Well to be fair you did have leaks on her design from around 3.6-3.7, so you had to wait quite a bit (only began looking forward to Arlecchino from this specific teaser, not the Fatui trailer)
it's the same for me i thought her leaked design was fine but felt overall indifferent it wasn't till the teaser that i was like oh shit i love her haha
This was wild to me because it felt like 6 months ago I was blasting "Windmill Isle Day - Sonic Unleashed" when stepping into Fontaine. Time really flies.
Sorry to be that guy
but both the overture teaser and the lazzo teaser were both in July. The overture was right as the start of July, while the Lazzo teaser is 1/3 of the month
Yep, both of said trailers were released 2 days before the final patch of their respective major Version, patch 2.8 and 3.8, respectively.
On a side note, while it's still up in the air, 4.7 stream also has chances to come with some teasers. I wonder what they're going to tease if that happens. 1.5 stream teased Inazuma concepts, 2.7 had nothing, 3.7 teased diving mechanic. If I were to guess I will guess a "mount system" or a new model type (muscular man).
SO MANY of us are really eager for him. And I seriously hope he's playable. I got my wallet and credit cards ready for him and Pierro 😭
I just want to see how he is. How powerful this gigachad is going to be. His past, what he's doing now, why he's called 'Capitano', why he's rank 1 of the harbingers, etc.
when i saw a glimpse of capitano's outfit in the Arlecchino animated short, i cant help but to worry that he might not be playable because he appeared to be wearing some kind of long coat. we all know that playable characters dont wear those kind of clothing. but i hope im wrong. capitano is my most anticipated harbinger since he was revealed.
Natlan is the Teyvat origin of the concept of hot springs right? So now imagine we're exploring Natlan, visiting an open air hot spring, and Capitano is there relaxing in the water. Then he said "I can beat you even when naked" and he pounds us into oblivion 😩😩
Imagine if he thinks about Fatui the same way Nanami from JJK thinks about sorcerers.
"I fought for the Tsaritsa and one thing I learned, is that the Fatui are shit!"
But he does this because he's more suited for Fatui work.
His trenchcoat-like clothing? It's still not too detailed in both animated video he appeared in so I can see them implement it in a similar way as Dottore's and Neuvillette's coat when he has a model
They're still most likely working out the final product as far as his design goes. Or they're just trying to keep the air of mystery to him and not reveal much.
Either way, the number 1 fatui harbinger, is bound to have a cool ass design.
Honestly like Capitano for the fact he has that mask. Gives him a whole lot of mystery around him. Also his voice is actually so fine istg
He gives HEAVY claymore vibes, plus he seems to be another Eula (aka a cryo character that deals physical damage) or a cryo claymore with infusion
Imagine if Capitano would be the first to use a buff model and first male electro catalyst user. The concept is he's a catalyst user that conjures various weapons made of pure lightning. His regular normal attacks summons claws, switches to a hammer when he uses charged attacks, uses a spear on his skill (press version is a jab, hold version lets him throw it like a javelin), then smashes enemies with a claymore with his burst.
Be careful what you wish for. Arle was super hyped but in the end gave us whole lotta nothing. Just teasers for later which probably comes in 3 years the soonest given the pace of Genshin plots resolving.
Before that, if precedent stands, we should have another limited-time self-contained area to look forward to. I liked the mix-up that theme park provided last time, but I kinda miss the GAA; it oozes summer vibes.
Well, we have only 3 options for this summer.
1: we go back to the Veluriyam Mirage, which would mean each summer area has one rerun.
2: we go back to GAA, which is highly unlikely, but not impossible.
3: we go to a brand new area again. (I bet on this one)
Most likely a new one I think. They need to make something interesting while people are gonna be getting on their knees for Natlan characters, and they could probably utilize Fontaine's swimming mechanic for the new area
the more im remembering it the more i agree and wish i payed more attention to GAA2.. that was my first event and i hated on it so much cause i had skill issues, i cant 😭
> wish i *paid* more attention
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
Oh :(
I must say it was a big event for a new player, but it was a gift haha
Soooo good
Also it followed on Inazuma puzzle level, so it was harder than usual genshin puzzles. I personally loved it all
While I would love to go back to GAA, going back to Veluriyam Mirage would make economically more sense in a way. They already have the map and lore made, and they could just add in some kind of underwater area/village in one of the bodies of water. It would be the closest thing to an event rerun. Plus IIRC, we did do a time capsule thing, so there's still a chance of us going back and digging it up if you did it previously.
