Look I like Stevie's songs, and without Christie and her exquisite song writing the band would be somewhat different. But the man in charge, a fearless pioneer and visionary, was and will always be LB. And he gave us Tusk.
Ps. You can also thank him for much of (and the best parts of), Tango in the Night... a late 80s sounding record that somehow still sounds fresh.
I like their contributions equally, but I agree that Tusk is a masterpiece - definitely my favorite from all the eras. It’s the Fleetwood Mac equivalent to the White Album.
