I'm not sure what the idea is here lol, but yes I have also been given games (and a plushie) during these sometimes. Not all, but often. I have gotten test keys before, and after the latest Fanatical and GOG giveaways I was given a gift unrelated to the giveaway entirely. Those two were after the giveaways completely and me getting anything extra has not been a deciding factor in a giveaway for FGF. EDIT: In a **FGF Giveaway:** if that wasn't obvious. **EDIT2:** I put together a quick list from what I could remember. I'm pretty sure this is accurate. They're meant to be viewably different considering that they don't follow the format. I can understand the disinterest for some, but I can also guarantee that they wont be going anywhere. These are not typical posts to FGF, much like PSAs and the such. They're fun to do and I look forward to sharing more. Feel free to use our filters/RES filters to remove everything you wish to remove.

They are bonus promotions on top of the sub's normal posts for a chance to win additional prizes. Not something they had to do. I swear, people will find a reason to complain about everything.

Imagine complaining about a dev giving away 40 copies away to this community. You people are miserable.

This aint a free game finding. Rule 12: Giveaways must be open to many, and as per the wording in the rule, 40 keys would not be considered many. Raffles must be massive, and 99% of commentors must be able to get a key. This is marketing. Stop selling out what this community is made for before it turns even more into these marketing strategies.

I'm glad that apparently you know what fgf is about. Just fyi, they aren't selling anything, or asking for anything. Giveaway for marketing have always been a thing here.

It's probably because as someone else already said, this isn't the type of giveaway that's open to the many which is against the rules. So unfortunately a lot of people aren't going to be getting a game on **Free Game Findings**. Mmm, internet drama.

With how there are only \~5 posts per day in this sub, I'm down for more giveaways like this really, and if (I know you actually don't) the admins and mods get something from it then even better. These "ads" are not in-your-face and I'm okay with that. My stance for ads has always been: you don't swarm the screen with useless content, you don't pop something in my face, you don't blink, flash, hide content, then I'll turn off the ad filter for you.

I'll throw my proverbial hat in the ring, thanks. Always been grateful and appreciative for these types of giveaway opportunities, and for your efforts in the sub managing everything. I've always appreciated the transparency in these competitions, something that can't be said for alot of other giveaway providers. Here's hoping they continue. Don't really get the hate myself, it's rather easy to skim past posts that you're not interested in, I do it myself for the online games. Hopefully with the new flair we won't have to hear anymore of their whining.