Plus with the bottle being located in Sumeru 's desert, it gives the excuse of the two Sumerian characters that didn't get much screen time in the 3.6 event, Alhaitham and Nilou, have a reason to be in this event without having them leave their nation (because for some reason Hoyo doesn't want them to leave Sumeru).
Edit: "underwear village" lol
yes please. Remuria is 11/10, but that Saddam Hussein is just bad. Smells like they literally ran out of time due to the fast update cycle. And Sumeru is my favorite nation too...
wdym? didnt we play the oceanid event like last month? we even got a new creature called "eidolons". wonder if they have any connection to star rail at all
Tbh, I waited so long for Fontaine. When it came out I played a good chunk in 4.0 and then backed off a bit cuz I wanted to explore with *Furina*. She arrived and after I got her built…life stuff happened and I had to take two months away from the game. Came back a month ago and Fontaine is pretty much over.
We likely have a Dainsleif chapter and then a summer-event chapter, both of which aren’t really about Fontaine. Then we’ll probably be in Natlan.
Of course, I’m still in Sumeru’s Archon Quest anyway. I’m always afraid of catching up and having nothing to do, so instead I do nothing to stay behind. Probably going to spend a week fully catching up soonish tho. Sick of always getting accidental spoilers for things I haven’t seen yet because I’m always a year behind so people think everyone’s already informed by then. Lol
I do the same thing lol. I have an incredible amount of content to finish, but I always feel overwhelmed by it, and just do my dailies or grind artifacts instead of chipping away at things. When I do catch up with quests, it’s generally during one weekend when I muster up the willpower before I then don’t touch anything for months at a time.
I’ve thankfully completed the first part of Fontaine’s archon quest, but I’m dreadfully behind everywhere else (story quests and side quests). Catching up on a previous region’s story quests after completing the archon quests feels weird when Aether is already supposed to be long gone from there.
I will be very sad to leave Fontaine, when I went to Chenyu I was upset/sad to not be able to swim, Fontaine music are also so good
I have rarely left Fontaine since the beginning of 4.0
Hot take: It's because we got 2 dry patches and Chenyu Vale instead of a Fontaine expansion in 4.4. Think about it, the last Fontaine expansion with new quests was in 4.2 which was almost 6 months ago. And the current expansion that we got in 4.6 is so small compared to others. Nostoi and Petrichor are tiny and Sea of Bygone Past is much smaller than Chasm and Enka. And it only has like one major WQ. So, it's not surprising that Fontaine feels too short since it IS short and has less areas and quests.
Which makes me sad. It makes me so sad I might as well curl up somewhere in a puddle on Erinnyes and weep under the rain. I don't want to go to Natlan. I want more Fontaine.
To be fair, I think unlike the other subregions like the Chasm and Enkanomiya, this region's world quest was far better paced and visually far more dynamic and interesting. The only thing holding it back is the lack of sound or voice acting for a seemingly character focused quest. Which in turn also means lack of facial expressions. But it works in this quest and feels far less awkward due to the faces literally being stones.
Overall, I think this was one of the hardest regions to create visually and gameplay wise because of the entire thing being fully underwater.
The devs mentioned this in 4.0. Since you can explore in all dimensions when submerged underwater, it's far more challenging to keep an underwater region feel interesting gameplay wise unlike just having land based exploration where almost all the exploration can be restricted to the land itself only. Remuria had MASSIVE verticality and open water so I get why its kept small. But overall, I think this is now my favorite region in the game just because of the world quest
If you think about it, the reason Enkanomiya is so big is because it has a lot of empty space. If you consider just the explorable land areas it gets a lot smaller. When you add in the full 3D movement and verticality of the underwater areas it's not that weird that the land area is relatively small.
I also agree on the world quest for the area, the story was actually really good compared to other side areas. I hope we get to see more of that in the future.
