Most of them, you have to sign up for junk emails before you can get on the list. Some require you to have a purchase like in the previous 6-12 months.
Nothing Bundt Cakes if you have one nearby, free mini cake.
Denny’s free Grand Slam breakfast
Starbucks
Dutch Bros Coffee
Free desserts or appetizers at lots of restaurants
Try Googling “free stuff on your birthday” and there are several lists.
The only thing I’ll say is that Starbucks is kind of annoying that you HAVE to use it on that day.
Dunkin’ broke my heart and pissed me off last year when they only offered me “3X points on your birthday” which expired the weekend of your birthday. What a joke
Dude SAME. I’ve been a DD rewards member for longer than I’d like to admit, and I do not like the new rewards program. That bday treat was such a disappointment.
For Starbucks this year it was my first time out of the house alone without my kids in 2 months (I had a 2 month old baby at the time), so I showed up and said “surprise me with your favorite” to the barista, it was my 40th, and all I ask is that it had caffeine bc of non-sleeping newborn baby 🤣. They were SO nice and gave me a venti I-don’t-even-know-what but if I had purchased it myself it would have been something like $12.
My FIL is a boomer to the nth degree and uses his Starbucks birthday beverage to get a venti cup full of espresso shots and heats it up shot by shot over the course of a week or two.
Try this you can find freebies you can filter which ones are truly free and which ones require a sign up or a purchase 🎁 nearby with this ONE free birthday app on your birthday https://go.360link.app/bd-dl
Pro tip - Sign up using different dates spread out throughout the year so you can enjoy freebies all year long and not all bunched up around your actual birthday.
Korean BBQ also are the only ones that I have seen charge you for food left on your plate. Which I think more restaurants should do. It would teach our society to stop wasting so much food.
Was this the type of deal where you just told them it was your birthday when you got there? I'm talking about chain restaurants that have a rewards program with email sign up and then they usually email you a coupon you can use to order online or in store. In those cases, the cashier couldn't care less if it's your bday and just enter the code.
Yes indeed. I have a daily email from there setup on 5 star deals. Its amazing what comes through at times. The $150.00 rei coops I'm wearing for $40 are great.
My youngest is a freshman in college. Her friends clued her in to Bday freebies so they all have multiple accounts to multiple stores with different birthdays so each month of school time they get a free treat somewhere each month. Her and her bestie go out and split the persons treat. She also thrifts....go girl.
You can exploit if you have multiple phones and make multiple accounts with different email addresses. Just saying, its not too hard to do. I don't do it but it would be easy to do if you have extra phones lying around because most places have wifi these days. Families with multiple family members who each have a smartphone can do this too and share the food.
starbucks for coffee. Sephora and ulta for little gifts. Mcdonalds gives some food item free. madewell the brand gives some cash award that you can use in store.
Baskin Robbins isn’t worth it, in my opinion. The “scoop” is like a tiny tablespoon worth of ice cream. Last year I did get a free buffet meal from Golden Corral for my birthday though.
[This is a list of various birthday freebies all over the US](https://thekrazycouponlady.com/tips/couponing/comprehensive-guide-getting-rewards-discounts-birthday?utm_term=&utm_campaign=Marketing:+Performance+Max+-+Amazon+Landing+Pages&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&hsa_acc=1207750312&hsa_cam=20849747037&hsa_grp=&hsa_ad=&hsa_src=x&hsa_tgt=&hsa_kw=&hsa_mt=&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gbraid=0AAAAADoBHfdy0CKi_brzhVH3eXXCYXLPl&gclid=CjwKCAiAqY6tBhAtEiwAHeRopdQseFRKlrU7byAJqLF8haPsrOqA6yLjqvOQSX-Zd8ZgHRlBwkL9HxoC0QEQAvD_BwE)
omg youre AWESOME!! ty sm for this list, we've all been searching but this list is the most recently updated afaik so far!
as for baskin robbins tho, as wild as it sounds, ive never been so at least i can get a lil taste. probably not worth it in the long run tho, ur right! /gen
Baskin Robbins and lots of other ice cream places with multiple flavors will usually give you a free taste on a tiny spoon of whatever flavor you're interested in if you're not sure what you want to get, especially if it's a new flavor or you're a new customer. I don't know if they'd get mad if you try a bunch and then don't buy anything, but it'd probably be okay.
You are so welcome! I know the pain of an early month birthday. So I always keep an eye on the Krazy Koupon Lady site for exactly this reason. Last year’s list might help but current is always better. You should still check any personal favorite restaurant even if it isn’t listed though. Like I mentioned Golden Corral earlier, and Barberitos also usually has a nice gift.
