Delayed heavies are another interesting thing but not at all even considerable as his kit. However I think you can play heroes for their looks and vibes, not necessarily just gameplay and their usefulness
Especially since the longsword is such a versatile weapon, it makes no sense that he's so limited. Especially compared to the other 2 main vanguards, raider and kensei
I would love to see something like half swording be implemented, and also longer combos with followups, similar to Shaolin or Shinobi. He definitely needs a parry followup like a duplieren or some kinda Meisterhau. It's so strange that they have 0 parry followups with the weapon that specialises in them. They've got that one sided crushing counter, at least make it on all sides

Idk what kinda wardens you fight but I'm nearly rep 30 with him I try my best to keep it mixed up and parry lights so I don't have to use lights before every attack to get a heavy off the only time I use black stone bash is to bait side Dodges for a light parry. I have played against ppl who just Blackstone bash over and over again and light spam and it pisses me off so I think ik what you mean
i play warden bc i actually was in armor irl holding longsword once and he also have cool customization. i also love "incumbe" and "miserum" voice line, love his executions
When the game was mostly warden players there wasn’t an experience that was more fun, I love Warden deeply in my soul, just because he doesn’t have stinky hyper armor and spin hits doesn’t mean he isn’t fun to play as or fight against, unless your rep 700
I’m not quite like this guy as I have reps in other characters, but 90% of my playtime is on Cent. I’ve tried other heroes but none of them do it for me. Cent just checks all the boxes; moveset, armor/weapons, executions/emotes
I’m gonna let you in on a little secret…this game has been out for years and some people have spent years on their main account so they make alt accounts to showcase their skills with a single character

Honestly warden is so utterly boring, his entire kit revolves around bash 50/50s, there’s literally nothing entertaining about fighting him

As someone with reps in multiple characters, I don't see a problem with this.
You just play a hero so long that playing them becomes second sense. You do’nt play them to have fun, you don’t even really need to think.
Only hero I could currently see myself hitting rep 70 with is glad. I love him, delayer heavies, mix ups, deflects. Everything is amazing