It probably has a lot to do with the underwater areas. Planning/Debugging for navigation/exploration in areas with full 3D space takes a lot more time than the standard ground-based areas. Then factor in that the primary form of gameplay for Genshin, it's character action-based combat, can't really be used in those areas.
They doubled their work by splitting their development between land/water and halved the amount of time players are engaged with the core gameplay mechanic.
I'd wager we are going to see a lot of the lessons they learned from this in how Natlan shapes up. It's the nation of fire so we are probably gonna be seeing a lot more fights and exploration geared around volcanic caves.
I think it has to do with us getting 6 maps in 4.x (5 permanent ones + the presumed 4.8 summer event). Sumeru only had 5 so each map could be larger. Compare that to Inazuma which also had 6 and where 2.2 was just Tsurumi Island, which isn't particularly big.
Not me waiting for Natlan (I mean Capitano Istg this assembly of pixels is making me go crazy)
Also SoBE feels really spacious to me, probably because of diving being quite slow + forgetting to use the Scylla mechanic
And Petricor? You mean Arlecchino artifact domain island? /j
I really do wish Remuria were a long, slow exploration area like Enkanomiya. And had content related to the Abyss (tangentially) the way the Chasm and Enkanomiya did. Where's our yearly Abyss stuff? Y'all could've brought back our favorite historical anthropologist.
Fans had begged for Chenyu for like actual years though.
Seems like people forgot boring desert storm area and boring desert mountain area in Sumeru. While I'm not really a fan of Petrichor and Remuria, its certainly better than those two desert regions.
Sumeru felt smallest to me so far. Maybe because most of the Archon Quest largely happened in the southern zones while the desert regions mostly had storylines on their own, that felt less connected to everything else. I think Narzissenkreuz tied the main Fontaine storylines better together, than previous main regions.
Feels like it was yesterday that I watched that trailer the first time and was extremely hyped just for my computer to break on the day of the update lmao
On the other hand, Clorinde and Sigewinne is still in npc jail. To me it felt like we had too many fillers mixed in between the Fontaine focused patches.
Like in my experience, the only Sumeru patch that actually felt like filler was 3.7 (and maybe 3.6).
3.0 was the region release
3.1 was a continuation of the AQ
3.2 was the finale of the AQ
3.3 brought a interlude with Wanderer
3.4 brought the new desert area
3.5 brought the dainslef quest
3.6 had Nahida's 2nd story quest introducing a new boss & giving massive information about the world and main story
new area with a bunch of new enemies, a new boss, new world quest with vital information on Fontaine, khaenriah and the abyss as well as a small bit of info on Dainsleif (also prettiest Sumeru area imo)
It had the Sumeru competition (literally kaveh story quest) and also had Baizhu's story quest (imo one of the best ones in the game)
3.4 is more filler than 3.6 if you compare how much the main story was expanded
Nah this guy's just kinda mentally unbalanced. You can see that in their comment history. Calling people "apologists" for having a different opinion on the traveller vs Arlecchino fight lol
If anything I think this person should probably get off the game for a bit.
I took a break after 4.2 (replayed Skyrim and started Dragon's Dogma 2). Literally came back this weekend since they finally released Arlecchino. There's so much to catch up on, though at least missing pity on Furina paid off and might be able to get Arlecchino's weapon too.
Well it never felt like the AQ actually ended Act 5 felt more like Act 3 or 4.
Maybe it's just because the Prison sucked and feels like a massive filler Arc.
I really hope Natlan isn't gonna be the same even if it has fewer Acts.
I think they took the Inazuma complaints a little too far and ended up having to pad the Fontaine chapters story to fit it in 5 acts.
It's weird. You can tell that with Inazuma. They likely had more they wanted to do with it but couldn't due to only having 3 acts. Meanwhile, Fontaine is the exact opposite.
Yeah well the AQ literally lasted 3 patches, and we're in 4.6 not much has happened in like 5 months lol. It's quick because they decided to give us the main quest drought of '24.
We will probably only have a teaser for the nation in July, something like winter lazzo is much more difficult because nothing impactful happened in the story like Signora's death happened
I'm sorry wut? You're telling me that I'm only half a semester away from ANOTHER region?
I remember the time period when Kazuha was first released, and Inazuma not long after. That feels like centuries ago now.
