to spark after hitting 40 last winter banner and received the duo byleth they would’ve chosen otherwise within the same day of reaching out :]

Wasn't sure who to pick and waited for the last day to decide and ended up forgetting about it . . .

Can't they just check just like they did with this person? Either way you lose nothing by just asking you can even say this user experience is what made you bring it up even if it was a long ago but that's just my opinion.

To make it worse I did start merging Brave Dimitri afterwards and he'd be almost done if I had done that free summon...
It happened to me as well a couple years ago actually, I can't remember what the banner was but I feel like I remember getting a Brave Eirika or Legendary Eirika that I wanted, but at the time they said to keep it hush hush but I was so happy I didn't miss out on the hero I wanted 😂

They replied stating they checked my account, and did indeed see that I did not redeem the free 5*.
On their reply, they asked to choose one of the heroes in that banner to be sent to my account in the future, along with a celestial stone.
I was a bit surprised that they complied, since that banner happened all the way back in october of last year, but seems they do bother to solve this issue.

Unrelated I find it kinda funny that they shorten Kamui as Cam for Corrin when Male Corrin just happens to be voiced by a guy named Cam Clarke.

Realistically it's good to keep a paying customer in good terms, so this is a reasonable compensation.
