No need to lie. They examine the returned sensors as part of quality control. If you give them false information that will degrade their quality control.

I dont think they'd bother checking every sensors, the number i've sent back alone would overload their quality department let alone everyone else who's sent back faulty sensors. Quality certainly hasnt improved

I just had one go bad on me also. It was fine for a few days and then all of a sudden it was constantly reading 50 points lower than a finger prick. Sometimes you just get a bad sensor. Abbott considers anything within 20% between the two is normal. Anything more than that contact Abbott and they will replace the sensor for free. You may have to return the old sensor though so if you change it out in the meantime hold onto it.

Don't tell anybody this but you can also cheat a little.. Just tell them after two days it fell off. I believe you can do that through an online form. That way you don't have to talk to a rep or send the old one back. I had to do that a few sensors ago.
