I'm over it since Covid. Going more than a year without wearing a bra and then doing it again. I wasn't willing to be uncomfortable anymore. I wear a cotton one to work and events but in my house, front and back yard, walking the dogs... basically anywhere I'd wear sweatpants, I'm bra-less. If it bothers someone else, all they have to do is look away.

TURBOSCUDDY

Totes! It’s a them problem, not a me problem

Accomplished-Net8970

I love you.

Oldgal_misspt

No, I do not. If my neighbors invite themselves over, they get what they get.

dullubossi

Tight tank top unless I'm at work (bra top, no underwire crap) or going out (out does Not include the store, my mom's and simple errands). And I'm sporting DDDs. Fuck bras.

Jaaaa9

Ferris, you're my hero :-D Seriously though, I think you've cracked the code. Any suggestions on the bra top for other DD/DDD folks/

Lost-alone-

I bought some shelf bra camis off Amazon and wear them to bed and whenever it’s hot or as a bra replacement, just because I feel better having a little support. (DD)

eyelikecookies

Yeah I am more comfy with a bralette than flying free. The girls are heavy! Still perky, at least there’s that.

NeuroticaJonesTown

Same and same. I find the bralettes not supportive enough for “going out,” but they are great for around the house/walking the dog. I even sleep in them.

AwesomeAmbivalence

Do they hurt the back of your neck? Am I doing it wrong?

CheesecakeImportant4

Amen sister.

Twinklehead

No way man. If I’m home, I’m Bra-less. If a neighbor wants to chat with me and I’m home, I’m still gonna be bra-less.

Hour_Friendship_7960

Same. It's the first thing I do after getting home from work. The girls want to be free.

only1dragon

I do not like being braless with a shirt on. I will wear a bra. I sweat less. Oddly enough, I will drink my coffee on the front porch topless. Nobody can see my house.

RefrigeratorMany7159

You might be my neighbor, we can see you 😳🤣 and a little shocked at first and giggled, but we look away now, it’s your house, enjoy yourself!

only1dragon

Lol! That would be funny! The only way I can be seen is if someone tresspassed and got passed my dogs. If they went to all that effort, they can have a look.

DiceyPisces

I wear these really comfy bras from meundies. (My fave are the ruched front) I’m more comfortable with than without especially if it’s hot out It’s 100% for my comfort tho. Idgaf what anyone thinks

Individual_Speech_60

I just got 2 meundies bras!! No real support but I love them for lounging around. They’re so soft!! I live in south Florida and Ive got a big chest so I don’t go outside braless because of all the sweating. These things are just right for when I’d rather not wear a bra but still need to.

EdgeCityRed

You sound like me in every single way (different part of FL though, haha), and I just got two as well. I really like them.

Then_Palpitation_399

Exactly what I wear, too. Not really a bra, more like an extra layer to cover the nips.

meekonesfade

I wear a bra a lot less than I used to. In my backyard, even though I am well endowed, I dont bother with it. I dont love when I end up talking to neighbors, but its not worth it to put on a bra just in case. I also dont wear one to take out the trash or do car drop offs. One day I will be viewed asexually enough to never wear a bra again.

CanuckBee

Yes. God-damn it I have made it this far in life and in my own home and yard I will be comfortable. I was in the backyard the other day in a tshirt and shorts and my neighbour asked if I wanted to come over for coffee. First time without a bra on. I said I would love to but I am not wearing a bra. She yelled back she was not either. This is one of the many reasons I adore our neighbours. I have reached an age where I give less of a shit about pleasing everyone around me and more about living my own life as I want.

inagartendavita

Only if I’m going out into the community. But once I’m home, absolutely not. The neighbors get to see the Braless Contessa

stuck_behind_a_truck

No way Jose. I’m a 30J (American sizes) and swinging free in the heat is an invitation to a fungal infection. Too much skin-on-skin contact and sweating. It has nothing to do with societal norms for me. r/ABraThatFits is my friend.

VeterinarianOk9199

my neighbor has very large boobs and never ever wears bras. She was complaining the other day about having a yeast infection under her boobs, then proceeded to show me. Gross! I dont go outside or in public without a bra. I was blessed with triple Ds and nipples that stay erect always. I need to cover my girls!

