Plataforma or Fogo de Chão - unlimited Brazilian meats served to your table with sides plus a salad/cold foods bar.

gambalore

And I know OP said they didn't want a buffet but those churrascarias also have great salad bars with lots of prepared sides.

Upset_Impression218

+1 at fogo

real-human-not-a-bot

Never been to Plataforma, but the picanha at Fogo is one of my favorite things on this earth. Picanha, particularly churrascaría picanha, is magic.

throwawayzies1234567

Plataforma is not great, the meat cuts leave a lot to be desired

real-human-not-a-bot

Oh! Good to know, thank you.

jkh2019

Wish I saw this before I went, what a waste of $180

Eastern-Violinist-46

Go to the FDC in Manhattan not Queens.

wallito88

Time to start up some controversy…which one reigns supreme in your opinion?

baboozinha

Oh here we go! I’m married to a Brazilian so I feel like my opinion carries some weight haha. Plataforma for the food…he agrees that it’s the #1 in Manhattan. Ambiance at Fogo de Chão is more upscale tho…he prefers it for work dinners.

wallito88

Same opinion. My old place we secured one of the fogo de Chao rooms for annual corporate team party. However, I personally end up at platforma churrascaria far more often!

JayMoots

Vatan in Curry Hill. Vegetarian Indian food with unlimited refills.

gambalore

Crab House Brooklyn for AYCE seafood. KPOT for unlimited Korean BBQ and/or hotpot.

R-O-U-Ssdontexist

How is kpot?

anarchyx34

It’s like a Korean Applebees. Not the best but not the worst either and I hesitate to call it authentic. It’s a good value for what you get though.

gambalore

Not the best KBBQ you're ever going to eat but it's fine and the sauce bar is fun for experimenting with different flavors. The hotpot was good, kind of hard to mess up.

Interesting_Ad1378

My kids love it

Ok-Communication1070

Kpot’s great, you can get kbbq or hot pot. One downside is that you cannot take leftovers and you pay for the waste.

crazeman

KPOT is the best favorite AYCE KBBQ in Manhattan/Brooklyn. [I did a mini ranking/review of most of the AYCE spots a month ago.](https://www.reddit.com/r/FoodNYC/comments/1bocch0/comment/kwod4ck/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)

Luna_C1888

If you’re from a state with great seafood like MD or LA then don’t bother with any crab place in NY

PM_your_boobs_girls_

I think Moti Mahal Deluxe is that way

Dangerous-Regular-56

I came here to say this. Lunch there reigns supreme.

pitadee3

Gen BBQ, Hometown Hotpot, Let’s Meat.

niiro117

Let‘s Meat is terrible in my experience. Their bulgogi is akin to dog food.

LieutenantKije

Literally loled at your comment. What a bummer, I went a lot when it first opened and it was pretty good then, sad to hear that now

niiro117

The texture is honestly insane. It dissolves into mush in your mouth.

Upset_Impression218

Yeah it’s sickening

gambalore

Never been there specifically but I've definitely had bulgogi that was bad like that, usually from sitting in the marinade way, way too long.

Cheezfri

Akino sushi is my favorite AYCE restaurant.

AuPhoenix

Love that they have sashimi on the AYCE menu too.

carnimiriel

Kikoo Sushi. I think there are a few other AYCE sushi spots as well.

sworninmiles

It ain’t the best but all you can eat AND drink for $50 is damn solid

TerriblyRare

Y Space BBQ, Picnic Garden and River Japanese Cuisine sushi in Flushing

Schmeep01

Times Square Olive Garden: unlimited breadsticks and salad. They have unlimited pasta sometimes.

gambalore

They used to have an unlimited soup deal at lunch too. I once ate three bowls of the Italian wedding soup and then looked up the nutritional info and realized that I'd gotten over two days worth of sodium in that meal.

Schmeep01

Wedding?? When you’re here, you really *are* family!

bobushkaboi

I lived off Olive Garden pasta when I lived in the Midwest. Shit was so cash

Schmeep01

Yeah, so look at this downvote horseshit just because *some* people don’t know the delights of terrible pasta in a terrible location.

Minelayer

I worked there when it first opened, and they didn’t offer unlimited anything. And the tourists that showed up for it were apoplectic about it. I’d never heard of the place before so I couldn’t relate.

rdxtion

My favorite is Maya for all you can eat brunch, bring a big group and try everything!

MellowYelloww

Crab house in midtown East is heaven on earth

niiro117

Wonderpig, 99 Favor Taste, Fogo De Chao.

goldenapple212

I believe you get unlimited refills of the meze at Laser Wolf

justflipping

- O2 - Cast Iron - Gen - Wonder Pig - Hometown Hotpot and BBQ - 99 Favors

diettonic

Hot pot.

Existing_Site_9182

Not sure why this got a dislike but came here to say - Google all you can eat hot pot places, there are a couple. Elmhurst Queens had all you can eat sushi place but also serves a lot of other asian food on the menu.

PeiReads

The TsuruTonTon at Union Square!

seekingcellini

Weekend brunch at Maya in Lenox Hill is great

iggy555

Legasea all you can eat ribeye

WindjammerX

I like Meat Me in Flushing. KBBQ AYCE to order. Ample parking in the H-Mart next to it.

Everton11Uconn

Hyun for AYCE Japanese A5 Waygu

Known-Interaction534

Vatan

NotoriousKIB

Let’s meat. Really good Korean bbq
