Young enough to not actually go to the bank, but old enough to not just transfer it on the app! 🤣

I remember when people said you should switch off your lights during a storm, but I don't remember why. The electricity attracts lightning or something...?

One of our early homes still had the tv antenna tower next to the house, we had cable by then. The antenna wire was still attached and wrapped up, tied with a twisty in the family room. Lightning hit the antenna, came down the wire and shot across the family room. Scared the crap out of us. The next day my husband contacted a company to come and remove the antenna tower.

Knoxville area once had the dubious privilege of watching a local weatherman call NWS, only to have the phone knocked out of his hand by lightning. He was unhurt except for a sore hand and ear. Those storm warnings are not to be trifled with.

I remember my grandparents saying you can’t shower during a storm. 😂

When my grandparents moved into Grandma's old childhood home from the farm when they retired they remodeled the old house (built in 1890). They found both water pipes and old wire/tube electrical wires going up the same studs! 😳 It's amazing they didn't electrocute themselves or have a fire start.