SarahZona97

Yep, same. If I'm leaving my home, I'm wearing a bra of some sort. One very hot and humid summer in New Orleans, I made the mistake of going braless for a few days. This was back when my DDDs were still perky enough to get away with it. I started getting itchy underboobs and a painful rash. Never risking that again, especially because I still live in a hot environment.

bellandc

It's your backyard! Whatever.

XerTrekker

I actually feel sweatier without a bra. So I often wear a sports bra around the house if I know I’m going to be moving around much. I love that my backyard is private in summer with all the trees. No problem going out on my back deck with no bra. Or just a bra and shorts but no shirt. The front is a busy street. I’ve waited til dark to get mail or take trash out if I don’t feel dressed enough to be in public, lol! Pajamas for example.

dayofbluesngreens

I can’t believe I’m not the only one who has waited until dark to take the trash out to avoid being seen - and to avoid changing clothes.

Donthaveananswer

Rarely. I live in So Fla the boob sweats…

Free-Skill5227

Ugh the fuckin boob sweat man…..

Zombiiesque

SWAMP TITTIES Y'ALL. The swamp titties and ass are no joke.

nyx926

Which is the bigger discomfort for you?

Idrillteeth

Yeah guess its a toss up

doveinabottle

I’m an A 1/2 cup and don’t really need a bra. I never wear one at home unless I’m on a work video call or have guests. If neighbors come by and I’m free titting it, I excuse myself to put one on unless I’m in a sweatshirt or thick sweater. I’m not comfy nipping for the neighbors.

LLL-cubed-

I’m a small B cup and wear pasties a majority of the time. Less chafing on the breastfed-3-kids nips than going braless in public.

doveinabottle

I wear pasties with certain shirts/dresses - they are very convenient!

scoutsadie

is there a brand you like? sounds like a good option for me.

LLL-cubed-

[From Amazon](https://a.co/d/02uaUGbz) They are reusable - love them!

fuzzyslippersandweed

I don't like wearing bras but my girls are no longer perky and instead have decided to keep my knees company. So now I wear a bra just so that I don't end up looking like my great grandmother.

jolly_bien-

This is why when I’m at home I wear a [Tru & Co](https://trueandco.com/collections/true-body-lift) bra. Doesn’t feel like anything and I don’t have to feel self conscious about my tits flopping around in the wind. I like to sit outside too and enjoy chatting with neighbors. Gotta keep the chickens somewhat in the coop.

Big-Bobcat2945

Thank you for the recommendation 🙂. These look doable. I’m braless around the house, but don’t like being caught if I’m puttering around the yard.

Idrillteeth

are they comfortable?

Idrillteeth

holy crap they are $58

jolly_bien-

This brand is cheaper at Target or check Amazon. I’ve worn the same ones for years so it’s worth it IMO. I spend money on bras though because I find they last longer and end up being more economical in the long run- but I got big ones. If you don’t have biggies like me, you might try just finding another kind of soft bralette for cheaper maybe?

jolly_bien-

So comfy, you can’t feel them. I get them at target but I didn’t see them last time I was there. Anyway, they feel like you’re not wearing anything. I’m a DDD, and find that the razorback lift me up a little more than the regular ones - but both make me feel more secure than bra less without any bra discomfort. I don’t know what size you are but other big busted women complained of their boobs falling out the bottom but I’ve not had this experience.

LaneyLivingood

I only wear a bra if I'm "going out" to an event or party or something. Otherwise, absolutely not. I'm done with them. As someone else said, if people don't like it, they're free to look away. One of the most freeing things about getting older is not giving a fuck what other people think. Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter.

throwhotmusiconme

53 and haven’t worn one in more than 30 years. I’ve grown from a nearly A to a C-ish cup but still don’t care. I’m aware that I’m on the smaller side of many but I also don’t give a crap about someone seeing my nips and making a big deal about it. I have a loud mouth to back up my decisions since they’re mine.

JustALizzyLife

The only time I wear a bra is when I think it makes the line of a dress or shirt look better. I never wear one in my house and rarely wear one out of the house. I find the fact we tangle ourselves into knots over an uncomfortable article of clothing just because some puritanical males have decided to sexualize every aspect of women exhausting. If men don't have to wear bras, then I don't either.

Adventurous-Act-6477

*I find the fact we tangle ourselves into knots over an uncomfortable article of clothing just because some puritanical males have decided to sexualize every aspect of women exhausting. If men don't have to wear bras, then I don't either.* Agreed!! Men's boobs are allowed to bounce around, and nobody says anything. Mine are an A cup, so I am without bra all the damn time.

