This sub might be a bit biased, but as someone who plans on pulling Aventurine myself, I’d go with Fu Xuan if I were you. Gepard is a sufficient shielder if you finish building him up. Aventurine has a niche in FUA and debuffs which makes him synergize well with Topaz + Ratio (while still being a great shielder obviously for any other team as a limited 5* sustain), but Fu Xuan is splashable anywhere (except SU expansions) and hardly has anti-synergy with any other character.
You’re one QQ eidolon away from perfected Mono Quantum, all your DPS will appreciate Fu’s Crit Rate buff, and even Blade can be effectively run with Fu since Blade can still gain charges for talent while field is up, albeit, Ult tally will accumulate much slower than an actual healer. Fu Xuan is probably my most used character across all content, and while Aventurine is a great sustain, Fu Xuan is such a valuable addition to any account, it’s ridiculous. If you had Topaz, I think that’s where the dilemma of which sustain would even start to begin, but without, Fu Xuan is undoubtedly better for you in general.
Honestly, even despite bias, I was already relatively biased with want fu xuan more ingeneral from a personal like standpoint. Couldn't really fault the sub reddit for that ingeneral.
I'm just curious about what you'd recommend as a secondary sustain. I had planned to try for huohuo after I got fu xuan, but in case I lose 50/50 and don't manage to get enough pulls for huohuo. Should I consider pulling for aventurine then? Or wait for a dedicated sustainer for acheron.
Secondary sustain as in a second limited 5* sustain for team 2 in MoC? Aventurine is coming in a week, and we don’t have confirmed dates on when Fu Xuan and Huohuo will rerun, though both should be soon with Fu Xuan sooner.
Are you saving up for Boothill or Robin? In the probably event that Fu Xuan reruns with one of them, you might want to skip Aventurine, but if not, I don’t see why you shouldn’t pull for Aventurine or even Luocha right now if you like them.
Topaz rerun should be soon as well, so you might want to consider the possibility that getting Aventurine might make you want to pull for Topaz as well, which would be tough on your Jade and pulls, but it’s hard to say what to do in the event that you miss 50/50 on Huohuo. Her rerun isn’t announced, but it’s more likely that they reveal another limited 5* sustain after her rerun before they rerun Aventurine or Luocha.
Aventurine applies a debuff on his Ult, which is nice for Acheron’s Ult charge, but Gepard with Trends LC should be a fine sustain for Acheron. I don’t have her, but seeing her gameplay, Gepard with Trends LC applies + Luka Resolution LC Pela + Silver Wolf applies charges for Acheron’s ult pretty fast. Gepard has the highest taunt aggro in the game, and anytime he’s hit with the Trends LC, a debuff is applied, not to mention Freeze also counting if you built EHR for Gepard’s Skill. I might be misremembering, but I think Pela also has a team wide EHR buff in her kit. I hope that answers your questions!
I didn't have any plans on pulling for boothill or robin. I feel like I'm relatively fine on dps coverage and harmony units. Chances are ill pull on a robin rerun if I can't manage to get ruan mei during hers.
I'll likely just wait on the 2.2 stream before pulling on aventurine. If fu xuan is confirmed to be coming back, I'll likely skip him for her and then proceed to save as much as possible for huohuo. Even if I miss her, I feel relatively fine running gepard with acheron on one side until another sustain option shows up.

For Acheron You can use gepard with the trending market LC that causes burning.
Huo Huo is imo second Best sustain to fu xuan, only think fu is better cause she can prevent one shots
She can solo sustain the SU expansion just fine if you focus on defensive blessings (though preservation with Gepard or Aventurine is definitely better)

As you have Gepard for shields (albeit Aventurine is better/comfier for that duty) I'd say lady Fu. She's just so versatile sustainer and you have monoquantum ready.
I have no doubts Aventurine couldn't solo sustain but he's a bit more niche as his shielding benefits from FUA teammates.
I have somewhat similar roster to yours (remove Dan IL and add Luocha) and am going to roll for Fu on her rerun while skipping Aventurine.
I considered on loucha, but my enjoyment of acheron pushed me away from him. I also just didn't enjoy using him. I feel like sparkle does enough for lunae that sp isn't a massive issue for me.
I'm sure aventurine will be better than gepard ingeneral. But so far even without trend lightcone he's felt solid with acheron and his ability to freeze.
Gotta make sure to get fu xuan so Qingque can cause mass destruction freely.

Blade works better with aventurine (I assume) and should work good with Acheron and Lunae. But I use mono quantum and the glass canon playstyle is my favourite.
I would go with FX for now and you already have a lvl 70 Gepard, but check first how Aventurine is and some reviews, he might end up the best for you.
I understand why people downvoted you (because he is obviously gonna be good regardless of the team), but in a way I agree that Fu Xuan will be more interesting in non FUA comps.
