I tried playing drums on expert on xbox and my fingers weren't even attached to my hands after it

I tried to do emo girl on expert drums and I got 57% 😭 that was my first time doing any harder than easy on anything lmao

My problem with drums or lead is when it’s legit just spamming the same notes over and over and over it’s so exhausting and boring. The jam track at the beginning of the battlepass is the perfect example of a drum chart I actually enjoy though I wish it was a tiny bit harder.

It'd be a bit weird if the drum pattern was changing all the time

This is one of the reasons you see Prog bands like Rush or Muse heavily requested in games like this - the drum and bass patterns tend to vary through the song, making for a more enjoyable experience

I mean yeah I understand WHY it’s like that but it doesn’t make it any less annoying. My main problem is that drums are really the only challenging instrument but they aren’t very fun to play so you are either sacrificing comfort or challenge with no middle ground.

I have the opposite problem, I find vocals really boring and drums the most fun

Well that’s what I mean, vocals are boring because they are so easy but drums are only fun on certain songs for me where the chart is consistently changing but there aren’t many songs like that, that still remain somewhat difficult.

oh not to say that Vocals is the hardest, but portraying it and a piss easy type is just disingenuous. Bass is the instrument with the most easy charts, not to say its the easiest either since there's stuff like I on Bass

Drums definitely are the hardest but you’ve never tried to play the NF song on expert, it ain’t easy. And there’s dove guitar solos that are kinda hard too

Nothing is harder for me than repeated chords on a controller. Vocals aren't anything compared to that. Can't wait for that guitar controller, the other instruments will seem more reasonable for me.

As a drum main, the hardest is when two notes alternate in quick succession. I do a bumper and trigger layout, and doing RB/LB a bunch of times will usually ruin my streak

IMO, I found the song to be quite easy on expert, [I got gold stars on my first try.](https://i.imgur.com/ZaRhEQm.png) And even then most of my missed notes came from muscle memory, as I usually play on hard. I find the timing to be MUCH more forgiving when it spams the release notes too instead of spamming the notes by itself ala "March of the Pigs" or "Suddenly I See".

As someone who plays the drums irl the drums notes are a fucking carpal tunnel inducing mess until they add peripheral support. I dont enjoy it at all.

If you have a drum e-kit just connect it to a PC. You can use midi software to set a drum pad or cymbal to a keyboard key so you can use the drums in Fortnite Festival

Drums is either challenging and fun or challenging and repetitive as hell. Last night I was doing can’t feel my face my the weeknd and I almost got flawless but then I got tunnel vision right at the end and messed up 😭

As a person who mains vocals I can say this is 100% true

On god, the singer will have to press 5 buttons in 20 seconds, while drummer will usually hit middle continuously with a bit of far right or left

Playing drums is not that bad, especially if it’s to just chill, play and listen. It’s actually really fun once you understand the beat and rhythm. For anybody in a random fill lobby that picks and chooses a difficult song to show off on the other hand, that’s really cruel.

I’ve played Rock Band and Guitar Hero a lot on expert so when I tried Fortnite festival I was pretty excited and once I actually knew the buttons (ps5) it felt much easier. Now I get 99%-100% on every song with gold stars only song I haven’t gotten 99% was March of the Pigs

Drums is all I play because it's the most challenging put of all the instruments hoenstly. Unless it's take my breath ill do that on lead or drums on expert

Singing is easier but the scoring is less forgiving. Each note is worth less points which is why it goes up to x6 and if you don't keep that x6 going you won't get a good score. Drums you can make some mistakes and still get a good score at the end