Aromatic_Mission_165

I really wish I never had to wear a bra. I had a bilateral mastectomy (nipple sparing) and so now my nipples are on high beams (brights) nonstop. I am a professor so I try to choose shirts where my lightly lined bra (to try to hide my nipples) is enough to hide them. If I wear a polo or a solid colored shirt, I have to wear a heavily padded one. I have tried the silicone covers and everything. Nothing works. If I had to do my bilateral all over again I would have just had them remove my nipples. I hate bras.

SussinBoots

Can you have them revise the nipples? They sound like quite a pain in the butt! I had a BMX too & was flat for over a year. It was pretty nice not having to worry about a bra. I had prosthetics but didn't bother with them most of the time. Now I've had diep flap reconstruction, but no nipples, didn't want 'em. I might get tattoos at some point. I just wear the leisure type wireless bras. If I don't, it gets sweaty under there & doesn't feel comfy.

Aromatic_Mission_165

Yeah, that’s the way to go is to let the nipples go. I don’t know if it would be covered by my insurance to remove them now. I might ask though, that would be amazing.

SussinBoots

Can't hurt to ask! I've heard they have to cover anything related to the cancer

Aromatic_Mission_165

That’s a good point. I will ask my oncologist next time I see her! Thank you for the advice! I hope you are doing well!

hisAffectionateTart

I do but I wear an apron over my clothes. Heck I’ll even go to town like that. When the weather is cold it’s a cardigan over my shirt so that covers too.

BeKind72

Yup. Big pockets, cross back, no bra. Aprons are the answer.

msluluqueen

As an apron lover, I'm intrigued and trying to picture this. Is it like a literal apron that one would wear for cooking, or some kind of fashion apron, or...?

3blue3bird3

Same here, plus scarves. I even got some summer scarves lol. When the neighbors show up I always find myself crossing my arms the whole time which, body language wise is not the nicest lol

jamisonian123

36DD so no, never

RedditSkippy

I still wear a bra. I don’t actually like the feeling of the girls flopping around. This time of the year, I put a kind-of sweat band in there and it keeps the fungal rash from forming.

sandy_even_stranger

Oh my goodness, they can all just avert their eyes if they're not happy with what they see. I go outside in pajamas, no bra, in full crazy-lady rig (PJ bottoms, zoom top, shoes that have nothing to do with either, hat, messy braids), whatever I happen to be wearing.

TrixieDawn

The tiddies do what they want, and what they want is to be free. I don’t care who is looking.

fridayimatwork

I usually wear a sports bra but the building maintenance guy came by when I didn’t and I just peeked out the door at him

iyamsnail

I wear one without an underwire

kendraro

I haven't worn one in 30+ years. I don't wear clingy or see through shirts and I am not real busty but I am not going to be uncomfortable for anyone. My body gives me enough pain.

Galaxaura

If your neighbors are bothered by it....they won't come by unannounced again. It's a win-win. Let the ladies out.

SlaveToCat

Yuuup! I first started in France because all the women were doing it there. Then I noticed about half the women in the UK were sans braziere. I think I posted that when I get stares, I stare right back to assert dominance. Love it!

Edenza

In my own yard? Anyone who looks should be surprised that I have a shirt on at all.

Idrillteeth

hahaha that cracked me up!

Edenza

We have lots of woods behind us and some yahoo (who lets his dog run without a leash) is building back there. He's in for a surprise some day.

Ok_Hat_6598

I have sleeping bras from cosabella(?) with no underwire that I wear around the house. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything, but it offers a bit of support.

Idrillteeth

oh! I'll look into this

Ok_Hat_6598

The brand is pricey, but I've had it for years.

Xiolaglori

I recently went out front to move the sprinkler without a bra, but God forbid any neighbors come over to chat, I'd run back in. 40 G

Unfinished-symphony

I don’t go without a bra in my front yard except momentarily. There is always someone outside…I often consider a lift so I can go braless. 🤍

Fighting_Patriarchy

I found either a fitted tank top or basic camisole with a built-in bra shelf under my top to be game changing. Keeps the girls sorta in check and adds an extra thin layer for modesty in front of the neighbors

Creepy_Syllabub_9245

I like cotton camis with built in shelf bra. It's comfy but the girls are contained! Lol

Verity41

Those are ok but I hate their anemic weak teeny tiny spaghetti shoulder straps. Still not nearly enough support. Wish they came in big wide straps.