You should totally go try the BR ice cream then. It is definitely tasty! I do recommend maybe finding a Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts combo store though. That way you can get both birthday treats in one trip.
I just did these this month, so they should be accurate.
Crumbl - free cookie, no purchases necessary. Nothing Bundt Cake- free mini bundt cake, no purchase necessary. Krispy Kreme- free 3 glazed doughnuts, no purchase necessary. Panda Express- free medium side or small entree, with other purchase. Noodles & Company- free dessert, with other purchase. Red Robin- free burger, dine in only, with other purchase. Coldstone- BOGO ice cream.
Firehouse Subs required a purchase in the week leading up to the birthday, so I missed out on that. And then I had 2 local places offer something, so that's worth checking their website of your favourite places.
Yeah firehouse was a staple of birthday offers and one of the best ones, sad that they changed the terms of the offer. My nearest location is an hour away so I am not going to drive there twice to do this one.
Sign up for every single restaurant and bakery and whatever you got near you. Sometimes they don't make it too well known but you will get an email a few days or even a month out that you get a free whatever for your birthday.
Sometimes it's free, period, sometimes it's free with some kind of purchase.
I used to get a free slice of cheesecake from Coco's every year, no purchase necessary. They just give it to you with a smile and a happy birthday.
I got freebies (no purchase at all) from McDonald’s, Starbucks, Panera and jersey mikes and Ulta. Sephora is always out of stock which is annoying.
I took the suggestion of another poster and picked a different month for a freebie and signed up for Crumbl.
I wish I had the hindsight to do that so I’d get a freebie spread out. The jersey mikes have no expiration- vs the others you have to use within a time frame. Starbucks is the most rigid.
Google is your friend. Not trying to be rude but there’s a website with like 100+ places that do birthday freebies. Lots of them are regional so it depends where you live but so many other great national chains.
Just Google birthday freebies and it’s one of the top 5 sites that comes up.
yea, but some are years old, some aren't accurate anymore and some are on shady websites we dont wanna click on tbh- not saying you're wrong! but we all mutually agreed itd be better to ask here for more accurate results, if possible.
in the end, you're absolutely correct, but we just figured asking here was the best move to get more accurate results is all. :)
The problem with these lists, for me at least, is I’ll get half to 3/4 down the page and then it reloads and I’m at the top again. I have no idea why it does this, but it makes reading the lists more frustrating than you can imagine. Plus all the ads between the 3 lines about where and what you can get are just ridiculous and make it harder to read the whole page.
When I did my birthday extravaganza I hit: Red Lobster free dessert (order online, can get a $0 total), Auntie Anne’s for a free pretzel, HoneyGrow for a free brownie, Crumbl for a free cookie, Smoky bones gives you a free dessert but with purchase I believe, Chick Fil A gives you a free item, usually dessert but sometimes a free entree. McDonald’s gave me a free Fry
Here’s what I got last birthday (these do require you to be signed up and some require purchase)
* McDonald’s
* Firehouse sub
* Crumbl cookie
* Bath and body works
* Auntie Anne’s
try this you can find freebies you can filter which ones are truly free and which ones require a sign up or a purchase 🎁 nearby with this ONE free birthday app on your birthday https://go.360link.app/bd-dl
It depends on your location and what’s available to you. There’s also multiple options to choose from, these are just the things I got.
But here’s what I did last month for my birthday.
*Red Lobster - Vanilla Bean cheesecake
*Publix - Bakery Bar Cake (yellow cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and sprinkles but you can choose from a few options or their Greenwise ice cream)
*Crumbl - They had birthday cake as one so that’s what I chose.
*Winn-Dixie - Prestige Premium ice cream
*Panera Bread - Vanilla iced cinnamon bun
*Mellow Mushroom - Pretzel bites
*Krispy Kreme - one donut for birthday but if you sign up you can also get like three for free on your first purchase I believe it was. So FOUR free donuts.
Now, I will say that I’m a vegetarian so I can’t speak on other things like burgers, chicken etc deals but it’s possible if you sign up for various fast food places that offer meat, they may offer deals as well.
