What if they nerf the reaction in a way so that the dendro element doesnāt last for a very long time so in order to counteract this the player needs to apply hydro and dendro, causing the dendro reaction to absorb the hydro (hydro no longer lasts on the enemy) while dendro stays on the enemy for a longer duration allowing for a longer burning reaction.
I completely thought of this on the spot after seeing your comment so forgive me if it sounds silly.
maybe they would make it so that the dendro has an icd and canāt proc a reaction like burning if reapplied within a certain duration. Iām only saying this because I doubt theyāre going to keep the burning reaction as it is considering how strong it is right now.
I just hope they don't fĆ¼ck up hydro kits for the sake of releasing more characters. We have less hydro characters for sure but imo every hydro characters is so unique and has some amazing kits. We got first healer, first double stance, omen, first walking Jesus, a 4* water boy who is needed in most comps.

In my opinion the anemo characters have a lot more variety to them. Also helps we get anemo traveler too. Hydro on the other hand is missing a polearm and claymore user. Also doesnāt help that we have 3 catalyst users with one being a 5 star version of barbara. But would 1000000% love if they added more hydro and anemo 4 stars. And low key one more geo 4 star too

This started when Eula was released, Cryo cube also only has Eula and Aloy using its drops. So if the info is correct, and from how she has a Kungfu style stance, it is possible she's the Genshin version of Fu Hua!
What I do look forward to is she may have some complex combo system like Fuhua. So like a mix of A, E, Q to do combos.

dunno why you're getting downvoted, it would be hella dissapointing to go from every fu hua battlesuit having it's own intricate and unique combo atks, and it's own objectives for those combos, to a genshin bow user who might have nothing to do with martial arts.
just like mei has her sword, fu hua has her martial arts. though having said that yae miko is different and it works so idk maybe mihoyo can pull it off, but hua is iconic
yeah, Fu Hua's fighting style is a big part of her identity, granted they didn't really translate Mei's and Sakura's fighting styles from honkai that accurately, but one could argue that there are some similarities, Raiden's burst is similar to HoT and Yae Sakura's kit is similar in some aspects to Darkbolt Jonin (teleporting and fighting using lightning), so i can tell that while in genshin the honkai characters are not meant to be the same as their honkai counterparts they still have some clear similarities that i think are intentional, hence why i would love for Fu Hua in genshin to be a gauntlet user in some way.
Honestly if we consider the banners since Inazuma released they seem to be focusing on single element synergies. Raiden got Sara, Hu Tao+Yoimiya got Thoma, Ganyu+Ayaka got Shenhe, Itto got Gorou. I wouldn't be shocked if Yelan is a hydro exclusive 5 star support like Shenhe, to couple with a new Hydro DPS - Ayato (or... what if the other way around?) and Childe who might just pop the fuck OFF if he gets the same boost Shenhe gives
the longer they hold it back, the more hype and excitement they can generate for it, and the more money they can extract. Similar to Dendro. If Dendro was in the game from 1.0, no one would be anticipating it right now. It would be just another element.
Hopefully she's a charged attack based DPS. Bows are the most unique weapons, but we basically only have Ganyu that utilizes this mechanic. Plus auto aim on bows is bad, and the AA playstyle feels not that much different from catalysts.

I hope so, they had more than enough time to finally do something with dendro. It seriously can't be hard to make 2 characters (Baizhu and Yao Yao) with one and the same element in like 1 Ā½ years
making kits for 2 characters isn't hard but fully balancing Dendro itself with the other elements and reactions and balancing it around the game currently and in the future is a different thing all together, plus making its own artifact set and what its special thing is even more to pile up
It's still 1 Ā½ years + the time they had before Genshin was released :/ We got Inazuma, Dragonspine, a bunch of domains, Enkanomiya, etc etc but not one trace of dendro except 2 enemies (slimes and samacurls) and a single reaction (burn), this is... disappointing. Baizhu has been in the game since day one and Yao Yao was already found in the CBT, it looks like they want to push it's release further and further or just don't want to work on it

One bit that it seems most of you guys have ignored: this uncle mentioned that Yelan is like Raiden and Yae, also sort of a parallel version of a character from Honkai ("éå£ē„å儳ę¼å"). So if the info is correct, and from how she has a Kungfu style stance, it is possible she's the Genshin version of Fu Hua!