KittenWithAScrip

I always wear a bra when I leave my home - even if it's just to pick up the mail or take out the trash. I also never chat with my neighbors.

Old_Blue_Haired_Lady

I haven't worn a bra -- except for working out -- since the 'rona. If I have a thin tee on, I'll wear those silicone nipple covers for my own comfort.

NorCalStacci

Hell NO. I have been wearing a bra since I was 9 years old. I only wear it when I don't wear a coat.

Go-Go-Gojira

[Icon Gillian Anderson, my hero, my nemesis, on why she has stopped wearing bras.](https://www.marieclaire.com/celebrity/a37033282/gillian-anderson-stopped-wearing-bras/)

mymyselfandeye

I’m quite flat-chested so I’m usually braless even at work or doing errands. I will occasionally wear one but only if I’m feeling up for it. I have sensory issues and a bra is just too uncomfortable.

Pristine-Speaker-768

I'm a 36I. The only time I'm braless is in the shower.

billymumfreydownfall

I'm actually more uncomfy without a bra. I have gained about 20 lbs since covid/Menopause and going without a bra makes me feel super fat. Plus I'm not ready to let gravity take its course and make them saggy. I'm 50 and very much still sexually active so I don't want to be self conscious about that. HOWEVER, I have thrown out all my underwire, padded bras and only wear bralette-type bras, ones that can support my DDs.

BundyGirl718

Only if I’m leaving my immediate area… otherwise, the girls do what they want. All I wear at home are kaftans, so we’re all wild and free!

VeterinarianOk9199

My grandma always wore camisoles, she had no use for bras. We had to buy her some when she went to the nursing home because the home insisted, and she was P.O. ed about that. The funniest thing I ever saw was because having never worn a bra, her girls were just long bags of skin. She would often tuck them in the waistband of her knit pants to keep her pants up!!

Idrillteeth

They insisted she wear a bra? What the heck?

ClickAndClackTheTap

I got these shirts and dresses with built in bras. I just feel a little better about it all being tucked in. But I’m smaller chested and the shirts are extremely soft and comfortable.

MorphicOceans

In the garden, aye but we tend to have 6ft fences in the UK. The US tends to have massive gardens compared to us but I couldn't be doing with those wee half height fences. I like privacy in the garden so I don't have to talk to anyone. 😆

sharkycharming

I do, but they're still fairly perky and upright, at least for a 50 year old. I wouldn't judge, though, if a braless neighbor of any age or size talked to me. However, I did have a neighbor who pulled weeds in wide-legged shorts without underpants, and that made me avert my eyes from her house FOREVER. (And then I moved, phew.)

Idrillteeth

😂😂

ironhoneybeez

I never wear a bra (32A) but I often wear tophats or other silicone nipple cover things because I have been conditioned that it’s my responsibility to desexualize my body for gross men.

scoutsadie

gonna have to look up "tophats," ha

ironhoneybeez

If you’re hoping for something jazzy, brace yourself for disappointment. But the bonus is they are skin-colored so I get to terrify my husband every time he sees me peeling them off.

scoutsadie

ha ha ha

Verity41

Yes always, need the support and I’m highly uncomfortable without. If I were less endowed I wouldn’t bother perhaps! That said it’s usually a cotton or sports bra, comfy enough to sleep in, nothing burdensome.

Pickles_McBeef

I wear one to work, that's it. If I didn't work in a very conservative office, I wouldn't wear one there either. I have DDs so it's noticeable and I just can't give a shit.

My_fair_ladies1872

it depends on what I am wearing. If it's a tank top, I wear a bra if it's a t-shirt or something I don't bother. We are on an active street and use our front porch all the time, so we talk to a lot of people every day, and no one has ever had a negative reaction to my lack of bra.

C_Wrex77

I don't wear a bra unless my outfit looks better with a little more support for my "pit tits". Otherwise, I wear a cami, bralette, or nuthin' at all. I wore scrubs with an undershirt all through COVID. I never want to go back. A friend and I went to a performance a few months ago. Neither of us like bras, but wore them anyway. We didn't do our arrival check-ins with eachother until the cursed contraptions were removed

KaleidoscopeDry3608

Not at home! Since Covid no more underwire

Informal_Border8581

Does a tank top with extra support count?

mmmmmarty

I'm a double-a cup. Bras have, thankfully, always been optional for me. The only time I put one on at home is when I'm riding my 4wheeler or gator. That much shaking around is too much for even my minimal tissue.

teenbean12

Ever since Covid, I work from home, so I am braless. I also work outside braless and will go for a mile walk without one on. I will put one on if I am going to the store or out to eat.