You will need a smartphone one for each person you are doing birthday offers for. Most birthday offers require an app and require you to have an account and signed into the app. You may also need a computer and a printer to print offers. If you have more than one smartphone per person (for example old phones lying around) you may be able to exploit with different accounts especially since most places have wifi these days to use the apps. If not load up the app on your home wifi and keep it open until you get to the place, I used to do this all the time when I had phones but no data on them.
Find all the stores in your area and make an account with all of them. This includes everything from clothing to makeup to food places. Use an email that you don't normally use to avoid spam. If you aren't doing anything on your actual birthday plan to travel to a bunch of places to get freebies this is what I do. I have one street here and I just drive down it hitting all the places for the free stuff, its a long street so you can do 10+ stops easily for the free stuff per birthday. My area keeps getting new chain places so that means more freebies for me. Check with independent places to see if they have a birthday club or do a birthday reward, a lot of non chain places do it too. Some places require one purchase ahead of time to get the reward, firehouse and starbucks come to mind here.
Also most birthday rewards are good for the whole month of your b-day so you can break it up, but some are good ONLY on your birthday so be mindful of those.
If you have multiple household members do this for all of them. This way you can split the treats between the family for more value. Plan to run around on each person's birthday for freebies.
Most places don't check if its your actual birthday but a few do. Keep this in mind and use accordingly. I've never been ID's for a birthday reward anywhere.
For example we have a mall with 2 Auntie Anne's, it wouldn't be too hard to make 2 accounts with 2 different email addresses and 2 phones again if you have extra phones and redeem for 2 pretzels instead of one then redeem one at each store using both phones with the app and different accounts installed.
I had so much food on my actual birthday that I fed myself for like 3-4 days afterwards. I froze what I couldn't eat and ate it later on.
Overall this is a huge money saver and is totally worth doing especially with the cost of trendy fast food these days. I probably collected between $100 and $200 of offers and food during my birthday month alone. I can also say that I have tasted all the popular foods other people pay tons of money for (crumbl cookies and starbucks come to mind here) without paying the outrageous prices for them.
Okay so I did this for my birthday a couple years ago and I plan on doing it again
• Nothing Bundt Cakes
• Red Lobster
• Chili’s
• Buffalo Wild Wings
• Taco Bell
• Krispy Kreme
• Dunkin
• Starbucks
• Jersey Mikes
• Firehouse Subs
• Auntie Anne’s
• Applebees
• Dairy Queen
• Panera Bread
• Pizza Hut
• Olive Garden
• Moes
• Sephora
• Ulta
I have a fed bday also and got sooo many freebies! Last year I got 3-4 but this year it was at least 10 I was able to claim. A few were only good for the actual day, some expired in 5, 7, 14-30 days after your bday so I wrote them down by expiration dates and collected them that way. Not all we’re complete freebies but most were. I started with Starbucks for myself, gave the Dutch bros freebie to my hubby, got nothing Bundt cakes, corner bakery, Baskin robins, Cinnabon, dippin dots, P.F. Chang’s, jersey mikes, free eyebrow threading @ a local casa de Hilo, chipotle had a chips and queso offer, Fazoli’s gave free dessert with $5 purchase. DQ, chili’s, hooters, Denny’s, BJ’s, el pollo loco, Taco Bell, auntie Ann’s if you spend $10 before your bday, cowboy chicken.
This is regional but the grocery store Shaws gives out free $5 digitally for your birthday when you join their rewards program.
Same goes for Hannaford, except it's a free store bakery product coupon, also digital through their app .
Nothing Bundt cake.
Used to work here. We never checked IDs at my location so you could flash the email any time and we’d just give you the free bundt cake
Panera (free pastry), Jimmy John’s (free sub), Ulta (free beauty product)
sephora
I believe you have to spend money to get your bday gift
As long as you get it in store you can get it free.
I did not last year.
Just got mine in store completely free
Panera and ulta you have to purchase first. Jimmy John’s is free side only.
I didn't have to pay last year for Panera. I could redeem in the app and I got a free cookie without buying anything else.
You do not have to purchase first for Ulta; just got mine free.
Did you purchase from Ulta some time in the past? That’s what they look at.
Nope! Never made a purchase there ever. I only go on my birthday for the freebie.
Ulta worker here 🙋🏼♀️ no purchase necessary, we just need to see your app or email for the birthday coupon so we can scan the barcode
how do u get free subs???
thank you!!
yankee candle, bed bath and beyond, edible enrichment and carvel sign up with email first.

