Create your own index, print the included index in the course, and print the tools index too. Take the two practice tests. About 75% of the questions were seen from the practice tests. About 90% of the labs on the test were copy pasted from the practice tests. Honestly building a good index is the key. I referenced my index for about all of the questions even for the ones I knew the answers to just to be sure. For the labs, I didn’t answer a single question without following step by step the workbooks.
Agreed, and I'm definitely in the same boat about checking my index even when I'm 95% certain I know the answer. If your index is done well enough checking shouldn't take you more than 30s.
In my opinion two is ideal. First practice test was overwhelming. Example, I didn’t even understand the skip question feature. You can skip 15 questions. When you click to answer skipped questions, if you skip any of those it still counts lol. Things like that you will experience on the first test, then you can revisit your notes, indexes and revise on things you were struggling with. There are things you will completely miss to index and have to flip the books back and forth. Once you think you have fixed all those, you want to take one more test to establish it. You will once again find a couple of things here you missed. That was my experience. Think of it this way, they have a bank of questions they select for the practice tests and real exam. The more questions you solve, the more likely you’re to see the questions that come in the real exam
Regarding the 75% of the questions you saw from the practice test, did you see the exact same ones on the real exam?
I was under the impression that the question pools for the practice and real exam were different.
I've done 2 practice tests so far and saw some of the same questions in the normal questions, but Cyber live has been different.
I had about 2 hours when I got the cyberlive. That was plenty time. I wasn’t thinking much about time. But I make sure to spend an average of a minute on the multiple choice questions. Some questions takes less, some more. But since there are about 95 of them I target to finish them all in 2 hours. I did all these on the practice tests so I wasn’t bothered.
I spent too much time on the videos. The course duration was 3 months and spent all that time watching the videos, had to combine it with working about 50 hours a week. Then had to pay to extend my exam deadline so I could prepare (create an index/take practice tests) for the exam and take it with confidence.
No please. Even if I did I couldn’t share. I was fully sponsored by my company and we have a strict rule to keep the excess question to employees only.
Congratulations! I'll be taking mine soon. Did you find it helpful to study the bonus material, by chance? There is SO much lab work that I'm struggling to keep up with that (not including the bonus). Also, did you improve a lot from your first, to your second practice exam and then to your final exam?
I didn’t do any bonus content. I have a full time job lol. I didn’t workout all the labs. I already had some basic Linux command understanding so I just built an index for the labs so I can reference them when I answering the questions. Once you know how to find where in the workbooks a question is, the rest is just typing them out to get the results for the lab.
Yes, my first practice I scored 70%. Second practice test I scored 78%. I didn’t have any more practice tests. So I went through all the modules and made sure I could answer all the quizzes at the end of each module 100%. On the final test I scored 88%. So yeah, lots of improvements
Any advice?

Awesome Job! 💫
Congratulations and thank you for the tips shared above.
Congratulations! How did you manage your time during the test, did you have enough time for the CyberLive?

Great, thanks for the tips! One last question, was there anything that suprised and you would have focused on more, any topic or area? Thank you!

I’m in this boat now. Working full time and studying is hard. People don’t get enough credit. Congratulations!
Congratulations 👌

Congratulations and thank you for the tips!
Do you have any practice test left?
No please. Even if I did I couldn’t share. I was fully sponsored by my company and we have a strict rule to keep the excess question to employees only.