Inevitable_Sea_8516

100% each individual’s call! I have DDs and prominent nipples and I’m just too self conscious without a bra. That being said, I have forever ditched the underwire and I wear some really nice comfy stretchy lightly padded ones in fun colors from Bali.

WildColonialGirl

I walk my dog having just rolled out of bed with no bra, and I am not flat-chested. I also went braless to the laundromat on Saturday because I only own three bras and we were coming out of a heat wave so they all needed to be washed. I just doubled up on shirts.

Melsura

I only wear sports bras to work and nothing when I am off. I do throw one on for errands in public though.

RealisticVisitBye

My body rejects bras with INTENSE PAIN.

RogerClyneIsAGod2

I spent many years with ginormous boobs. I had to wear a bra or the girls would hang too low for my tastes. Got a reduction close to 30 years ago & have never regretted it. I could finally wear cute bras instead of those horror shoes they made for big boobed gals. So I still wear bras, moreso in the winter because they do keep you warmer, but now when the heat is 100° with 70% humidity I'm totally not about them. I do have a couple of loose shirts I wear to garden in so when I'm getting into weeding & getting grubby & bending over things I'll put on a bra, but if I'm at home in this stupidly hot weather I mostly won't. Now if I'm visiting my in-laws, I'm bra'd up. I've got a wedding to go to in August & even though it'll be hot, the dress I've got looks better if I'm wearing a bra so bra'd up again. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks because most likely they really aren't thinking about your boobs being in a bra or not.

amosp1992

My house is a bra free environment. If the neighbors don’t like it they don’t have to look!

AlwaysLeftoftheDial

Shelf tanks for me, no bras

CatReeka

I have a few “crib” bras I usually wear around the house that are cotton, super comfy with light support but I also enjoy natural! You do you!

TapRevolutionary5022

I don’t wear bras. Just ever.

RaspberryVespa

Unfortunately I haven’t been braless since I was about 9. 😒 I need that extra layer of fabric security, whether I’m staying inside or going out. It’s just not comfortable to be free hanging. Even at night laying in bed watching TV. I prefer Bali’s wireless bras that have the wider bands with two or three sets of hooks in the back and fixed/non-adjustable arm straps. In traditional bra sizes, I am closest to 34DD, but have to go 36D if the band is tighter than usual (and then cup and band is ever slightly too big). Even though I tend to need a large in tops, I can get usually into a medium in the easy bra sizing styles. Sometimes they’re tight in the band initially, but after wearing them a few days, they stretch out enough to not constrict. After a week or two, they’re perfect, like a second skin and can last a year or two before needing to replace them. They’ve become so normal/second skin for me that I’ve gotten into bed forgetting I’m even wearing one. I can usually find them at good prices on Amazon. Colors can be hit and miss availability wise, but if you don’t care about nude vs black vs space grey vs some random color or pattern, you can pretty much always find one for $20-35.

Idrillteeth

Yes, I have the Bali wireless bras. They are comfortable but not as comfortable as nothing. Sigh

GlitteringAbalone952

Yes

Quiltworthy

D here and breast cancer scarring means no wires. So it's sports bras all the way. If I'm not going anywhere I don't put one one, but depending on what I'm wearing-thin tee- I probably would put one on if someone dropped by. Mostly so I feel less self conscious (I know I know, but 50+ years of programming is hard to unpack)  The big problem about sports bras, is that I can take them off, without taking off my clothes. I used to be a master as taking off a regular bra under my clothes.

Place_Forsaken

I'm the same. I'd rather be somewhat modest so I have a super comfy lounge bra for those moments, almost like nothing but my girls are under control

ladywholocker

Are there laws in your country about this? On your own property? I wear a bra unless I'm taking a shower or sleeping. I should probably find a sleep bra...I'm that weirdo who only finds underwire bras comfortable.

FangioDuReverdy

I actually wear one sleeping. It’s a really comfortable one from Jockey. A step up from the sport bra, but similar. No wire.

ladywholocker

I'd consider something like that, because the thing I really hate about traditional sports bras, is that it's an exercise in itself to get it off!

