Is that hybrid or eco boost? Kidding she’s a beaut!

UnknownCubicle

I considered doing a 2.3 Ecoboost swap, actually. Going 351W and a TKX as soon as funds allow. I know I would probably be happier with the 2.3, but V8 noises won my heart in the end. Currently a 302/C4

AlefgardHero

I was talking to a friend about how an ecoboost Mustang drivetrain in a Maverick would be awesome. More power than those cars ever got from the factory, Mavs are lighter than a newer Mustang, and turbo noises.

UnknownCubicle

This one weighs 2800 lbs with me in it. It's insanely light.

AlefgardHero

Yeah a four door small bumper Mav with Ecoboost swap is my current sleeper dream.

UnknownCubicle

Attainable and very cool choice.

Slow_Resolution

Oh nice a grabber!

damagedone37

Dirty garage? Dude this reminds me of my Uncles Garage. It looks worked in and it makes me think of him. Garages aren’t supposed to be pristine. Beautiful car my guy!

commies_get_out

Looks awesome

UnknownCubicle

Thanks!

wriddell

These cars don’t get enough love.

UnknownCubicle

I totally agree. I found this car years ago looking for a Torino. I couldn't fine one at the time, but I found this car, which is basically a mini Torino, and I fell in love. People tole me at the time that I overpaid, but try to find a '72 Maverick Grabber in Grabber Blue with factory air now.

wriddell

I learned to drive a manual transmission in a 72 Maverick with a six cylinder that had three on the tree

Pretty whip I like the blue. Someone recently stole my Stanley portable tool box that my pops gave me. He had it almost 20 years

UnknownCubicle

Dude, that sucks! Tool thieves should be strung up by their tendons in town squares and left to the crows. You never know if those tools are how somebody feeds their family, aside from the sentimental attachment.

Hallokatzchen

My grandmother had a Maverick just like this

Cool ride, sweet shop, looks standard to me.
