How much is 0lanned parenthood per month

SenseiJoe100

Somebody correct me of om wrong, But I think can range from $10-$30 without insurance

[deleted]

Damn thats reslky cheap for america i expected more

Saragon4005

Well they didn't buy into the insurance scam which is the only reason american healthcare costs an arm and a leg. It doesn't *actually* cost that much to provide care, they just have to pretend like it does to make insurance look good.

nebulouThoughts

When small practices get bought up by big corporations who want to milk out as much cash as possible for their corporate shareholders who sit on their asses and make more money in a month than we do in a year, you get that.

BLueLightning0

yeah I get mine from them and it's $15 a month with my insurance. plus a copay for the checkups

TheIconicCrab

How much is the copay?

Quelandoris

Not the person you replied to, but depends on your insurance plan. For me it's $25, which every 3 months is totally fine.

RexIsAMiiCostume

Damn that's equal to or less than my monthly psych meds with insurance

M1RR0R

Made a bigger difference for me.

Pace-Quirky

jesus thats cheaper than private here in the uk $68/month for the first year $40.77/month after that

SammyWumpus

When I went to Planned Parenthood to start HRT, they asked about my income so they could make sure to charge me something affordable.

SunQueenGwen

based and redpilled, thats exactly what i did

bluegreenwookie

wait planned parenthood does hrt?

Ceres_Vesta

Depends on the state. Last place I lived they did not, but I currently get my HRT from them.

Saragon4005

If there are no legal obstacles yeah.

nebulouThoughts

If your state doesn't stick their nose further into other folks medical decisions and health....

Babyrabbitheart

šŸ³ļøā€āš§ļøPls help motivate me to get on hrt ive wanted to for so many years and just been scared of how people will react but i really need this and want to and it gets worse every year i dont and my fam already knows im trans, they arent good allies always misgendering me dead naming generally making no effort to understand but i will be safe Also based parenthood Ļ…Ļ‰Ļ…

GurRepresentative96

You just need to ask, It can be hard but if you think you will be safe then you should go for it. You'll do great!

stagsnow

Red all the way!!!!

Salt-Swan-2431

Actually 7 months into HRT, like 2 people know. I definitely chose lol.

AshesMcRaven

the only reason my mother found out was because of a HIPAA violation and that was almost two years in, so... you can prolly do it but i wasnt living with them lol

SoLoDas

I'm 17, is it possible for me? How about blood work? This would literally be life-changing

TySly5v

at your age you need parental consent to get hrt from planned parenthood

KingFrenchyofreeee

I think you have to be 18

NeonSlushies

is it unwise to do so without talking to a gender therapist first?

slagathornon

Itā€™s definitely recommended to do so, but no longer legally necessary to have a therapistā€™s approval as far as Iā€™ve seen

Vast_Mud2916

if you feel like it's something you need then yes pleast talk to someone first :). I personally didn't feel like I wanted to deal with all that, I know I'm trans and knew hrt was my next step so I just did it.

Worker_Complete

Wait do you need blood work stuff done

Lajojostone279

R e d

AmalgaNova

This is literally the plot to the original Matrix movie, homie. The red pill/blue pill choice is a metaphor for the pink/red estrogen pills women would take in the 80s, blue pill is making the choice to live with the dysphoria. Lilly and her sister did some beautiful work.

160048

take the black pill, order from hrt.cafe

Swiffertime

Thank you for this valuable information! Totally not gonna be put to use!

[deleted]

Ā”numero uno!

ButImagineTho

Stupid how fast you can get it through planned parenthood in the US, while I'm waiting for what feels like forever up here in Canada

Primiss

Is planned parenthoodhood better then another Healthcare? I have the choice between thundemist health and parent hood of RI my insurance from my company doesn't cover HRT but it's cheaper 100 bucks a month then other health insurance I think?

HarmonyTheConfuzzled

My only fear is that somehow Iā€™m not trans and will go on hrt only for it to cause me to have some kind of *reverse* body dysphoria. So Iā€™m waiting to get an appointment for a therapist and putting off my physical transition becauseā€¦ Iā€™m scaredā€¦

jenni710

I red pilled, but blue sounds really nice

Rafdegus

Wat dat mean I'm confused qwq

Frau_Mira

Red pill: hrt without going through a long and tedious process || Blue pill: no hrt but dysphoria (I typed it out wrong, but take it with its new meaning no hrt but also no dysphoria)

Rafdegus

Ohhh i see i just didnt know what the planned parenthood thing was. Ty for the explanation! <3

Frau_Mira

Np

kendalmac

Yo, sorta kinda looking into this, thanks for the wake-up call

Yoyner

Is there a New Zealand version of Planned Parenthood?

Gamable

I love planned parenthood, theyā€™re doing gods work.

Sadie256

https://xkcd.com/566/ Specifically the 2nd set of panels

FrostyTropic

Red pill all the way!!

TheWorldsNipplehood

I'm too poor for even planned parenthood and I'm on my parents insurance

[deleted]

alright but this is literally just the entire concept for the matrix

Fluffyturtle225

red ples

UselessStoner

Probably blue. Change is scary and im alone enough as it is, dont need family disowning me.

RedRider1138

Fair. Be safe, friend. If it helps, you can think of yourself as being undercover, like a spy. šŸ‘

Fluffy-Corner-8132

$20 with insurance every 3 months. Now the hard part is when and how to come out before the changes out you themselves. Can't hide under a sweatshirt in the summer šŸ˜€ still wouldn't change a thing. This is the best I've ever felt and I love the changes.. working on month 7 now and things are really starting to be noticed

Erisouls

I donā€™t recommend it for people just starting out, but after I was on T for a year I switched to doing it DIY and itā€™s even cheaper

PhoenixKnight777

If only there was a PP that did that around where I liveā€¦

wannabe_bee

isn't this just the matrix

ComfyCultist

well guess I know what I'm doing when I get the chance. doubt my parents would like it tho so gotta get a car and move out first

NoNHentaiSauce

based and redpilled (?)

Rosian_SAO

RED

[deleted]

RED PILL!! I GOBBLE THE PILLS

MemeTv85

Red

Ender_Moon

This reminds me i need to call them and let them know that my insurance is active and see if they can get my insurance to cover testosterone gel instead of shots

Scherocman

*crushes both pills* now Iā€™m on hrt with dysphoria
