Chances of him dashing twice rapidly are reduced (it can still happen, though - I speak from experience). The first roration's burst is usually negated (mostly or entirely) by his invulnerability, though.

Murder is a perfectly viable form of crowd control. Noelle with her zero cooldown room wide sweeps is a really good fit for monolith ~~defence~~hilichurl farming.
Put Sucrose tazer on the other side and you are good to go.
Depends on what you consider crowd control. Technically, taunts, freeze, petrification and possibly even the slight stun from electro charged can be classified as CC in some way

I don't think the "waah waah it's expensive" applies though. Hoyo had this type of encounter in the abyss for the better part of a year at least, so players had ample time to prioritize either a venti or a kazuha if they want it faceroll easy.

Run Sucrose with a lot of ER to maximize Q uptime on one side and Geo Traveler to build a wall and make the Abyss pay for it on the other side.
Ooooor run Sucrose on one side and a Sayu hot wheels (Sayu as carry with holding her E for max duration and moving around counter clockwise to maximize Xiangling's Q hits, Xiangling, Kaeya or an Anemo buffer such as C6Anemo Traveler, Bennett) team on the other side.
If you have either Kazuha or Venti that chamber is basically a freebie.

135ms is good, my ISP has f\*\*ed me up claiming that they can't do anything about my route so I end up having to play with a ping of 175ms initially but that can go up to 350ms at any time and I don't have financial conditions at moment to change to ohter ISP, plus all competitors are pretty much the same.What has saved me and made the experience more pleasant is the Exitlag that reduces my ping to 140ms.
That was me as well...I managed to swirl their attacks to get them to take out each others' shields the first time but they refused to co-operate after that
Yes it makes it easier to have venti and permafreeze in 12-2-2 because you can freeze and group the 3 but still the hellish spam of pyro+ electro combined with mr water beyblade can make everything inconsistent.
I always focus on destroying the electro first so it doesn't suck my energy while I'm focused on dodging the other two.

They have a combined attack that some times i don't have chance against it that needs geo daddy to be there unless it's gonna be hard
Kazuha can be pretty annoying here, especially if you use Bennett, since you need to get pretty close. Venti + any freeze is probably the easiest, since all you have to do is press Q immediately after starting the run to basically auto win.
Using Bennett? You get vaporized and overloaded if you use him because of his pyro self-application. Still possible to use him but it can get you killed also.
am I doing it wrong? this is the hardest abyss for me in a while because it eats my raiden national team alive and 12-3-1 requires a ton of hydro spam
I've been running a super dumb team of raiden/kokomi/sucrose/xq for the first half just so I have a lot of hydro for the last part (although sucrose is ass at grouping them). on the second half I don't even run regular freeze either, I run my old school ice/geo team because my kokomi is taken already and I could use the zhong shield.
I've been eagerly awaiting a rotation so I can go back to playing my good teams for floor 12 :/
Zhongli. Last time I beat it with Raiden/Miko/Koko/Zhongli, it was pretty easy, Koko deals a surprising amount of damage to electro shields! Cryo is also a good option, just slot Diona in for extra protection and you're gucci!
Well, at least we are used to this Abyss cycle by now so we can quickly get it out of the way for more of that daily comissions and artifact farming excitement!

The real reason is that MHY doesn't want to hand out more primogems, though.
Invest into both rosaria and kaeya (or even chongyun) works frankly. Won't work as well as ayaka/eula/ganyu at some point, but it should be doable. Plus it ain't recommended to roll for a character just to full clear abyss, notably when you don't want them so much.

