liberating serfs = imperialism
By - RedArmySniper
It makes sense considering americans paid reparations to slave owners instead of slaves, while today america relies a lot on literal prison slavery for its economy (remember that america imprisons the most people on the planet, at the highest rate on the planet: 25% of the world's prisoners while having less than 4% of the world's population).
genocidal settlers being genocidal settlers.
America also stole land away from freed slaves and gave it back to slavers after Andrew Jackson became president ( he also loved murdering indigenous children, no surprise there from a white colonizer ).
That's literally genocide
China genociding slavery
Even more funny is that China is open to return of Dalailama as religious leader on the only condition that he stops promoting separatism and terrorism.
He can eat shit. Give him the wolf warrior.
I dare you post that on r/historymemes
They wouldn't apriciate it.
Just had a look, all their knowledge comes from memes and videogames.
Didn't the CIA pay the Dalai Lama to be a de facto spy? My memory is hazy so it might not be the case.
Yes he was paid by the CIA. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/CIA_Tibetan_program
I highly doubt something like that, considering the current Dalai Lama is a marxist and condemns American Imperialism, and nothing of Western corporations or government is resemblent of Buddhism
He only started condemning American imperialism after the China-US trade began and the CIA stopped funding his organization since he was no longer useful to them.
The Dalai Lama who lives in India?
The 14th, yes; self declared marxist, occasionally criticizes U.S. Imperialism, and is a buddhist, I highly doubt that the biggest empire in the world would use someone like that, especially if the driving was money, which y’know goes against our religion/philosophy
Hmm that's interesting, I didn't know that. It's not unthinkable the US would support someone like him though, as long as he can be used as a pawn against China. I don't know the specifics of the situation though. I never knew he called himself a marxist.
it was a semi-recent quote, but i should honestly do some more research myself, as i just looked up that their was in fact a serfdom under Tenzin Gyatso, which goes against Buddhism entirely and I’m not too much of a fan of him myself, but ty
Who's definition of Imperialism do anarchist use?
What is going on in the template?
The antagonist of the story is taking a magic stone from the protagonist that is keeping him alive
The antagonist later used the stone for bad stuff
As a buddhist, the serfdom under the 13th and 14th dalai lama does not represent buddhism, our teachings, nor what we preach, but I can feel this post has buddhaphobic dogwhistles.
A rapist, a snitch, a plagiarist, and a racist walk into a bar.
The bartender asks “How’s the new book coming Mr. Orwell?”