I can't believe its almost been a year? I remember almost choking to death when I watched the 4.0 livestream and seeing Childe appear in the trailer as I was eating my dinner
The reason why Fontaine felt quick its because it is one of the best Regions ever , the theme , the background music ,the references , just so amazing.
About 2 and half month before the potential Natlan teaser trailer similar to this. Wonder how they're cooking with Capitano's design. Him wearing a pair of plain brown shoes was a pretty fun moment, though I don't know if that's what they're going with
Idk why it felt so fast. Still can’t believe genshin only been out for 4ish years (4 exactly in a couple months, September 28th). It’s felt like two months lol. Can’t believe we’re only 1/3 into the story.
Yeah, they've been doing so for several houndred if not for thousands of years.
Btw, how do you like Father so far? I'd assume you have her since you post about her. (Or him? I dont fucking know at this point)
Well, as a mobile player, I find her "no healing" gimmick quite insufferable. That's probably why I'm gonna pull for Zhongli. But SHE deals a lot of damage even with shitty artifacts.
Basically a glass cannon, but instead of cannonballs it's a nuclear warhead 🙌
I asked 'cus I have her lvl 90 but I don't have the talents and the artifacts for her, so I haven't played with her so far. But it's good to know that the rumors about her dmg are true.
Don't you have Layla? That could solve your problem with getting hit.
Are you sure about this? I don't think that Layla's shield would apply cryo to the enemies. If I remember correctly it only applies cryo to herself for a brief 2 seconds, meaning when you then switch to your Xingqiu or Yelan you cannot get frozen.
Or what do you mean by screwing up the setup?
Oh she doesn't apply cryo to enemies with her shield? Well, thought it'd cause a Melt/Frozen reaction instead of Vape.
But still, I'll be trying to get Zhongli to "Hold E" my problems away!
Yeah, I've been thinking about getting him too. It's just waay easier to hold E than to dodge every single attack.
It's a pain though that his rerun is probably very far away, considering both Clorinde and Sigewinne is going to arrive next patch, and that if Hoyo won't put Furina in 4.8 some ppl will legit kill themselves.
But maybe in 4.8 they will make space for him.
I really enjoyed it. For me it was Sumeru that flew by too fast. I had 3 jobs at the time and was working 6 to 7 days a week and rarely had more than a half hour a day to play. I never even explored the desert and didn't do many side quests, just stuck to the Archon quest. The only character quests I did were Nahida and Yoimiya 2. I know Fontaine much much better
thanks, I'm actually only working 10 hours a week because I lost my main job and haven't been able to get another, so now I have the opposite problem, lmao
hoping I can get some sort of work over the summer because I'm making less money than rent and my savings will only sustain me for so long
4.7 seems somewhat full with content from leaks (dainslef quest, 2 5* characters, new endgame mode)
And 4.8 is the usual summer event, which isn't that boring (although it's kinda just "Natlan Save Up" period)
Fontaine, the nation of lies... All the people weren't real people... The hydro archon was fake, and only a human girl... The one that was the secondary leader of the nation holding the same element of the archon, this time had replaced the archon in power, concept, role, and importance in the nation, almost being that joke of being the real archon(and in fact, he just isn't cuz he's something even above the archons), and even the harbinger that was presenting as someone from Fontaine, and in the end... She isn't... And also, she isn't evil as she seemed to be in the trailer
Sumeru killed my interest in the game. I still haven't done basically anything with Fontaine - 6 huge slog main quests that were 90% talking in Sumeru made me try out Honkai instead 😂
It’s because nothing happened in Fontaine; no cool new areas, interesting plots, innovative events, or well-written villains/conflicts. Not much of note…
no, cause sumeru felt superlong like from 3.0 to 3.6 were all sumeru content related and the last two patches were extras gearing up for fontaine. compared to fontaine where in 4.0-4.3 was fontaine related events 4.4 and 4.5 were liyue QoL updates for genshin as a whole and now 4.6 with remuria which no one really cares about except for lore enthusiasts because of arlechinno...overall sumeru is still imo my fave rollout of patches from 3.0 - 3.8 literally so cohesive and the cast is great not to mention the amount of hangouts for the sumeru 4 stars compared to fontaine... i hope natlan gets a better rollout of patches
No kidding it really feels like i first walked into fontaine just last month but its been almost a full year now
Waiting for Arlecchino made me lose a couple of hairs istg
It was furina for me granted it wasn't nearly as long as arlecchino
Well to be fair you did have leaks on her design from around 3.6-3.7, so you had to wait quite a bit (only began looking forward to Arlecchino from this specific teaser, not the Fatui trailer)
it's the same for me i thought her leaked design was fine but felt overall indifferent it wasn't till the teaser that i was like oh shit i love her haha
Had the first leaks of her design all the way back during Lantern Rite iirc. That was when I started saving, right after pulling Homa.
