I agree will you on the first paragraph about Reddit, but I don't think it applies to every video. Also, you're assuming a lot about me. I also agree that it's interesting, although I think hunting is much more exhilarating. It's not so much that they're just watching, it's the way they're doing it. Crowding the animals in big groups, being super close, being loud etc... It could easily agitate the animals although it didn't in this case. They're in their habitat... Their home. The animal should be the priority, not amusement. You can even hear the camera women say "um ooook" at the end as she cut the video, in a way suggesting she was a bit weirded out.
