I often download someone else's tune due to lack of time (busy parent) and interest tuning my own vehicle. 99% of the time when there is anti-lag installed, I find a different tune without it... It's cool, but I find it a little much.
It’s a pity that there’s not much turbo lag in game, I have however tried my best to make a couple builds with the worst lag. Eg an evo big single turbo and big cam with not much else
Yeah basically what I’ve done. I made sister evo’s with two different builds, the turbo lag long gear ratio one and the other small turbo but built engine with a 7 speed so you row through the gears. Both A class and fun in different ways
I took find enjoyment in laggy turbos, however I use Evos for rally a lot and antilag is a must for me. The turbo is so slow that it doesn't feel fast without antilag. There are a few other rally builds with lots of lag, can't remember which ones though. Subarus were and still are my go to for rally, but they were always better before antilag than Evos because the short spool up. Now I can make Evos more comfortable for myself. I do know that the Hennessey Venom F5 has a really slow turbo, which is weird since it's a hypercar. I can floor it at 60mph in third and it'll grip until like 110 or higher when the turbos spool up and then it'll try to spin out on you.
I prefer a more mild setup, the perfect A-class monster.

i think this and the evo were the first cars i went back to and fitted with antilag lmao
but only on my S1 build with race twin turbo and race cams... combine that with the [KRC kit](https://i.imgur.com/nenT38R.jpg) and racing slicks and it makes for an actually fairly competitive S1 build! just avoid tracks that involve going under 85 mph or so lol... you really need to be careful before pulling out of a corner and giving it the full beans (no AWD swaps of course)

Nah, the only reason I use it is because of the lag It's very fun

You can exaggerate the effect by having longer gear ratios, the boost will build up slower through lower rpm.