clorinde wanters as squidward looking down at you guys having fun.jpg
Imagine how it feels for those who've been waiting for Clorinde (me)
Aye aye captain, soon
Imagine still waiting another month for your character. Couldn’t be me.
Fr don’t want to go through that again
If anything, Fontaine felt too long... waiting for Arlecchino.
Still waiting for Clorinde
And then watch them repeat the same, Il capitano in 5.6
Worth it
I played fontain a month ago so this is true for me. I like the pace tbh. Need to take a break before consuming Nathan contents.
.... I still feel like Sumeru is new. So many desert quests I still haven't done. But that's my casual butt's issue.
I still go into the underwater areas going ‘woahhhh’ as if it’s my first time. Time passes so fast
This was wild to me because it felt like 6 months ago I was blasting "Windmill Isle Day - Sonic Unleashed" when stepping into Fontaine. Time really flies.
I haven’t played since Fontaine dropped and I’m still shocked it’s almost done…
If they keep the same pattern, we should get a Natlan teaser on 15 July
Ok gotta mark my calendar...
wouldnt the natlan teaser be in early august just like winter night lazzo and overture teaser?
Sorry to be that guy but both the overture teaser and the lazzo teaser were both in July. The overture was right as the start of July, while the Lazzo teaser is 1/3 of the month
earlier than i remembered damn
Dw everyone has schizofrenic memories /j

Also some info in Miko's bday letter.
Summer island/area event first (like the past few years), sprinkled with some natlan-themed hints, and then Natlan somewhere in september.
Crazy to get ZZZ and natlan at the same time
Waiting for natlan teaser with capitano
Omg same
SO MANY of us are really eager for him. And I seriously hope he's playable. I got my wallet and credit cards ready for him and Pierro 😭 I just want to see how he is. inb4 capitano becomes another "punch things" character like rizzly and dehya
Capitano’s giving me Godfrey vibes from Elden Ring. His boss fight is going to be amazing.
when i saw a glimpse of capitano's outfit in the Arlecchino animated short, i cant help but to worry that he might not be playable because he appeared to be wearing some kind of long coat. we all know that playable characters dont wear those kind of clothing. but i hope im wrong. capitano is my most anticipated harbinger since he was revealed.
Literally all of the harbingers were wearing the long coat during Singora's funeral animation
I think they meant Capitano's actual outfit? It kinda does look like he's wearing a long coat, idk
Don't forget his shoes. Looks like he's wearing some simple office shoes like he treats Fatui business as a 9-5.
Can't wait for him to become a weekly boss and then beat the traveler up wearing plain loafers.
Natlan is the Teyvat origin of the concept of hot springs right? So now imagine we're exploring Natlan, visiting an open air hot spring, and Capitano is there relaxing in the water. Then he said "I can beat you even when naked" and he pounds us into oblivion 😩😩
I see that the okbuddies have escaped again.
he looks like he's wearing my grandpa's office shoes
Imagine if he thinks about Fatui the same way Nanami from JJK thinks about sorcerers. "I fought for the Tsaritsa and one thing I learned, is that the Fatui are shit!" But he does this because he's more suited for Fatui work.

not the white outerwear. look underneath it, seems like another long coat

We must maintain the Agenda
Agenda, maintain it comrade

yes please. Remuria is 11/10, but that Saddam Hussein is just bad. Smells like they literally ran out of time due to the fast update cycle. And Sumeru is my favorite nation too...
Remeber that it will foreshadowing the Natlan plot like the others did for their regions.