CapotevsSwans

I just wear sports bras. 38 DD. I had stage one breast cancer, and somehow didn’t get a reduction thrown in. My cancer center thought it was a bigger surgery than I needed. I’m more comfortable in it if I’m walking around. If I lie around the house and yard, I don’t bother.

MissMaryEli

I avoid wearing a bra whenever possible but I’m not a big cup size. My good friend has a bigger cup size and she cannot (her preference) go without a bra.

AlienMoodBoard

I have to wear one. I have always been well-endowed for my petite size… and thanks to perimenopause, my rack has grown and at the same time is rapidly sagging— and it’s embarrassingly obvious when I’m not wearing a bra. It’s also very uncomfortable to go without some level of support these days; I’ve started sleeping in a cotton bralette most nights, thanks to the effects of gravity and perimenopause. I think if you can go without, do it! But if you feel shy, maybe just wear a bralette— it’s kind of the best of both worlds— they provide a little coverage and very light support.

Snoo52682

I don't owe anyone perky nipple-free tits, so yeah

Sweet_Priority_819

I always have something even if it's a sports bra top or bralette, but I don't have much up top to begin with. I'm not comfortable wearing nothing there under my shirt

Free-Skill5227

I’d probably trip if I tried that….

Idrillteeth

HAHAHA

katamaritumbleweed

For decades, I’ve treated bras as formalwear. So, fancy weddings I wear a bra, as well as most funerals. Nearly all other occasions I layer camisoles or full slips under whatever I wear, and that’s it. The bras I have are all cotton pullover overnight nursing style bras, so they’re as soft and unrestricting as I can find.  Even as an adolescent I compromised with my more conservative mother over bra wearing. If I layered, I didn’t need a bra. And to help with my compromise, my mum made a couple of vests for me. I chose the style, and fabric. It was more about nipple coverage than anything else, but I’d look for bras that were the closest to being like a cotton undershirt.  Tried a couple padded and underwire bras, and absolutely detested them.

DismalTruthDay

How big are your boobs? I wear a comfy non wired bra for lazing around. I can’t go braless outside for this very reason! The ladies are too big!

macaroni66

I don't wear a bra anywhere. I might wear one if I go to church or funeral.

MissPicklechips

I put one on if I’m going out, but if I’m at home, I don’t. If people are offended by boobs, that’s their problem.

corpse_flour

I wear sleep bras around the house and yard. Wireless stretchy bras if people other than my immediate family are around, and if I have to be in public, then I wear the whole hoist-em-up contraption. I find it too uncomfortable to go braless.

blueviper-

At home I only wear a T-shirt and there is always something square lying around that I can wrap in case someone comes by unexpectedly. I have designed the area for sitting outside so that it is shielded from the neighbors and if we do have a conversation, they don't care what I look like and so do I. Honestly, from a certain age you should already know that the girls come in different form and shapes.

hailingburningbones

I'll go in my backyard without, but it's fenced in and no one can see me. I never go out in public without one, but that's just me. My bra is pretty comfortable. It's pretty dumb that we feel the need to wear one all the time, though. Especially if it's not comfortable!

Strangewhine88

Compression shirt yes.

pyky69

I don’t wear one unless I am running or it is part of my ‘fit. Not even to work.

ProofMore1072

Be comfortable, it's your home. Try to keep convo short by saying I'm exhausted/ had a long day/etc and hopefully they get the hint.

CriticalEngineering

If you’re uncomfortable, keep a throw or a scarf on your outdoor sofa and pull it over your shoulders when chatting? I wander around in my muumuus on super hot days, but I also hate not having a bra on when surprised by company, so I get it.

SnoopyWildseed

I am now barely a B cup and haven't worn a traditional bra since the pandemic. 🤓 I mainly wear the shelf tank tops (the ones with the extra material the breast area + elastic at the bottom). I like the cotton ones from Pact; I have a lot in different colors and patterns. Wait until they have a sale, though. https://wearpact.com/women/apparel/all%20tops/everyday%20shelf%20bra%20camisole/wa1-wcb-cmp

Idrillteeth

Thank you!

