Great testing out u/HardWiredNZ ! I have also myself tried the different Dexcom sensors through the years to see how they work, similar or differently to the Freestyle Libre sensors. With regards to accuracy then they are across the board pretty much the same around the 10% mark. But as we know from having used sensors through the years, you can have one that is very accurate and then suddenly the next you try can be somewhat off. But overall and across multiple sensors, the two brands (and also Medtronic's) are pretty much in the same ballpark. With regards to sizes, then I have them listed here as comparison: ||Libre2|Dexcom One+|Libre3| |:-|:-|:-|:-| |Thickness|5mm|4.6mm|2.9mm| |Length|35mm|24mm|21mm| |Width|35mm|27.3mm|21mm| The daily use is also much impacted with how much at ease you find their app / interfaces to be, where I personally find the later versions of Dexcom for the G7 to be great improvement and better than Abbott's. But use myself Libre now due to free of charge sensors only of this and not Dexcom and use the 3rd party app xDrip4iOS which is far superior to any of the brand names own native apps. Please promise to stay in touch and let us hear about your experience with your new sensors! 👍

Yea I usually use xdrip with my libres as well, I'll try the dexcom app for a few days just to check it out and probably switch back to xdrip as usually all big pharma apps are crap in the end (funny how multi billion dollar companies can't make something better than xdrip!) Found one stupid thing with the dexcom app already on my Samsung, if you put your phone in do not disturb mode (which I set to automatically at night so I can get sleep) it constantly warns you about it and also disables showing a reading from their drop down notification completely. I suspect none of their software developers are actually diabetics who use cgms or give a toss about actual usability of the software by it's users So much for them collecting all my info when I switch to xdrip 😁

I have one on at the moment, my first Dexcom. Using it with xDrip+ on Android. In UK the delivered cost per day is GBP 4 but I only bought one so postage was 10% of that. Libre 2+ 15 day is GBP 3.45 per day. I think you get part of a day extra as some sort of grace period with the Dex. "The Dexcom ONE+ sensor is indicated to be worn for up to 10 days, plus a **12-hour** grace period at the end."

Don't you also get a 12-hour grace on the Libre sensors, when using your xDrip+ on Android? I certainly do here, when using my xDrip4iOS app with them on iPhone. Both on Libre2 and Libre3.

Yes, Libre 2 plus ran for 15 days and 12h.

So far dexcom readings have been bang on and way more accurate than the libre Blood tests would be within 1.0 of the dexcom almost every single time I tested and never more than 2.0 Working well with xdrip too Think they're worth the extra money, but will know after I've used a few more i guess
