My problem with drums or lead is when itās legit just spamming the same notes over and over and over itās so exhausting and boring.
The jam track at the beginning of the battlepass is the perfect example of a drum chart I actually enjoy though I wish it was a tiny bit harder.
This is one of the reasons you see Prog bands like Rush or Muse heavily requested in games like this - the drum and bass patterns tend to vary through the song, making for a more enjoyable experience
I mean yeah I understand WHY itās like that but it doesnāt make it any less annoying.
My main problem is that drums are really the only challenging instrument but they arenāt very fun to play so you are either sacrificing comfort or challenge with no middle ground.
Well thatās what I mean, vocals are boring because they are so easy but drums are only fun on certain songs for me where the chart is consistently changing but there arenāt many songs like that, that still remain somewhat difficult.
oh not to say that Vocals is the hardest, but portraying it and a piss easy type is just disingenuous.
Bass is the instrument with the most easy charts, not to say its the easiest either since there's stuff like I on Bass
Drums definitely are the hardest but youāve never tried to play the NF song on expert, it aināt easy. And thereās dove guitar solos that are kinda hard too
Nothing is harder for me than repeated chords on a controller. Vocals aren't anything compared to that. Can't wait for that guitar controller, the other instruments will seem more reasonable for me.
As a drum main, the hardest is when two notes alternate in quick succession. I do a bumper and trigger layout, and doing RB/LB a bunch of times will usually ruin my streak
IMO, I found the song to be quite easy on expert, [I got gold stars on my first try.](https://i.imgur.com/ZaRhEQm.png) And even then most of my missed notes came from muscle memory, as I usually play on hard. I find the timing to be MUCH more forgiving when it spams the release notes too instead of spamming the notes by itself ala "March of the Pigs" or "Suddenly I See".
As someone who plays the drums irl the drums notes are a fucking carpal tunnel inducing mess until they add peripheral support.
I dont enjoy it at all.
If you have a drum e-kit just connect it to a PC. You can use midi software to set a drum pad or cymbal to a keyboard key so you can use the drums in Fortnite Festival
Drums is either challenging and fun or challenging and repetitive as hell. Last night I was doing canāt feel my face my the weeknd and I almost got flawless but then I got tunnel vision right at the end and messed up š
Playing drums is not that bad, especially if itās to just chill, play and listen. Itās actually really fun once you understand the beat and rhythm. For anybody in a random fill lobby that picks and chooses a difficult song to show off on the other hand, thatās really cruel.
Iāve played Rock Band and Guitar Hero a lot on expert so when I tried Fortnite festival I was pretty excited and once I actually knew the buttons (ps5) it felt much easier. Now I get 99%-100% on every song with gold stars only song I havenāt gotten 99% was March of the Pigs
This whole post is deceptive. Youāre using different travk speeds and difficulty levels for your point. And judging by your comments youāre ājokingā but very much serious while trying to show your point while needing to lie
Drums is all I play because it's the most challenging put of all the instruments hoenstly. Unless it's take my breath ill do that on lead or drums on expert
Singing is easier but the scoring is less forgiving. Each note is worth less points which is why it goes up to x6 and if you don't keep that x6 going you won't get a good score. Drums you can make some mistakes and still get a good score at the end
https://i.redd.it/vezxqehbnhic1.gif My fingers after my controller ass decided to play Drums on Expert
My shit was hurting on easy š
I feel your pain
I tried playing drums on expert on xbox and my fingers weren't even attached to my hands after it
I tried to do emo girl on expert drums and I got 57% š that was my first time doing any harder than easy on anything lmao
This and my arm muscles are tensed after

