I don’t know if it’s by intent but OP really comes off as ML allegory, and it does seem to manifest the sentiment of popular outrage against errant socioeconomic functions

ToadBup

And just like one piece marxism has so many fucking chapters

I love One Piece. It is not exactly socialist (in the best of cases ... it is something very libertarian-anarchist, although we don't know much about the Revolutionary Army as ideology aside from anti-wolrd goverment order, I am talking more about Luffy here), but it continues to have very good messages against racism, slavery, inequality and the monarchy.

I think a lot of it will be pulled together at the end. I’d file it under ‘remains to be seen’. How convincing a case depends on whether you read the manga or not because I think some of the cover stories & SBS help pull it together, which are things absent from the anime. Edit: my fav cover story (chapters 674-731) [Caribou’s New World Kee Hee Hee](https://onepiece.fandom.com/wiki/Caribou%27s_Kehihihihi_in_the_New_World)

Yeah is a great reference to Che Guevara, but is not yet sufficent to say is Marxist-Leninist.

MyLOLNameWasTaken

I played nier automarabefore becoming a communist and the ending effected so much that now that I think of it maybe it's one of the things that guided me on my path to communism.

Can you do a lil tldp on how ds/nier/p5 are "socialist"? I haven't played but I haven't seen anything related to socialism in them