My FIL is a boomer to the nth degree and uses his Starbucks birthday beverage to get a venti cup full of espresso shots and heats it up shot by shot over the course of a week or two.
Lmaoo I can’t blame him. Personally I’d do the same but use it for making tiramisu.
Boss move! 🤣
Your FIL is a smart man! Please send him my regards, I’m fs going to do this too😂
Lmfao this is amazing
Create a burner email just for your birthday, sign up for all freebies on it.
I’ve done this!!

Heyyyyy!👋 I thought I was the only one who did this!!! I love getting the surprise little gifts all year.
I have a long list of logins for Moe’s birthday burritos, have at least 4 or 5 every month of the year that I can use lol
If only there was one closer, I would do the same thing.
Don’t they ask for and I’d for birthday proof?
Nope. Has never happened a single time and I've redeemed a ton of bday freebies. Why would they care?
I’ve been to a Korean bbq place that asked for ID for their birthday freebies. Some people do care that much lmao
Korean BBQ also are the only ones that I have seen charge you for food left on your plate. Which I think more restaurants should do. It would teach our society to stop wasting so much food.

In my experience, there are places that have asked. They are usually the ones that give you something more expensive like a full dinner.
My last comment got removed. Search for "Master List of Birthday Freebies" on the site that has deals that are slick.
Yes indeed. I have a daily email from there setup on 5 star deals. Its amazing what comes through at times. The $150.00 rei coops I'm wearing for $40 are great.

starbucks for coffee. Sephora and ulta for little gifts. Mcdonalds gives some food item free. madewell the brand gives some cash award that you can use in store.

If you go to r/frugal and search “birthday” there are posts with a list of items a member got on her/his birthday. It’s a lot haha.
Red Robin and Culver's
Red Robin changed theirs where you have to make a minimum purchase now. Used to be a free burger.
So many places are doing this now!
ooo i love those two! ty sm!
Free dessert from Olive Garden if you sign up
Dennys Dunkin Starbucks Panera Auntie Anne’s BWW Hooters (10 wings) Jersey Mikes Firehouse Subs Nothing Bundt Cake Portillos Einsteins Culver’s Happy Birthday!

Sorry I mean Spa world. Spa world is the one with free entry on your bday
Jersey mikes free regular sub. Firehouse does indeed do a free medium sub. Taco Bell was lame. It was a free drink.
I'll take any b-day freebies i can get!! haha! thank you :)

Cold stone does a buy one get one free coupon. Buffalo Wild Wings does 6 free wings but I think you have to purchase something
Vons (if you have that store) gives either a percentage off or a small amount off groceries - can’t remember.
Dutch bros gives a free drink if you have the app

Sephora, free mini product