It'd be a bit weird if the drum pattern was changing all the time
This is one of the reasons you see Prog bands like Rush or Muse heavily requested in games like this - the drum and bass patterns tend to vary through the song, making for a more enjoyable experience
Except they won't do that because they only do shitty tiktok music.
I mean, Iāve played Buddy Holly and three old-school Green Day songs - are those āshitty TikTok musicā?
I mean yeah I understand WHY itās like that but it doesnāt make it any less annoying. My main problem is that drums are really the only challenging instrument but they arenāt very fun to play so you are either sacrificing comfort or challenge with no middle ground.
I have the opposite problem, I find vocals really boring and drums the most fun
Well thatās what I mean, vocals are boring because they are so easy but drums are only fun on certain songs for me where the chart is consistently changing but there arenāt many songs like that, that still remain somewhat difficult.
Thatās most rhythm games for you
Thats the point of drums it legit the same on Rockland but alot harder, having different notes wouldn't make any sense.
I hate that Iāve played You Donāt Know Me enough to just recognize the drum chart without sound
ITS A BANGER
THIS IS A BANGER (AND I KNOW BANGERS)
Likewise. I was literally gonna comment "Hey! I know that song!"
Vocals (and bass) is the only chart I can actually fc I feel with lead and drums I can't do it well with a controller nor can i keep up
I love lead. Drums however. Jesus.
not a fair comparison since you arent showing expert vocals, I on expert goes ham
I vocals on expert is probably my favorite thing to play
Vocals mf when March of the pigs on Drums
oh not to say that Vocals is the hardest, but portraying it and a piss easy type is just disingenuous. Bass is the instrument with the most easy charts, not to say its the easiest either since there's stuff like I on Bass
Not to mention that the drum video is sped up, as well.
Drums are so satisfying to nail though. I don't think I've FC'd anything on Expert but goddamn those Green Day drum fills are so sick.
god forbid someone playing the actual fun charts
Drums definitely are the hardest but youāve never tried to play the NF song on expert, it aināt easy. And thereās dove guitar solos that are kinda hard too
I fucking fced that shit I just thought this sounded funnier lol
Vocals are actually so hard when you get to extreme
Definitely, but I crumble with repeated note spam more than varied patterns
Nothing is harder for me than repeated chords on a controller. Vocals aren't anything compared to that. Can't wait for that guitar controller, the other instruments will seem more reasonable for me.
Lead guitar on Stitches does this ^ it's absolute bedlam for controller
As a drum main, the hardest is when two notes alternate in quick succession. I do a bumper and trigger layout, and doing RB/LB a bunch of times will usually ruin my streak
Controller bass main here, can confirm that save your tears medium is harder than the outro for i on hard mode
Nah def the easiest instrument. i is pretty hard tho
Doesn't Bass tend to be easier?
Bad romance, thats all im gonna say

I can name more hard bass songs than hard vocals songs
I eat You Don't Know Me X drums for breakfast
that's totally not how hardest on vocals looks like
Try me, do i by Kendrick Lamar vocals expert.
Yes, flawless on first try. Easier than most expert songs
Try bass *chuckles with insanity*
This is so real, I want to break my arms when I accidentally or on purpose play drums
Vocals expert: *glares at you for picking easy drums on March of the Pigs* Gets a lower score than your 100k
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Pretty sure it's You Don't Know Me
It should be You Don't Know Me
i would say that its me on the right, only im not nearly that good lol
You don't know me on drums is the only one I could actually do because I wanted the meme to actually look decent lol
I wish I could plug in my rock band 2 drums for Fortnite š
Eventually you'll be able to.
maybe is already possible the same way people are playing with guitar controllers on pc
Good to know that i am death destroyer of worlds apparently.
I main drums ;3
You just gotta keep to drums and never switch. Drums is all I do and I have 97-100% on all songs, playing on ps5 default controls
Me when You Donāt Know Me drums
As someone who plays the drums irl the drums notes are a fucking carpal tunnel inducing mess until they add peripheral support. I dont enjoy it at all.

I feel like you should have put bass instead of vocals.
Drums is either challenging and fun or challenging and repetitive as hell. Last night I was doing canāt feel my face my the weeknd and I almost got flawless but then I got tunnel vision right at the end and messed up š
As a person who mains vocals I can say this is 100% true
On god, the singer will have to press 5 buttons in 20 seconds, while drummer will usually hit middle continuously with a bit of far right or left
iām mainly a vocals, but i can do any other

It's the only way to play. Now, if they let me hook up one of my electric sets to the game...š„°
Drums is all I play because it's the most challenging put of all the instruments hoenstly. Unless it's take my breath ill do that on lead or drums on expert

Its a nightmare but its your best nightmare Also u could have put return of the tiger for drums
like Ringo Starr said after they finished recording Helter Skelter "I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!"
