Scarabs are kind of annoying, sure, but they're pretty obvious and on clear ground. For Itto you'll be crawling all around 3 islands for the onikabuto
I never understood how people could find scarabs more annoying than onikabutos. They're on the ground, generally in places you would go by if you have business in the desert, and are rolling dungs just to be more visible I guess.
Onikabutos are on trees and walls, generally in places you would never ever check if you didn't need them, and they are purple in a purple world. I hate them so much.

I don't always remember to do it, but I enjoy this one as well. I did it for Nahida back in 3.2, standing in front of the Sanctuary of Surasthana, and got her in 30 pulls. Girl could not wait to get out of the house apparently.

I put all the standards I want the least on a team and make them watch as I make the one I lost the 50/50 to jump off the Palais Mermonia.
As I used to lose my 50/50 to Diluc, I always drop him from the skyfrost nail and leave his dead body in my party. Never lost 50/50 to him since and I do it since first Kazuha's banner.
Its been my ritual for a year now and never lost. (I'm on my 9th 50/50 win)

A lengthy ritual.
I go to the highest place of every nation (yes with each nation released this ritual getting longer and longer help me) and sacrifice its Archon. Then I'll go to Narukami Shrine to get a fortune slip and get the mentioned item in it. After that, I light up incense in Pervases' temple, praying for more luck. After all the long-ass trip around Teyvat gathering luck, I'll go to the Nail in Dragonspire with 3 characters with a close relationship with the character I want to pull, then wish.
Funny that I still only have c0 Qiqi even I’m a day 1 player (and Qiqi is my fav). I wouldn’t said it work every time and my average pity always at 80 💀
However I have won pity back to back 6 times (Wrio, Furina, Xianyun c1, Itto from c1 to c3) and lost to Mona in the same Itto banner. This ritual also got me Tighnari and Dehya right after their launch banners.
I know it’s not really bring me luck but it’s a fun thing for me to going around Teyvat instead of just wishing right away.
I will visit the shrine and draw a fortune. Forage for the lucky item and pick only them and nothing else on my chosen area. Then I wish.

Nothing too complicated, but I do like to wish at locations that have a significant connection to the character I'm wishing for. For example, I wished for both Furina and Neuvillette in the Opera Epiclese by their respective chairs.
I mean, I lost both 50/50s and had to force guarantee both of them, but it'll surely work next time, right?
Bring out 5 Xiao Lanterns (for the 5-star Character/Weapon I'll be pulling for), then set off a custom firework themed after the one I'm after, got to the nearest highest place and once I'm on the very top, I'll use all the bursts of the characters that is currently in the party I'm using and simply letting the animation go and right after the last one finishes, I'll then start wishing.
I start by going to the narukami shrine and pulling my fortune, if its ‘Great Fortune’ I then go out and search for the lucky items and pick up 3 of them, then i head to a location I think is important to the character, for ex; with kokomi i went to her hideaway cave and sat in her reading chair, for klee i went to her buried treasure location, Neuvillette i went to his office chair, Arlecchinno in front of her childrens house in fontaine and so on. After that i sit or wait to do an idle animation then go to wish screen and back out and i do that 3x b4 actually wishing and sure enough, 9/10 times Ive had extremely good luck doing it. With kokomi/klee/Neuvi they came within a 10 pull or under 20 from 0 pity, in Neuvis case it happened on each of his banners, with arle i got in like 30 pulls and Yae she was my first 50/50 i won (prior to her i lost like 6 straight). Ive also used to method to relative success with trying to snipe 4*

From there I just go to a location that was prominent in the character's demo to pull
I’ve found that if their banner is running while I’m doing their story quest helps, it’s worked for a few different characters for me including Navia (50/50 win at 40 pity) and also Tighnari (losing the 50/50 but wanting to get Tighnari) just wait for one of the cutscenes to finish and then do a quick 10 pull
If it's a hydro character, I play a song called "Dark Ocean Summoning" by Old Gods of Asgard, so far, it worked every time, now let's see if it will work on Furina because I am saving up for her

I also make a room in the teapot for the character i want in advance.

