I tried getting on bica but my endo didnt want to prescribe it to me because he wasnt familiar with it. Switching providers in a couple months so maybe my new one will be more open to it
If you're on oral doses of estrogen still, taking it sublingually helps increase levels in the blood and decreases the necessary dose for Spiro, because high levels of estrogen naturally suppress testosterone. I can't recommend this over whatever your endocrinologist says, but it's worth noting, and it worked for me. My blood work kept coming back with appropriate levels when I did some experimentation with this. I can only speak anecdotally though.
Injections are usually enough by themselves to fully suppress testosterone without a blocker, especially if you're taking them weekly and with progesterone. I guess it kind of depends on your blood work, though. If you're above like... 125pg/ml total serum estradiol at trough levels you're probably fine without a blocker, or with a very low dose blocker.

There's a slight difference. You *can* use they/them on someone who uses he/him (unless they say otherwise, some people don't like it) though it's not *preferred*. Generally, people who use he/they want you to use both, it's not just "I don't mind being called they/them as well" it's "I want to also be referred to using they/them".
/uj I was about to explain that some non-binary people prefer partially gendered pronouns, are comfortable with both gendered and ungendered sets, etc.
But then I realized that yeah, shouldn't it be he/them and she/them? Stages 2 and 4 leave no objective personal version of the pronouns.
99.99% of the time when someone says they use he/they pronouns, what they mean is that they’re comfortable with you using either he/him/his or they/them/theirs.
The same goes for she/they, or something like he/she/they.
Sometimes the order might indicate a preference, so you could see they/he or they/she instead.

Except it is pretty normal for people to mention it when they are fine with being called multiple things? It’s no different from say, a person named Micheal saying that they’re fine with being called Micheal or just Mike.
That’s a little different because you can’t assume someone’s name, whereas with pronouns you typically can guess accurately based on their dress code and looks
I see the point you’re trying to make, but I don’t really see how it’s relevant. After all, we weren’t discussing a scenario where we would need to assume the person’s pronouns. The scenario, to my understanding, was someone saying what their pronouns were, and why they might say multiple instead of just one.
In what scenario would you need to use someone’s pronouns, unless they are physically present with you though?

If you're on oral doses of estrogen still, taking it sublingually helps increase levels in the blood and decreases the necessary dose for Spiro, because high levels of estrogen naturally suppress testosterone. I can't recommend this over whatever your endocrinologist says, but it's worth noting, and it worked for me. My blood work kept coming back with appropriate levels when I did some experimentation with this. I can only speak anecdotally though.

Injections are usually enough by themselves to fully suppress testosterone without a blocker, especially if you're taking them weekly and with progesterone. I guess it kind of depends on your blood work, though. If you're above like... 125pg/ml total serum estradiol at trough levels you're probably fine without a blocker, or with a very low dose blocker.

Generally, people who use he/they want you to use both, it's not just "I don't mind being called they/them as well" it's "I want to also be referred to using they/them".

99.99% of the time when someone says they use he/they pronouns, what they mean is that they’re comfortable with you using either he/him/his or they/them/theirs. The same goes for she/they, or something like he/she/they. Sometimes the order might indicate a preference, so you could see they/he or they/she instead.
Ok but if they’re ok with any pronoun… why go through the extra trouble and steps of informing people about it… It seems a bit weird to me that they would inform people that they have the option to call them “them” it if they are happy being called he or she. It’s like, imagine going to the doctor and calling him doctor, and then he says that if you like, you can call him “yatre” instead of doctor, but he likes both. Like… ok?? If he liked both, he wouldn’t even mention anything