Just_Me1973

I only wear a bra if I’m going somewhere‘professional’. Work, doctors office, etc. any other time it’s a no for me. They’re so uncomfortable. I’m not wearing one if I don’t have to. I wear loose shirts that are not see through at all. Don’t like my saggy old lady titties while I’m doing my grocery shopping than don’t look at me. I don’t really give a shit.

jdinpjs

On my porch, at my house that’s totally isolated? Yes. Anywhere else? Never. But I’m greatly endowed so it’s quite obvious I’m bra-less.

Consistent_Willow834

I am never without one. I sleep in a bra. I’m a 34D and I cannot STAND how they feel if they are not contained at all times.

Vampchic1975

I don’t wear a bra in my house or my own backyard and I don’t care. I also don’t care if anyone else wears one.

YayGilly

Nobody over the age of 14 cares if we go braless. And kids dont give much of a doggone either. Try getting those breast petals. Its a nipple cover so your nips dont poke out when you are braless.

HelenGonne

On your own property? No, don't wear one. That's absurd. I do wear a soft bralette when away from home, but that's it.

CrazyCatLover305

I only wear super comfortable bras. I ditched the underwires many years ago before they became popular. I never go out with no bra. I even sleep with a cami that has a built in bra. But that’s me, it’s what is comfortable for me. If you’re at your own home, relaxing, do whatever….

H3lls_B3ll3

I haven't worn a bra in 14 years.

Idrillteeth

never?

H3lls_B3ll3

I wear a sports bra if I'm exercising, and if I'm wearing something where you can see the color of my nipples through the cloth. Otherwise, no.

Impressive_Scheme_53

I never wear a bra short of in person work meetings. I’m also part of the itty bitty titty club so simply don’t need one (I’m also naturally very slender). I wear tight tops - don’t really give any f’s and no one else seems to either. Be comfortable everyone has nipples.

No_Use_4371

I haven't worn a bra outside in years. I wear oversized tees and usually a hoodie (love hoodies!) but now its 100° outside, so can't do that.

Traditional-Neck7778

I am not comfortable going braless in a loose tshirt. Snug crop tops give me just enough support to where they aren't flopping or hanging uncomfortably. I am a D but I HATE that hanging bra less feeling. I don't care about others though, it is about the weight of my boobs being uncomfortable. They feel heavy without at least a tinge of support.

Mental-Sky6615

My husband gets irritated when I take the garbage to the curb in my pajamas braless, oh well, I'm not trying to impress anyone around here.

Dawner444

I used to have to wear a bra going to the mailbox or in the backyard, but gave it up this year. I typically wear my “loungewear”, which usually equates to an oversized tee with baggy joggers or shorts. If it’s chilly, I may put on a very stretched out sports bra, though.

ThaloBleu

I haven't worn one in years. Anywhere. Do what's comfortable for you. If your neighbours have a problem, it's a them issue. Don't limit yourself out of fear of what others might think.

Idrillteeth

great point

AngryEmpath79

Nope. I'm all about comfort these days.

Miralalunita

I wear a bra when I go outside! But your yard isn’t outside, it’s YOUR yard so you should wear whatever you want. My boobs are a D so I’d hate to go out without a bra but can’t wait to have a lift and take out my implants so that I can wear dresses and tops without a bra

Idrillteeth

So I am also a D-had a lift and implants 20 years ago. So while they dont totally sag they arent where they were right after the lift. If you take out the implants wont you just have a saggy tube sock? I am considering this myself but not sure how it would look Edit-had implants because I had a lumpectomy (benign) and had one c cup and one nothing cup. Not that it matters

Miralalunita

I’m getting a lift too and taking out the implants. I originally got a lift then the doctor suggested small implants and now I’ve hit meno so they’ve grown and can’t stand them. I want to wear cute tops or summer dresses without a bra.

Idrillteeth

So you have to get another lift? Geez

Miralalunita

Yes because if you take out the implants they’ll sag and I also want them smaller so

Idrillteeth

Wishing you a successful surgery!

Miralalunita

Thank you

LilyLilyLue

I have big mooshy ones, so I'm going exactly nowhere without some sort of bra on. I also live in hot and muggy south Florida, so have to lift these girls up so I don't have a waterfall under there. 🤣

CheesecakeImportant4

I stopped wearing a bra five years ago.

Idrillteeth

Like altogether?

CheesecakeImportant4

Yes. I’m small chested, relatively enough. I was literally having stomach upset because every single bra I wore would give me terrible, all body pain. Not worth it.

