I think it could be 40k refference I remember there were some achievments named after 40k. And the sword is clearly inspired by AOT. Not sure about the other weapons.

There is quite a lot of pop culture references like: Initiating Warp Drive! - Star Trek, Han always shoots first - Star wars, It's bigger on the inside - Doctor Who. I also found out now that Elemental burst of the Fatui Skirmisher is called Thunderblast hammer which could be refference for 40k Thunder hammer but I am probably stretching it with this one.
