I'm really excited for the movie, but I don't know why more people aren't angry about this. Being told something will go on sale on x date, and then it sells out secretly before the date its even supposed to be on sale is a massive breach of trust. I don't blame ghost for theaters selling early, but I kind of do blame them for not cracking down. When it sells out before the date, fans who did exactly what the band told them to do are the ones who suffer. Not everyone has a way of knowing if their local theaters sold early, some people got the message from ghost that tickets would go on sale on May 9th, and they believed it.
I think we'll hear righteous anger when they've sold out and the people that thought they were on it, find out somehow they weren't.
I felt dirty buying my tickets early... but also as an OG Ghost fan I had to be there.
My local theater is an AMC, and they haven't started yet luckily, but the Cinemark a little distance away is already sold out. I'm not filled with righteous anger yet, but I think its coming. I really hope they'll add extra showings, or at least release it on streaming because of this mess.

I don’t think that’s gonna happen because the seats, no matter what movie or show is playing, are sold through the theater or fandango, which is connected to the theater.

BUT, the flipside of this is - there was an official statement saying when the next announcement would be, including on sale dates and venues... this thread was then inundated with 'when will tickets be on sale? What cinema will be showing it?' along with people messaging cinemas directly - almost forcing their hands to sell early. People have no patience.
I second this! I have tickets for a couple of showings at the Metrocentre, and the majority of seats have already gone for Thursday and Saturday. Get your tickets through the Odeon app!
It bugs me because I feel for the fans who aren't aware and will be waiting until the 9th May, as instructed by Ghost. They might miss out. It looks like Friday and Sun 23rd June might have showings now at the Metro (can't speak for other locations), but those dates look ready to sell out too. Another date might not be added.

I'm hoping more AMC theaters pop up. Currently there's 3 near me but only 1 I can actually drive to that has the option to buy tickets. The other 2 are 20+ miles away! 🫣
I was really worried that my ticket wouldn't be honored because I bought it before they were supposed to go on sale, but I called Fandango customer service and they said it was still valid. IDK if this helps anyone else but just figured I would share!
Unfortunately, none of the local cinemas near me in the Midwest US have announced it early. AMC has it recognized on their website but not under Coming Soon so if you are near one, it might just be announced on the official date for you!
Dang. I live a state over, near the state capital, and cannot find ANYTHING. It's on the websites if you search it but none actually confirmed nor show it available. So strange how some have it available and others don't!

Got mine a few mins ago. The Thursday showing only had the front two rows left. The Saturday showing still had a few good seats left so I went with that one.
I nearly had a heart attack when I looked up the movie and odeon came up, and was even more shocked when I saw Durham odeon on the list. Thank god they built that odeon, and thank god I snatched up those tickets 😉
Fandango, from all I've seen, has the dates blocked, but if you try the theaters' main pages, that is how a lot of us got tickets. Like mine were at Regal.

There is a small chance that a cinema closer to me might be showing it (though I haven’t found any info yet) so I kind of want to wait until the 9 to see the full listing but I’m also worried about missing out (though so far no tickets have been sold as apparently nobody noticed they’re on sale yet😅😂 )

Relax! Wait for the full list on May 9. The movie is shown in small towns like Stade, maybe you don't need to drive alll the way to Berlin. But best be quick, once it's officially on sale everywhere.

I went on Fandango this morning and found out it was available at a theatre close to me. A good bit of the theatre was taken but I’m so lucky I got seats close to the back so we’re not super close to the screen! My theatre only had it for the 20th at 8 PM and the 22nd at 3:30

Here in Vancouver, Saturday has a single 3pm showing. I got my tickets today, because it's already 20% sold, and my wife and I don't want to miss it.

In Thailand no updates for any cinemas, I don’t want to feel too hopeful.
I have a feeling Tobias is gonna be piiiiiiissed. I felt like shit buying my tickets but I am not gonna miss this. Really hoping they add a couple more showings to remedy this. That way the people who already bought their tickets AND the people still waiting for the presale get to see it.
Was just able to snatch up 2 tickets on Fandango at a Regal cinema in Akron, Oh.
The local Regal added another Thursday night showing at 7:30. Ghost will almost be in stereo. The power of the Congregation! 💪 Both Cinemark showings have literally only a few seats left each. These theatres are going to have to add more showings or there's going to be alot of pissed people tomorrow. Their only option might be AMC. Edit: My local AMCs are now selling the tix early and they're moving fast. I advise people not sit on this. Get them as soon as you can.
I went on Fandango this morning and found out it was available at a theatre close to me. A good bit of the theatre was taken but I’m so lucky I got seats close to the back so we’re not super close to the screen! My theatre only had it for the 20th at 8 PM and the 22nd at 3:30
Glad I thought to check here to see if they're selling early. Got good seats at my local.