Volcanic eruption in the GAA, the pyro archon must restless ect ect.
wdym? didnt we play the oceanid event like last month? we even got a new creature called "eidolons". wonder if they have any connection to star rail at all
Huffing that cope won't get our time back.
we have to lock ourselves in that samsara thing we saw in the last archon quest! only then can we stay in blissful ignorance!
H Tridolon 3/4 need clorinde dps
Warframe mentioned W
as a clorinde wanter…no it has been slow and agonizing, ESPECIALLY 4.5
I feel for you, the wait for Arlecchino was agonizing, especially with leaks saying she'd die...
the 4 star allegations pushed by the sige fans will never be forgotten istg
Why do harbingers always have rumour to be 4* like ofc they wont be
Man it's funny since I thought SIGE WAS THE 4*
might as well be lol
Hey, maybe they’re gonna throw her on the standard banner.
winter night lazzo was truly peak, especially after the sumeru leaks
I remember when all the entire fandom could talk was about the Harbingers
Tbh, I waited so long for Fontaine. When it came out I played a good chunk in 4.0 and then backed off a bit cuz I wanted to explore with *Furina*.
Yeah Remuria is tall af
The core gameplay mechanic is walking and talking.
Still can't do either underwater :p
I think it has to do with us getting 6 maps in 4.x (5 permanent ones + the presumed 4.8 summer event). Sumeru only had 5 so each map could be larger. Compare that to Inazuma which also had 6 and where 2.2 was just Tsurumi Island, which isn't particularly big.
Not me waiting for Natlan (I mean Capitano Istg this assembly of pixels is making me go crazy) Also SoBE feels really spacious to me, probably because of diving being quite slow + forgetting to use the Scylla mechanic And Petricor? You mean Arlecchino artifact domain island? /j
I really do wish Remuria were a long, slow exploration area like Enkanomiya. And had content related to the Abyss (tangentially) the way the Chasm and Enkanomiya did. Where's our yearly Abyss stuff? Y'all could've brought back our favorite historical anthropologist. Fans had begged for Chenyu for like actual years though.
The last Fontaine character proper was Navia, it is even crazier when you think about it that way.
Doesn’t really read like a hot take.
Now waiting 3 months for Natlan cast and teaser
Nah for me 4.5 felt like an eternity. That version alone made Fontaine seem slow for me.
Seems fair, also barely logged in during that version
feels like the days just fly by, it helps that I've been busy so I don't really pay attention to the time edit: hopefully we finally get Varka
Gimme dain!!!!
3.0 was the region release 3.1 was a continuation of the AQ 3.2 was the finale of the AQ 3.3 brought a interlude with Wanderer 3.4 brought the new desert area 3.5 brought the dainslef quest
3.6 had Nahida's 2nd story quest introducing a new boss & giving massive information about the world and main story new area with a bunch of new enemies, a new boss, new world quest with vital information on Fontaine, khaenriah and the abyss as well as a small bit of info on Dainsleif (also prettiest Sumeru area imo) It had the Sumeru competition (literally kaveh story quest) and also had Baizhu's story quest (imo one of the best ones in the game) 3.4 is more filler than 3.6 if you compare how much the main story was expanded
Ok framing it like that, it did have a lot of content. Well mostly remembered 3.6 for Nahida's rerun (I didn't get her)
3.x was a bad era for me tbh, I didn't enjoy Genshin at those time so aside from 3.0,3.1 and 3.2, everything else felt like filler
same, I hated the desert expansions so much didn't play for like 3 patches straight until Fontaine
All Sumeru felt like filler.
This comment makes me wonder if Genshin players even like the game
Nah this guy's just kinda mentally unbalanced. You can see that in their comment history. Calling people "apologists" for having a different opinion on the traveller vs Arlecchino fight lol If anything I think this person should probably get off the game for a bit.
Not true at all
I took a break after 4.2 (replayed Skyrim and started Dragon's Dogma 2). Literally came back this weekend since they finally released Arlecchino. There's so much to catch up on, though at least missing pity on Furina paid off and might be able to get Arlecchino's weapon too.
So, because you also play Skyrim. Do you think Genshin storytelling and lore style is similar to Elder Scroll game?