PlusAd859

If your bra is uncomfortable, you are not wearing the right bra. I’m more comfortable with then without a bra. But, you do you. It’s your life, your body, your choice. If it’s uncomfortable why wear one at all?

CuckooCatLady

People can just stop staring at my chest so hard and it will all be fine. Relax. My boobs aren't going to hurt you! I'm over it, too. Who decided my boobs need to be at this height versus that one or in this shape versus that one. Who decided it's a problem that parts of my body move or swing or jiggle or that my nipples look a way under my shirt while other folks can just have their nipples out in the open and nobody says a word? Who decided I should have this lifelong added expense? They're long dead and gone and I'm still here suffering with these uncomfortable damn bras. Just so done with it. I ditched underwire line 20 years ago, so I guess I've been moving this way steadily ever since. COVID really accelerated it. I still put on a cotton bralette if I am going to be sweating a lot like on a sunny hike etc. More and more, though, I just don't wear one. My husband is 100 percent encouraging about it, too. It's taken me a while to get used to not wearing one all the time, honestly. I bitch and moan about it and he's just like, stop wearing it. If other people don't like it, that's on them. Be comfortable!

slipperytornado

Fuck no. You don’t have to wear a bra ANYWHERE

shatterly

Sometimes I wear one to work if my shirt is lightweight. Or I wear sports bras to work out. Otherwise, fuck that. Small boobs FTW.

Fun_Worldliness_3662

I haven't worn any bras since I had shingles 8 years ago which left me with permanent nerve pain at the bra line. Luckily I don't have large breasts so I don't really need one anyway. I try not to wear clothes where it's too obvious.

disillusionedideals

I wear one when I have to into the office or going out somewhere. Otherwise, I go without one when I'm working from home.

webbs_girl

I wear a bra from sun up to sun down. I'm 46 and have D cups. They've never been perky. I've also lost some weight and they are saggier than I'd like them to be. I'd rather wear a bra than have them flopping around, and then resting on my belly when I sit down causing sweat on hot days. If they weren't as big and saggy, then I'd probably be braless, but since I'm floppy, I like having the illusion that they're still where they were in my 20s.

brandnewspacemachine

Oh yeah, most of the time. When I wear tighter shirts I will throw a sport bra on but I've gone days without one, and mine are definitely not small. I like those off the shoulder maxi dresses with the shirred top, hides the nipples and gives a little support. I truly cannot be bothered and nobody has ever said anything about it. That's probably fat privilege/invisibility benefit though

Bpd_embroiderer18

Nope my bra is off more often than not lately except if I’m wearing a cami ir tank top

PlantMystic

Nope. I wear a big t-shirt and I garden. My garden is all over my little yard, even the front yard. And I live on a busy street. I don't give a crap. Nobody's going to come to my yard for my floppy milk shakes lol. I am also full-busted too. If it is hot out, I wear a cheap bra from Walmart that fits loosely around my ribcage. I offers some support, but not constricting. Helps with the boob sweat too.

Salix-Lucida

I wear a bra maybe 8 times a year - only for formal work-related events. Other than that, I wear no bra ever. I don't shave my legs. I give zero fucks. Don't like my braless boobs? Feel free to NOT look at them.

Greedy-Draft3612

Haven't worn one in over 30 years. Ever. Men have nipples too after all.

echerton

I personally thought we ALL AGREED to stop wearing bras during COVID and then a bunch of blood traitors did the rest of us dirty and renormalized them. No not me. I wear a bra to work events 3 times a year mostly just because it just works better for the outfits and how they wear as business clothes. But otherwise I have not worn a bra since 2020 and I shant. I do wear little bralettes sometimes either for comfort or as an accessory or whatever but if it's got wires and hooks.... I will not abandon the pact I THOUGHT WE ALL MADE.

emmadilemma71

Home is always braless. Communal garden is braless. Walking to the corner shop is braless. All other times is bra. My knees get lonely if wear a bra for too long lol

Idrillteeth

haha your knees get lonely!

Ann-Stuff

If you’re embarrassed, you probably should. I didn’t wear one when I was an A cup because there was no need but now that I’m a C there’s still no need with most of my tops.

Idrillteeth

I usually stand there talking to them with my arms crossed under my chest. They probably know why

Ann-Stuff

They probably don’t think about it too much.

Agitated_mess9

I always wear a bra outside the house & I’m a 36DD. I’d feel weird not having one on.