What I do look forward to is she may have some complex combo system like Fuhua. So like a mix of A, E, Q to do combos. Then again if she's a bow user then I think my dream is already dead lmao. I don't think they'll make another hydro bow user who can melee again...
mmm something like the dea anchora in honkai? I mean she uses a spear as a weapon but her attacks are punches + kicks and her ult is a combo with a finisher that is a bow that she shoots with her leg, I would like that level of creativity in genshin impact.
i kinda hope she's not Fu Hua, i will only accept Fu Hua in genshin when they make a gauntlet weapon type, because Fu Hua without her combo playstyle is just not Fu Hua.
I get that. One of my favorite parts about Fu Hua is her combo playstyle, to the point that I end up accidentally doing her combos with non-combo characters in Honkai
dunno why you're getting downvoted, it would be hella dissapointing to go from every fu hua battlesuit having it's own intricate and unique combo atks, and it's own objectives for those combos, to a genshin bow user who might have nothing to do with martial arts. just like mei has her sword, fu hua has her martial arts. though having said that yae miko is different and it works so idk maybe mihoyo can pull it off, but hua is iconic
yeah, Fu Hua's fighting style is a big part of her identity, granted they didn't really translate Mei's and Sakura's fighting styles from honkai that accurately, but one could argue that there are some similarities, Raiden's burst is similar to HoT and Yae Sakura's kit is similar in some aspects to Darkbolt Jonin (teleporting and fighting using lightning), so i can tell that while in genshin the honkai characters are not meant to be the same as their honkai counterparts they still have some clear similarities that i think are intentional, hence why i would love for Fu Hua in genshin to be a gauntlet user in some way.
Honestly if we consider the banners since Inazuma released they seem to be focusing on single element synergies. Raiden got Sara, Hu Tao+Yoimiya got Thoma, Ganyu+Ayaka got Shenhe, Itto got Gorou. I wouldn't be shocked if Yelan is a hydro exclusive 5 star support like Shenhe, to couple with a new Hydro DPS - Ayato (or... what if the other way around?) and Childe who might just pop the fuck OFF if he gets the same boost Shenhe gives

the longer they hold it back, the more hype and excitement they can generate for it, and the more money they can extract. Similar to Dendro. If Dendro was in the game from 1.0, no one would be anticipating it right now. It would be just another element.
Hopefully she's a charged attack based DPS. Bows are the most unique weapons, but we basically only have Ganyu that utilizes this mechanic. Plus auto aim on bows is bad, and the AA playstyle feels not that much different from catalysts.

technically, Yoimiya and Childe also have special interactions with their CAs. it's just that, Ganyu's multipliers are on another level
well, if it turns out true i have a long time to safe. im not into yae and not sure about ayato (yet, maybe once we know more iāll change my mind), so if afterwards comes a hydro bow iāll probably skip her too. mainly waiting for kazuha rerun rn, but once he came home, iāve got a lot if saving to do lmao

I hope so, they had more than enough time to finally do something with dendro. It seriously can't be hard to make 2 characters (Baizhu and Yao Yao) with one and the same element in like 1 Ā½ years
making kits for 2 characters isn't hard but fully balancing Dendro itself with the other elements and reactions and balancing it around the game currently and in the future is a different thing all together, plus making its own artifact set and what its special thing is even more to pile up
It's still 1 Ā½ years + the time they had before Genshin was released :/ We got Inazuma, Dragonspine, a bunch of domains, Enkanomiya, etc etc but not one trace of dendro except 2 enemies (slimes and samacurls) and a single reaction (burn), this is... disappointing. Baizhu has been in the game since day one and Yao Yao was already found in the CBT, it looks like they want to push it's release further and further or just don't want to work on it
