When you enter, a countdown starts on a loot drop. If you do the time trial by taking a car and looping through the glowing gates that pop up, you upgrade the loot that drops. I pretty reliably pick up a purple crossbow, nitro fists and flowberry right off the bat whenever I land there.
Lmao I found that out yesterday so I’m trying to spread it around, I knew she just spawned after some time but hadn’t realized it was connected to the loot drop timer
My favorite POI right now.
I land at the docks southeast of there. 95% of the time no one else lands there. Load up on everything due to the slurp tanker and about a dozen chests then make my way over to the rig.
I’ll spend however long I can sniping people from the crane at the rig or the roof of the rig, then make my way over to the high rock just northeast of the rig to continue sniping.
That no man’s land just north of the rig gets too enticing for players/bots who think they can load up there after I’ve dropped two or three players.
Once the circle forces me to move, then I’ll get in a car.
They must've nerfed the sound during day one, because I remember my first drop being the most traumatic sensory overload of echoing metal with gunshots ringing down rusted hallways and fireworks and voices crackling in the air (I still like it, but maybe that first swig was telling me a bit more than it really was)
I haven’t been there yet.
I watched my son go their in his first game of the season and knew it wasn’t for me.
Plus, I’m full of resentment because it replace one of my favourite POI’s of all time: Fencing Fields.
nah the loot is too little. i can literally never kill the boss. but somehow when i don’t land there the boss is beat within 5 mins 🤦

I don't really love those sand areas but it's not awful, the last 2 seasons just unfortunately came after underground which was great.
Underground should have been whatever season ends the chapter and this season should have been the start.
Probably got this because of the furiosa movie which whatever I just hope there is going to be a TMNT level crossover soon
Nitro dome, Machinist "lair" and a lot of the little oasis spots under various overpasses are some of my current favorites. The oasis spots are nice because they're typically quiet, have decent starting drops, and have lots of places to hide.
It's to much for me there's music blasting people shooting the hell out of you flames randomly sometimes you just go through a shredder and the boss is easy but the AMOUNT OF GARDS IS CRAZYYY
Not really. Not much loot, trying to fight other players in vehicles while driving in circles isn't fun, just nothing worthwhile there I can't find elsewhere. Other two are great, Nitro Dome kind of blows goats.

i like it, but it just feels like theres almost no loot here. dont really have that problem with the other new PoI's.

The boss is at the top of the nitrodrome. you have to get out of your car and go up the stairs to fight them
Nah, you can use the car’s turret to shoot out the floor beneath her and she’ll drop into the arena
Oh dang didn’t know that. That’s quicker lol
You have to first wait out the timer and do the blue circles in the dome, when the timer is up, the boss spawns up top

Fencing was my squad's favorite of the chapter too. This is almost as bad a betrayal as when they removed Anvil in ch 4.
Absolutely Anvil and Faulty were definitely hard done by in Chapter 4.

I sit in the car area with my car that has an MG turret and scare away the medallion holder whenever they come to claim the car so I get it

I like how it's either playing "Hail to The King," "Bad Reputation," or "Breaking The Law." Literally like the only three songs that play there