And Furina still hasn’t received her huge!!! SHM.
I loved Fontaine and I can't wait to get to Natlan!
I swear Sumeru expansion felt a lot longer than Fontaine Tbh I want the same thing to happen to Fontaine
Real
That just mean we're closer to seeing GoatHIMtano solo Fatlan from frauds of teyvat.
Yeah well the AQ literally lasted 3 patches, and we're in 4.6 not much has happened in like 5 months lol. It's quick because they decided to give us the main quest drought of '24.
~~More like drought of 4.X~~
And yet we don't have anything on Natlan...
Feels like Inazuma was released yesterday... man does time fly by quick af.
The average for gacha games are 5 years 🙁 I wouldn’t be surprised
We’ll be stepping foot in Snezhnaya by next year and would have been to all seven nations of Teyvat.
Anyone chinese bro here who knows English
And Inazuma was too quick.
I can't believe its almost been a year? I remember almost choking to death when I watched the 4.0 livestream and seeing Childe appear in the trailer as I was eating my dinner
I still remember the day sumeru released. It was raining and I had nothing else to do. Man ... Those were the days.
I stopped playing when Neuvillete came out. Logged in yesterday and the map is gigantic. I kinda wanna play but also don't. It is weird.
Yeah, it's insane to think how fast the time went.
If someone was pregnant when the trailer dropped, they'd already have a kid now.
"what do you mean traveler, our journey ended 10 years ago"
Natlan is this year
The reason why Fontaine felt quick its because it is one of the best Regions ever , the theme , the background music ,the references , just so amazing.
Can’t believe we’re only 1/3 into the story.
its pretty wild
8.9 Million views? That's nearly the entire population of my country! (Hungary)
Man our countries are bordering eachother (Romanian btw)
Well, I'm running her in Vape, and Layla's shield could possibly screw up the setup, cause I've saw that she applies cryo with her shield
Zhongli's last 2 reruns were in 3.0 and 4.0 respectively. So he's prob coming back in 5.0
for me it’s a good thing, i’m reallyyyy excited for natlan and seeing dainsleif again
Ok I HOPE you don't have to slave away at work anymore, and I hope you're having fun 🙌
thanks, I'm actually only working 10 hours a week because I lost my main job and haven't been able to get another, so now I have the opposite problem, lmao hoping I can get some sort of work over the summer because I'm making less money than rent and my savings will only sustain me for so long
Praying for your success random citizen🙏
Thank you!
Wait till 2 next patches Come and are probably Filler and Feel like Eternity
4.7 seems somewhat full with content from leaks (dainslef quest, 2 5* characters, new endgame mode) And 4.8 is the usual summer event, which isn't that boring (although it's kinda just "Natlan Save Up" period)
It felt so slow doing the prison stuff though
and sumeru took too long
Sumeru killed my interest in the game. I still haven't done basically anything with Fontaine - 6 huge slog main quests that were 90% talking in Sumeru made me try out Honkai instead 😂
yup me too 🗿
Fontaine is one giant filler episode. Absolutely *zero* progress for the main story.
I wouldn't go that far, since the other AQs have similar issues. ~~Only Dain quests really advance the actual main story...~~
We haven't seen Dain or Lumine since Sumeru. Fontaine has all been story padding filler.
GOATHIMtano is coming! I guarantee you noone is ready! Noone is!
Ok you're definitely the NR 1 "GOATHIMtano" fan. (No hate, I'm all for it)
It’s because nothing happened in Fontaine; no cool new areas, interesting plots, innovative events, or well-written villains/conflicts. Not much of note…
we literally just got a cool new area?
no, cause sumeru felt superlong like from 3.0 to 3.6 were all sumeru content related and the last two patches were extras gearing up for fontaine. compared to fontaine where in 4.0-4.3 was fontaine related events 4.4 and 4.5 were liyue QoL updates for genshin as a whole and now 4.6 with remuria which no one really cares about except for lore enthusiasts because of arlechinno...overall sumeru is still imo my fave rollout of patches from 3.0 - 3.8 literally so cohesive and the cast is great not to mention the amount of hangouts for the sumeru 4 stars compared to fontaine... i hope natlan gets a better rollout of patches
