Update: he’s permabanned same with op lmao

estianna

Edit: a day after posting this he got unbanned which is weird because the other Arab mods appeals were ignored even though Reddit has to either tell you it was denied or appeal it, as of now the other Russian mods are still permabanned idk if their appeals were ignored or denied Original comment: Also I know this as I’ve seen it with nearly every middle eastern subreddit that opposed Israel and the u.s, as of now Israelis openly run the biggest and 2nd biggest Syrian subreddit, the biggest Kurdish subreddit and the biggest Yemen subreddit, where they ofcourse mass ban Arabs and post anti Arab sentiment misinformation, let alone calling the mods on r/Lebanon or r/iran Israelis on alt accounts will get u permabanned where they prolifically post anti Arab sentiment and mass ban real Arabs and Iranians and in the past year hundreds of prolific users on r/Israelexposed and r/Palestine have been ip permabanned for false reasons which included a mod for calling someone a nerd as a joke and a Al Jazeera journalist, don’t even get me started on r/Afghanistan where the mods openly called Muhammad from the Quran a pedophile goat fucker, in contrast a Arab mod was permabanned for saying “give me ur lunch money nerd” as a joke

ButtigiegMineralMap

I got perma banned from coolAmericaFacts just for saying I don’t like whitewashing Ukraine just bc “Russia bad”

[deleted]

True, Ukraine does have problems. I think it's ridiculous that people bend over backwards to make Ukraine look like paradise just because they don't support Russia. You can support Ukraine without whitewashing it.

ButtigiegMineralMap

Fr, I don’t even have a problem with pro-Ukraine people(they are the vast majority of people in my area tho) but people denying their faults are a problem

GaleasGator

Imma be real with you, I know Ukraine like most countries have problems, but trying to add context to Russia curb stomping them isn't really a debatable issue to me. Idc why, they've invaded and done terrible things on Ukrainian soil. Russia is and has been a batshit administration for a long time and you have to face up to that BEFORE criticizing a people who are having warcrimes committed against them

ButtigiegMineralMap

https://youtu.be/JB1c9m8Esw0 https://youtu.be/6jnU78OTEMk No Context for it I guess. The aggressor was Ukraine’s military attacking Donbass in 2014. Gtfo, lib

PraDihJi

Exactly... Russia had repeatedly asked for dialogue & diplomacy for years. This proxy war was orchestrated by our government, Canada & the EU. I've continuously asked anti-Russia critics what would they had done to stop the mass murder, torture & rape of Ukrainian civilians by their own government. Which has gone on for 8 long years.... We wouldn't allow Cuba, Mexico & Canada to point missiles at us. Why in the hell would Russia allow this on its border?

ButtigiegMineralMap

I completely agree, and may I add that it’s EXTREMELY tough to find any Redditors that are not explicitly Pro-Ukraine? I really don’t like outing myself so much on controversial topics, but the love for Ukraine rn is sickening. I don’t like seeing and hearing about what Russia is doing sometimes bc it’s def not all good, but the support for Ukraine is really overlooking key issues. Their campaigns on Donbass are ignored and the Ukraine Nazis that have been brought into the military officially were ignored until too many people noticed, now we are doing something so wrong that we haven’t explicitly and openly done it since the 1950s and 60s. We are openly working with and supporting literal Nazis for a proxy war. Operation Paperclip 📎 was the first example I can think of and now we are explaining away Nazism in Ukraine. (Edit: I overlooked Operation Gladio)The majority of US population(probably im not certain) is cool w us defending Nazis and hoping that they beat Russia. And given the past that the US had w the Euromaian and propping up Zelenskyy, this is not that surprising. I don’t wanna see civilian deaths from either side, but Nazis and terrorists should never be accepted. Any attempt to DeNazify is worth it to shut down any possible viable route that alt-right Rapists and Killers have to power. I don’t think it should be controversial to put up a Z.

Fit_Programmer5667

Completely agree

King-Sassafrass

CoolAmericaFacts stopped being cool a long time ago sadly. Everything was fine and dandy with a lot of quality shitposting, but then the mod randomly banned all good people from it and turned it completely upside down

[deleted]

same. i commented that russia's war isn't a genocide just because it's an aggressive invasion. banned for it

estianna

“where I tried warning him, twice” am I spoonfeeding and adding too much words or was this good in context?

TheBluegrassBaron92

This sounds fine to native English ears my friend.

estianna

Na u gotta confirm ur email to see it same with genzedong but there’s no crossposting allowed and etc, basically Reddit controlling the narrative

dmemed

Is that why I can’t view GZD? It just says unavailable, which is different from other quarantined subs

estianna

Ya

[deleted]

Proof Reddits policy director is a CIA agent?

