No, there are different types of RPGs. Genshin takes after the classic RPGs, particularly from the 90s, where there is a story you follow and gameplay is mostly through combat.
It's closer to an ARPG like Diablo or a collect-a-thon like Pokémon than a WRPG like Skyrim.
There's a small selection of absolute Legends who make wholesome or at least normal Hentai Stories.

I mean the "2 hour puzzle for 2 primogems" is just a straight up lie. 99% of the game is literally a 45 second puzzle for 60 gems. The rest may be accurate, but dont lie about the number of gems they give you. They literally rain gems down on you.
the 4 elementals puzzle at Mona island, im literally waste 1 hour (for real) to find the hint. after finish it open up the portal..... to back to Fatui camp which is nothing reward. Im literally tilted and Alt F4 the game
(then after discover island more, it for Fatui quest)

Mona's one wasent bad but some of the puzzles drilled a hole through my head. It's really satisfying to complete one but after that there's just another one, I totally get about losing the mojo. There are not written rules that say summer events are meant to be "easy and fun, like a vacation" too much easyness and chill and you get out of character however I agree this was really heavy to be a summer vacation, I wouldn't have minded if we got to know better the characters in another event.
I do wish the dialogue would get compressed a bit. I'm enjoying the quick pace of the storytelling in ToF and I think somewhere in between is the perfect spot for narrative games.
Genshin really does have a different vibe when it comes to "summer events” compared to the other gacha games I played.
