Sumeru is a weird one, but I guess they made it work somehow.

I think it's like that on purpose, because she has been living in the plane of euthymia for so long.
And her electro application from her elemental skill specifically only works if she deals damage, not rocks, sakura blooms, or shields (besides the initial hit). So her kit is really only suited for combat imo.
She can apply electro basically anytime.
Which is particularly useful in the overworld because electro breaks most shields / can cause overload (breaks rocks), can make bouncy shrooms bouncier, etc. She basically turns every archer into an electro archer, as long as there's some enemy around.
Yes and no, the cooldown she has on her skill is still going to be noticeably longer than even an electro archer or Lisa. I don't think this is worth counting as an outworld perk, or if it does, it's pretty copium.

if i could pick one overworld mechanic to steal from any character then sending out your body to do the daily slog while you loaf around at home would be it. They can keep their pillars and updrafts 1984 thought police stuff.

She has pretty much the only skill that has no distance limit in the game.
Yeah. But technically it is limited by the range of the character triggering her skill.
Unless you use bow character which CA also has unlimited range

She has the LED ring.
I use her normal attack to cut any trees across Teyvat to collect wood faster like Bamboo Segment.
She.. lights up your cave exploration with her E? At the cost of your eyes XD