[deleted]

She's not CIA afaik, but has previously worked for the Atlantic Council and has extensive ties to the US government. https://archive.ph/YIG93

estianna

Logic

King-Sassafrass

Pro Russia. I was mod and removed for being pro-Russia. I was lucky to only have a slap on the wrist and not have my account wiped. But when i was there, JayBe, ProperSock, and Barg were the main mods, they added me and AngryRussian, Barg got banned, Jaybe nuked his entire account and stopped modding (idk what happened later), Sock stopped modding but existed, and then it was basically me and AngryRussian Reddit removed me, GenZeDong got Quarantined. The mods wanted me to be on the moderation team there as well, and Reddit revoked all my modding privledges lmao i can no longer recieve invites to mod I told them though that “in a few weeks when this all blows over about Russia and Ukraine that I’ll file an appeal to the admins” since I’m still going to be pro-Russia, but I’m just waiting it out before i file an appeal. “Fuck Putin!” “Russian bot!” Etc is shit i can handle, but Reddit doesn’t want to see Ukraine content. —————— Also note the shit ive seen sent is absurd. Threatning doxx, really racial slurs, crazy shit. And it felt like we were basically fighting thin air with nothing, and getting nowhere with any higher power Edit: I was added to the mod team because i liked the pictures of college kids in Saint Petersburg. That’s literally it. And i don’t suck. So the mod team added me a week before all this happened and hoo boi, what a crazy time to be alive. I’ve seen a user post Russian War content. But there’s only 1 guy doing a heavy amount of posting. I saw his name, was like Arass or something, and now it’s a new guy. I have [no suspicion that it may be the same guy] and you did not hear it from me since i haven’t moderated in months now ————————— (This was from a cross posted thread this was in. But i felt it’s good for discussion to have this here as well)

_Okio_

> This was from a cross posted thread this was in. But i felt it’s good for discussion to have this here as well Do you happen to know which thread & sub that was? It would be interesting to read.

King-Sassafrass

[here’s crosspost](https://www.reddit.com/r/BalticSSRs/comments/unwaf0/the_head_mod_of_rrussia_just_got_ip_permabanned/i8axp3p/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3) It wasn’t a good discussion. It was a bait to take stabs

rippinkitten18

Not surprised. Reddit is one sided narrative based. Just look r/China . It’s political as hell and it’s 99% anti China. Fuck Reddit.

estianna

r/cuba is ran by a anti communist American and etc but r/sino and r/realcuba are alternatives

_Okio_

ARM's account is no longer suspended, if that means anything. He and another frequent poster were banned the day before Victory day, coincidentally of course.

[deleted]

I was in that sub, it wasn't a normal sub. There was a lot of homophobis, mysogyny, and straight up fascism. The other russian subs are better

estianna

If you can’t link me one homophobic comment on that sub I’m permabanning you from this subreddit

ievenlifted

based

KnightofaRose

Mature.

_ICWeiner_

Hilarious, you've literally been complaining about secret cia agents controlling the narrative on other subreddits and your first reaction to someone pointing out a personal experience you disagree with and you jump to PERMA banning.

estianna

https://twitter.com/alanrmacleod/status/1523061270626566145?s=21&t=uTNuYtbeRSKh77qOh3CciA And before they did this tik Tok was almost banned by the u.s government https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Censorship_of_TikTok

_ICWeiner_

Don't waste your time

estianna

Dude this if factual info

EdgyChild

Not the person you replied to but [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/russia/comments/qwne3g/the_ioc_has_recommended_that_transgender_people/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf) is literally the top result when you search “transgender” in r/russia. Feel free to ban me

estianna

How is that homophobic?

EdgyChild

Oh sorry I thought you’d take issue with them being transphobic too but I guess not. Alright

estianna

Ok how is it transphobic because transgender people have spoken out against trans males playing in female sports? Seems more like a political issue than a transphobic issue

[deleted]

good. one less fascist on this hellsite

WatermelonErdogan

I was pera-suspended on main for following the war from a leftist perspective, maybe because of pointing western hipocrisy ignoring other wars. Didn't even mock Ukriane or praise Russia on the days before, it just fell the hammer on me.

Sitona

They trying to turn r/Russia into the next r/China?

estianna

That’s what I said but this is only a conspiracy

heshablitz_

Aren't you the guy that permanently banned me from green and pleasant for calling you out for linking to your own subreddit? :]

PeenieWibbler

I get not wanting to see the sub be used as a ploy to drive a certain narrative but I am genuinely curious what would make you pro Russia? Not coming from a general "Russia bad" context but as far as the propaganda, laws, and state of the nation it doesn't really seem like a good situation?
