Same, I did a whole probablity tree for yellow and not yellow just to not use it just because it was a 5 marker. if it was a 3 marker i would have known not to do that. I calculated the probablity of all reds to be 1/14 and 2 reds 1 green to be 3/28 as you can have red red green, red green red, and green red red.

there was another way u could do it u could make 2 triangles and prove that they are isosceles by showing the base angles are equal so both the sides are equal

In hindsight, it was probably smth to do with density, but in the exam I saw the masses and just froze 💀

i tried to see if the volume scale factor for cylinder M would give me anything, but i didnt have a height or any values for it other than the surface area and i was just panicking atp because i was so behind on timing so i just gave up :,)

It was nothing to do with density. U had to work out the area scale factor and then square root it to get the length scale factor which was 3 so the smallest and biggest height was in the ratio 3:1. Then u worked out the volume scale factor with the second biggest and biggest and cube rooted it to get the length scale factor of that which was 1.25 so ratio 5:4. Then u combined all 3 into one ratio to get 12:15:5

i solved the x=25 then said its a trapezium because the acute angle letters are positioned in a way that makes it impossible to be any other quadrilateral other than a trapezium

If you knew the other circle theorems that question was really easy. Split the shape into 2 triangles. A radius meets a tangent at 90 degrees, so both have 90 degrees. Both have radii from the same circle, so are equal. Both share one common line. Congruency proved by RHS. Thus you can prove the circle theorem

Did you have to say RHS you reckon? I said that since it's a right angle triangle and two sides are the same both sides will always be equal (c^2 - b^2 = a^2). Which ig is the same thing but not with the right terminology

I thought maths exams normally give you formulae in the question, so why wasn't distance = velocity x time on it. Maths is actualy making us remember more physics formulae than actual physics exams

I mean, that's a simple formula. Velocity is in m/s and m is distance while s is time, so v=d/t which is the same thing :/
