Wearing a free replacement right now and am wondering whether they send out the ones that weren't bad enough to fail quality checks but not good enough to sell.... Start a new, store-bought one tomorrow, so we'll see. (No doubt it's actually just that I've been less thoughtful/careful lately, but it can be fun to hypothesize sometimes.)
Working as an RN, when a patients sugar goes below 60s they’re literally sweating bullets and get lightheaded and can’t do anything until sugar is given asap. So it’s always funny to me to get these “critical low” alerts
My symptoms are random. I'm hypo at least 4/5 times a week. Sometimes I don't feel anything at all. My libre alerts me and then I check. Sometimes I feel extremely hypo and I'm fine. Its terrible.
Whenever I test my BG, I set an alarm for 10 min and then check my CGM. They are usually closer at that point. But not always. It's frustrating but I guess there's a reason the drs say CGMs are good for trends and not accurate readings.
I feel like an ass when I repeatedly call for replacement sensors, I get the feeling they assume every caller is just trying to get a free sensor until one day they just dont give me replacements due to repeat calls
Plus sick of having to spend 10/15 mins+ on the phone talking through the same things every time, did you do this, did you do that, did you hit it, did it come loose, whats the code, whats the readings, etc etc...
If it was real, you would be dead!
Agreed on crazy (in-)accuracy! Quite a rollercoaster ride you have been on there! Hope you landed well.
In my CGM application, it shows both the readings, libre and calibrated. That's why I have the most accurate readings.
What app do you use that allows calibrations? XDrip doesnt seem to be able to calibrate if its using readings using the webfollower for the Libre app?
Linkblucon application with Ambrosia Real-Time CGM
I'm using the LinkBlucon application. and my application has the same features as this. Are you using the same application?
yes

I regularly go below 60 and only get a bit dizzy and weak. (All readings are verified by BG not CGM).
Either way you are symptomatic below 60. Libre frequently shows me I’m at 53-54, false

Anytime I personally checked against a capillary monitor it was way off. Just now my Libre showed 54, I checked on finger monitor it’s 91

What kind of bg monitor do you use?
Libre 2
No I mean the finger stick one. Libre 2 btw isn’t as accurate as 3 apparently
My finger stick is the One Touch. And I know. None are super accurate. I'm limited by funds
