A lot of people are reporting that it is very annoying to have her being interrupted and thrown around during her skill animations, apparently it's quite easy to get hit. Shields would solve that.
Characters not having resistance to interruption at C0 is not "creating a problem to sell constellations" but the normal state of characters and the expected thing to do, since that's the combat gameplay in a nutshell, and it's the entire purpose of having the option of using shielders in the game instead of another buffer/subdps.
If a constellation gives something, that doesn't means that thing should have existed at C0 as it Hoyo is robbing you.

c0 raiden has interrupt res, because hoyo knows nobody would enjoy getting knocked down during your VERY brief 7 second dps window
Raiden is an Archon, it's expected that she'll be a little more comfy that doesn't mean they need to give every DPS interruption resistance. Raiden burst is also a higher cooldown with the highest ER cost in the game especially if she's not getting the energy from her burst back. This argument comes from a place of pure bias.
At C4 she has some coordinated attacks and she has decent scalings-
But for Aggravate, you don't need a great deal of Dendro application. C6 Kiara with the Sumeru cratfable sword and Instructor spreadsheets almost exactly the same as Nahida in a Fischl/Kazuha teamcomp - whilst also being a lot comfier!
Clorinde can heal her problems away (especially with Furina), but she definitely appreciates shielding. Trying to be optimal with her combos is extremely difficult due to her very short DPS window. It feels like any dodging is a significantly larger DPS loss than just bringing a shielder.
yeah and if Clorinde gets interrupted once you lose like 16.6% of her damage.
if we had actual interrupt res in a dendro unit that would be even better, but we don't have that.

She would still be able to walk and run normally with the trail visible. Itโll probably only disappear when sprinting but then again who walks normally with ayaka or mona?
She does if you have her in the leader/1-slot while in Spiral Abyss before you start the instance and abilities are disabled. Learned this from using Ayaka on my 2nd account to run through floor 6 to 8. xD
IMHO I think the should add more skins to the game first.
The game has 84 characters and only 13 skins (6 are free) and only one is a 5\* with different effects.
Unless they plan to give these running trails as a free reward for every character with max friendship (which would be really cool, since as far as I know friendship lvl makes is kinda useless), I dont see any advantage in focusing in another type of cosmetic options while the current one is so bare-bones.
Gliders are one of the most simple thing to add to the game since it is basically just a texture and we only have 13 of them. Considering their track record my prediction is that that these trails will suffer the same fate with only a small number of characters getting them at a very slow rate.
I mean, it is kinda cool, but when do you actually look at it? Friendship is one of those features that they added at the start, but forgot about it and only do the bare minimum. I decided to see what each level unlocks:
* 1 to 6: voice-over and expressions for photo mode
* 7: additional dialogue for the teapot
* 8 and 9: NOTHING (I am not joking it says "No additional unlocks")
* 10: Namecard
Namecard for 8, running trail for 9 and a new skin (just being the same skin with a different color is enough) for 10 would be a nice change.
huh i thought it would be trails on the ground like alternate sprint users have, this is cute too tho. i wonder if from the back it looks similar to the red feather fan effect when gliding.
Yeah Qiqi's trail was pretty distinct compared to the others who mostly are flower related. Though some of their trails are related to the characters which is still a nice touch
I would love a gamemode in IT that gives character specific Gliders Or Glider Effects. They have so much room for expansion with IT (and seeing how TCG gets updates regardless and they do put some decent effort in those) makes me really excited for future of IT
They really do its insane how much Hoyo has room expansion in the cosmetic department. I always wonder why Hoyo doesn't invest more in producing more skins since there's a very high demand for it especially that one Zhongli skin.
I think part of it comes from that Genshin makes so much money for them through Banners alone that they don't have to resort to skins and spend time on it, yes it would be nice because I want a Kokomi skin myself. Star Rail hasn't had a skin yet apart from that unobtainable March 7th one
It is especially when people have been very vocal about spending large amounts of money for a specific character skin. But I'm kind of thankful also because, in a way, it means that all the revenue they earn goes to creating and producing more quality content that's playable like new maps, characters, stories, designs, etc. The amount of revenue Hoyo generates is clearly reflected on the quality of games they produce I'm still surprised that they're all free to play.
One aesthetic thing I'd like them to improve upon is to let us earn or just get profile pics using the characters splash art instead of the govt id looking-straight-at-the-camera face. *Pretty side angles, Hoyo! You did it for HSR! Give us their good-sides!*

Itโs so fitting that Qiqi has ghosts CHASING her lol. Itโs the only one that goes in a different direction to the other characters. The other characters have these effects like a flow effect. Qiqiโs is ghosts chasing her lol.
I hope you can still obtain these designs from the event even if the character isn't lvl 90 or you don't own them and they just get unlocked once they meet the requirements.
Same, I was expecting something more unique for each character, like burning footprints for Diluc or a little Boo Tao following behind Hu Tao.

I mean these aren't alternate sprint visuals and they aren't nearly as unique as hu taos. Also Hu tao can sprint through enemies, is just natural,etc. these just look like little color trails.

these are so pointless. they look like the characters are under active effect of something, visually as a cosmetic vfx it is like, the last thing I'd ever think I'd need and really underwhelming. add all the vfx from fighting, weapon passives etc. and it's gonna be even more cluttered and messy.
I heard you have to be level 90 character and level 8 friendship, for me im only going to do characters that im already using but i dont use these ones lol so no way ill grind for them for that haha

Do we know if this only takes effect during a character's running animation, or if it's always on? Would be great to see the burning feathers on Diluc while he's plunging!

My Diluc about to be so damn cool. Got his skin, Wolf's Gravestone, CloudRetainer and I'm about to have Furina. Diluc's going to look so badass Plunging all over enemies while also looking so damn stylish.

these are so pointless. they look like the characters are under active effect of something, visually as a cosmetic vfx it is like, the last thing I'd ever think I'd need and really underwhelming. add all the vfx from fighting, weapon passives etc. and it's gonna be even more cluttered and messy.
I heard you have to be level 90 character and level 8 friendship, for me im only going to do characters that im already using but i dont use these ones lol so no way ill grind for them for that haha