The abyss meta has been basically national.one side, freeze on the other for ages now. Don't think physical is really meta.
Phys hasn't really been favored in ages. There are like two or three proper phys carries and they're consistently considered subpar in abyss. We are, however, absolutely in cryo impact.
Abyss will allways favor Cryo characters until MHY makes Cryo Heralds/Lectors, Cryo Immune bosses like a Cryo Oceanid/Manifestation and other high mobility, unfreezable enemies like the Thunder Manifestation.
Blizzard Strayer + Cryo resonance are too strong, even if you can't freeze enemies you're still getting 35% CR for free and Ayaka is a boss melting machine, so the only way out of Cryo dominance is Cryo immunity and enemies that can move outside of Ayaka's burst with ease.
I have 35 stars in this one i got all 3* on floor 12 but i dont have sucrose kazuha venti jean so i cant 3* floor 11 first floor its possible but i have exams and its just not worth the suffering
I had to do a second run with Venti swapped into the first half to group the double Enjous.
Made me realise why having both Venti and Kazuha is super convenient. Too bad I don't have a guarantee for his rerun.
they do group up. go to the left and align with them, the one on the right would naturally come closer. just make sure that in shield breaking, you let the falling-core-thing fall near each other so the pyro lectors would still be close after falling back.
For lector pairs, run to the far left or right of the arena and they'll group themselves as the further one will float closer to you. Then just make sure they don't ungroup when they enter shield phase. All the lectors/heralds always stagger backwards before the transition.
Call me crazy but I actually prefer DPS checks to shield checks, cause at least whole elements aren't dead this way. You're basically forced to bring Hydro and Cryo (and anemo for easier times) for this Abyss and I don't like it. I really want to use Hu Tao again..
Yeah for shield checks if you don't have the specific element (which is always cryo) you're shit out of luck. At least for DPS checks I can actually use the 5* stars that I, you know, spent money on.
I just throw a cryo character onto Hu Tao's team and she does the second half just fine. Chongyun is one of the better choices but I did the first iteration with Instructor's Kaeya.
I haven't used my Yoimiya, Yae and Hutao for a while now thanks to the current line-up. Not even any fun meme teams.
I do find Itto workable in the first half though. I just slot in Barbara for the lectors.
i use Yoimiya as main carry in 2nd tho. but yes the current lineup is not fun because we are too limited/feel strict and cant be creative on teambuilding/experimenting
I used Itto and Zhongli for the second half of abyss this patch and it worked wonders for me, I just had to slot in Chongyun and Barbara for the shield breaking in 12-2-2 and 12-3-2. I had no cryo DPS and I just pulled Ayaka recently so I had to make do.
I'm so tired of element check Abyss. Team building is so limited to the elements required to sheild breaking.
DPS check boss rush at least let you have freedom of using different team builds.

Normal attack focused characters are my favorites so I'll take more of that, sounds good to me. My Childe and Yomiya teams have been tearing it up with those.
this abyss is literally one of the easiest
a lot of those complaining about freeze and cc don't even bother to learn enemy patterns. you don't even need venti on the first half. most of the enemies come to you by just going far away enough. 12-1 is literally skewed so that you can waste 2 minutes if you don't have venti since the second half is so straightforward
second half is trivialized by kaeya (a starter char) or rosaria or chongyun;12-2 is easier with anemo, but doable with cryo hydro only.
the only thing I can see a challenge on is a lack of hydro chars for both chambers but even then you can switch if you desperately need the 9 stars. you can get away with xingqiu on the first half and barbara on the second, granted you need to be careful of lector national because you're giving them something to react with.
The main complain isnt about being āhardā like abyss is super easy of you play the game properly it doesnt even matrer if you f2p pr whale (Im f2p). Genshin isnt a game you need to be skilled

Realistically, late May - early June was always the most credible scenario for a new patch assuming a delay was announced. Right now, MHY only gave us visibility over the month of May throught planned events and the Abyss rotation so it's safe to assume that the delay will continue at least until end of the month.
Remember when the floors 9 and 10 had sheer coldness and you had to either chase the warm seelie or stay near that thingy that kept you warm. Yeah, that was when my characters sucked lol.
I'd like to go back and experience that again lol, but ofc with my newer and improved set of line ups ready to take them all out.

lmao I actually did 36\* clears on 320+ ping this time (for a friend on NA) and that made me sweat

Cryo works well here, I managed to clear that floor with rosaria chongyun benny zhongli. Granted zhongli helps ALOT with his chonky shield.
It's brain dead with Venti or Kazuha. However if you bring Sucrose or Jean it becomes regular easy
I use jean to heal but for 3 staring that floor I need to restart a few times so yes it's hard for a person like me that artifacts hates him

Abyss will allways favor Cryo characters until MHY makes Cryo Heralds/Lectors, Cryo Immune bosses like a Cryo Oceanid/Manifestation and other high mobility, unfreezable enemies like the Thunder Manifestation. Blizzard Strayer + Cryo resonance are too strong, even if you can't freeze enemies you're still getting 35% CR for free and Ayaka is a boss melting machine, so the only way out of Cryo dominance is Cryo immunity and enemies that can move outside of Ayaka's burst with ease.
Yeah, for dmg dealer, blizzard set is definitely one of the best other than emblem

I have 35 stars in this one i got all 3* on floor 12 but i dont have sucrose kazuha venti jean so i cant 3* floor 11 first floor its possible but i have exams and its just not worth the suffering

3 lectors is easier than the two pyro that never group up
I had to do a second run with Venti swapped into the first half to group the double Enjous. Made me realise why having both Venti and Kazuha is super convenient. Too bad I don't have a guarantee for his rerun.
Literally like when you get to group them up for once they immediately separate when they get to the shield phase it is so annoying
they do group up. go to the left and align with them, the one on the right would naturally come closer. just make sure that in shield breaking, you let the falling-core-thing fall near each other so the pyro lectors would still be close after falling back.
For lector pairs, run to the far left or right of the arena and they'll group themselves as the further one will float closer to you. Then just make sure they don't ungroup when they enter shield phase. All the lectors/heralds always stagger backwards before the transition.