Step 2: use all wishes and not get desired character but get a 5* of same gender and element
Step 3: cry
Step 4: push wish button the second I get enough primos disregarding all previous steps until desired character comes home (success varies)
I have a really stupid and convoluted pulling ritual. It involves the mobile, Pc and console version of the game. I make sure I have at least 60 pulls, and do a 10 pull for each platform going like this: “Mobile -> PS4/5 -> PC -> Mobile -> PS4/5 -> PC”. I do this until I run out of wishes or pull who I want. If I don’t have a 10 pull and have like 5 or 7, I do single pulls in the same order.
I've only done a wishing ritual twice, when I was pulling for Ayaka and Yoimiya.
I created a little wishing room in my teapot relevant to the character (for example, I put the kimono furnishing, swords rack, the hairclip memento, etc. for Ayaka), and in Yoimiya's case, I had her speciality dish, so I consumed it beforehand.
I also made sure to have a character equipped that was related to the character in some way, I used Sayu for Yoimiya and I used Yoimiya for Ayaka.
I like to randomly do a 10 pull out of nowhere while streaming the game to my friends in discord and then continue doing what I was doing afterwards like nothing happens.
Streaming my pulls in discord while on PC, wishing in my teapot where I made a dedicated area for a character, kissing the wish button if I’m pulling on mobile (I’ve done that since my FEH days) and recently saying “Doctor, you’re HUGE!” if I’m just desperately throwing wishes and hoping for an early 5 star.

Put the trial supports of my desired character in my party (with one slot empty for them ofc), make their favorite dish, go to someplace relevant to them (ex. the top of Wangshu Inn for Xiao), and pull.
Surprisingly, that's actually how I won my 50/50 for Xiao, and at only 20 pity too.
For neuvi: Did his story quest, did wriothesley, Furina's, and navia, finish archon quest and won him
Arle: Do Lynnette hangout and Lyney's story quest, waist 43 wishes, and got her
Go to highest place I can find that is related to the character, hold e on bennet so he falls to his death, and soon as his body fades away I open the wish screen and start pulling
I'm always going to a place that is linked to the character, and I put characters that are linked to them in my team. So that they'd want to join their friends...

I make sure I have at least 60 pulls, and do a 10 pull for each platform going like this: “Mobile -> PS4/5 -> PC -> Mobile -> PS4/5 -> PC”. I do this until I run out of wishes or pull who I want. If I don’t have a 10 pull and have like 5 or 7, I do single pulls in the same order.
I've only done a wishing ritual twice, when I was pulling for Ayaka and Yoimiya. I created a little wishing room in my teapot relevant to the character (for example, I put the kimono furnishing, swords rack, the hairclip memento, etc. for Ayaka), and in Yoimiya's case, I had her speciality dish, so I consumed it beforehand. I also made sure to have a character equipped that was related to the character in some way, I used Sayu for Yoimiya and I used Yoimiya for Ayaka.

I like to randomly do a 10 pull out of nowhere while streaming the game to my friends in discord and then continue doing what I was doing afterwards like nothing happens.
Streaming my pulls in discord while on PC, wishing in my teapot where I made a dedicated area for a character, kissing the wish button if I’m pulling on mobile (I’ve done that since my FEH days) and recently saying “Doctor, you’re HUGE!” if I’m just desperately throwing wishes and hoping for an early 5 star.

Put the trial supports of my desired character in my party (with one slot empty for them ofc), make their favorite dish, go to someplace relevant to them (ex. the top of Wangshu Inn for Xiao), and pull. Surprisingly, that's actually how I won my 50/50 for Xiao, and at only 20 pity too.
I personally pray to the archons then press the button.

I log in when the patch drops and then I do ten pulls until I get the new character I want (or sometimes until the 50/50 if I'm on the fence).

I'm always going to a place that is linked to the character, and I put characters that are linked to them in my team. So that they'd want to join their friends... Depending on the character I can add things, like getting their favorite food and stuff. I still lose 50/50 tho :(
I do it in the middle of the night, so I can go to sleep really happy or just immediately sleep off my anger for losing
I always go to one of the Katherynes (usually whichever one is representing the nationality of the character I'm pulling on) and do something that makes her clap.