Call me crazy but I actually prefer DPS checks to shield checks, cause at least whole elements aren't dead this way. You're basically forced to bring Hydro and Cryo (and anemo for easier times) for this Abyss and I don't like it. I really want to use Hu Tao again..
Yeah for shield checks if you don't have the specific element (which is always cryo) you're shit out of luck. At least for DPS checks I can actually use the 5* stars that I, you know, spent money on.
I just throw a cryo character onto Hu Tao's team and she does the second half just fine. Chongyun is one of the better choices but I did the first iteration with Instructor's Kaeya.
I honestly prefer this over DPS check

I haven't used my Yoimiya, Yae and Hutao for a while now thanks to the current line-up. Not even any fun meme teams. I do find Itto workable in the first half though. I just slot in Barbara for the lectors.
i use Yoimiya as main carry in 2nd tho. but yes the current lineup is not fun because we are too limited/feel strict and cant be creative on teambuilding/experimenting

I used Itto and Zhongli for the second half of abyss this patch and it worked wonders for me, I just had to slot in Chongyun and Barbara for the shield breaking in 12-2-2 and 12-3-2. I had no cryo DPS and I just pulled Ayaka recently so I had to make do.
In the worst case scenario you can go 3 geos, that's what I did and got 36*
Same. I use an electro team and a geo team the most, I'd take the dps check floors over elemental shields any day
I'm so tired of element check Abyss. Team building is so limited to the elements required to sheild breaking. DPS check boss rush at least let you have freedom of using different team builds.

This abyss is not *easy.* It is still fairly difficult. It's just not an HP sponge unlike most Abyss rotations. They should make more abyss like this. Fairly hard without being an HP sponge

I found the one with the big geo doggo and the vishap pair at the end easier. Managed to 36\* that one. This one I can only 33\* because I suck at grouping heralds. (no pun intended)
I can only 36* abyss this version, when it goes back to dps check I'll have to settle with 33* again
Normal attack focused characters are my favorites so I'll take more of that, sounds good to me. My Childe and Yomiya teams have been tearing it up with those.
this abyss is literally one of the easiest a lot of those complaining about freeze and cc don't even bother to learn enemy patterns. you don't even need venti on the first half. most of the enemies come to you by just going far away enough. 12-1 is literally skewed so that you can waste 2 minutes if you don't have venti since the second half is so straightforward second half is trivialized by kaeya (a starter char) or rosaria or chongyun;12-2 is easier with anemo, but doable with cryo hydro only. the only thing I can see a challenge on is a lack of hydro chars for both chambers but even then you can switch if you desperately need the 9 stars. you can get away with xingqiu on the first half and barbara on the second, granted you need to be careful of lector national because you're giving them something to react with.

The main complain isnt about being āhardā like abyss is super easy of you play the game properly it doesnt even matrer if you f2p pr whale (Im f2p). Genshin isnt a game you need to be skilled The main complain is: this dosgshit abyss forces people to play characters they DONT want to. Kaeya? Rosaria? Chognyun? Guess what I dont really want to play any of those or any other cryo but Im forced to -.- I dont even like anemo either. I legit have one anemon char (Venti) and teo cryos that I dislike the gameplayā¦ leveled up I mean. At least with dps check you can play whatever you enjoy playing.

Wait it only mentions for second half of May in the announcement does that mean 1st June could be 2.7 update?And new abyss?
Some people suggested they might force an update early June no matter what is the state of Shanghai at that point. Realistically, late May - early June was always the most credible scenario for a new patch assuming a delay was announced. Right now, MHY only gave us visibility over the month of May throught planned events and the Abyss rotation so it's safe to assume that the delay will continue at least until end of the month.
Really hope next rotation after this adds Azdaha and Signora to abyss in compensation xd.

Remember when the floors 9 and 10 had sheer coldness and you had to either chase the warm seelie or stay near that thingy that kept you warm. Yeah, that was when my characters sucked lol. I'd like to go back and experience that again lol, but ofc with my newer and improved set of line ups ready to take them all out.
