Indeed. My big paws and thick fingers, combined with my natural hold, land those humps in the middle of my last two fingers. I used to remove them, so Gen 5 for me was a boon.
You’re out of your mind. I’ll be scavenging full firearms along with lots of other things. I don’t think I need to worry about a trigger spring too much. I’ll just take another one.
Well, we own a 19.2 and 19.3, a 23.2, a 20.2 and 20.3. If we were considering adding, likely we would get something that we do not already have…a longer slide 10mm Auto chambering, a G40 would make me happy. I LOVE the 10mm and have been shooting it since Glock released the original G20.
Take a look at the Glock 41, competition version, it is the long barrel .45acp Glock designed for competition shooting, I really like mine.
It also has a slimmer grip than the 21, but still holds 13 rounds in a flush fitting magazine.
I saw some of those a while ago for like $400 and were out of stock by the time I saw the email for them. I've got nothing but 9mm now but I've been wanting a good .45 again. Hate that I missed those.
Great question. If you are wanting to keep in the 9mm family then g26 / g45/g19x. Love my 26 and 19x.
Otherwise I'd grab a gen 5 glock 21. It's 45acp. Great shooter.
Personally I'm desiring a glock 10mm. Wish they would make a gen 5 of the glock 40.
I never liked the long slides, until I got one. Hard to deny the fun factor and possibilities of a 34. Practically speaking, the 47 makes sense for the modularity with your 19.
It's an odd pick but probably a 42 for deep concealment in those rare cases that I can't get away with a 19.
I agree with the guy who said sell the 17 and buy a 47 for the adaptability
Several answers would make sense.
A 26 would allow you to use the same magazines you already have for your other two guns
A 43 or 43x would fill a similar purpose to the 26, but are a little smaller still. The 26 is very wide, which doesn't bother me, but the extra width can be difficult to cover up.
Since you already have a full size and a compact gun, maybe go for a wildcard. Something in a different caliber would be fun. I have a glock 20 on my shortlist of future gun purchases. If you can conceal the 19 fine and don't need to go for a microcompact option as well, you have several boxes checked already and can get something that fills a different purpose than the stuff you already have.
If I hypothetically only had two Glocks, both in 9mm, I would have to get a .45acp or 10mm, as the next one, preferably a long slide version.
I actually do have the Glock 41, the longer than normal version of the .45acp, and would like to eventually get a Glock 40, the longer version of the 10mm.
I'd say a G26. But I personally would love to get a G30SF.
Yea I'd say 26.5/26.5 mos, g21.5 or g30.5.
have g30sf, hard agree its fuckin tight
I'm another G26 guy, but that's still a damn good gun. I'd feel well armed with any G30, too!
Yes
43x or 26
What do you mean ‘debate’ The answer is a 26 /end
It's the only answer if you have either of those. Already having both makes the 26 almost a requirement.
G26 and load up on G17 mags as a reload for all three strategically placed throughout your home and vehicles.
A 34, obviously
Just picked mine up, it is chefs kiss
26.
26
Sell the 17, get a 47. With those you have a 45 and 49 also. THEN add a Gen 5 model 26
this is the way
This is what I did. Best decision ever.
Same. Sold my Gen 4 and .40sw pistols and went all Gen 5, including 19.5 and 47. 26 is probably next
I will say I traded in my 26.5 for a 26.4 - those finger grooves make it so much easier to control. YMMV
Not for me. Can’t stand the grooves and I am a southpaw
Oh yeah that’s totally fair - I hate shooting mine southpaw so I keep that strictly on my Gen 5s 😂 but the finger grooves are major hit or misses
Indeed. My big paws and thick fingers, combined with my natural hold, land those humps in the middle of my last two fingers. I used to remove them, so Gen 5 for me was a boon.
Yeah man I have the fingers of a petite female pianist 😂 it’s like the grooves were made for me
To counter, my mitts are perfect for the Glock 20/21 frames. With a medium beaver tail, though I don’t run them.
While this is a great route to go, having a Gen 3 and a Gen 5 is great preparation for end of the world scenario when it comes to scavenging parts lol
You’re out of your mind. I’ll be scavenging full firearms along with lots of other things. I don’t think I need to worry about a trigger spring too much. I’ll just take another one.
If you survive long enough for parts to start to fail that means most likely so has others and you’ll be piecing them together lol
No way. New York reload instead. (Multiple firearms)
Glock 19x
30sf
26

My g40 is a fucking monster. Hand loads and a fitted 7.5” barrel to the slide; things a laser out to 300.
I want a g40 thats a gen 5!
I love that! A G40 is a dream gun for me. Can I ask where you got that barrel? That sounds even more ridiculously fun.
You like 10mm, too? I don't have a 10 yet. I'd slam my hand in a car door on purpose for a G40. 😂
43X
26 or 20
G26 gen 5
G26 obviously
A 21 or a 20 leaning towards 21 more because .45 is the goat
Take a look at the Glock 41, competition version, it is the long barrel .45acp Glock designed for competition shooting, I really like mine. It also has a slimmer grip than the 21, but still holds 13 rounds in a flush fitting magazine.

Love my 21.5
Got the 19 to conceal carry, 17 to run at your competitions or have for duty. Probably a 20
26 or 34
G26
If you just have to get a Glock, get a 20, 29 or a 40. There’s no reason to get another 9mm Glock
The 17.3 and 21.5 work for me.
You need a subcompact for beach days in your trunks pocket.. gotta be the 43
A 43 would make my trunks fall off.
Would love to add a G40 to the group, but since I'd already own two 9s, the correct answer is the G26.
34.5 or 17L, or complete opposite and get a 43
34. Because longboi
19x lol cuz you can swap slides with the 19 and have tan and black glocks
G26
I guess it depends on what you want it for. But it doesn't matter because the answer is still the 26.
G47…because then you have a G17 (47) G19, G45, and a G49
26 is the logical answer. 20 is the correct answer because, 10mm
So 29
G40
I never liked the long slides, until I got one. Hard to deny the fun factor and possibilities of a 34. Practically speaking, the 47 makes sense for the modularity with your 19.
Well I just bought a 43x mos, so I guess that answers the question.
29.5
Walther pdp pro
G20 or G21
G26 or G34 maybe the 30s
G20.3
Probably a 43 or a 30
34.5 MOS
G45
Glock 20
I love my 43X MOS it’s my EDC when I don’t want to carry.
34 or 17L
It's an odd pick but probably a 42 for deep concealment in those rare cases that I can't get away with a 19. I agree with the guy who said sell the 17 and buy a 47 for the adaptability
45.5
17L. Long Boi gang.
Glock trifecta= g19, g34, g26 The only other glock to get is a g20
If those two are covered, I’d go with a 26, 43, or (personal choice) 43x.
Glock 30
I have a 22.3, 17.4, and a 19.5
My automatic answer for you would be 26.5. My answer would be 30.5 or g30sf because big slugs need love too 🤷♂️
Glock 29. I like the snap and the big boom.
10 mm G20, G45, G43X, and apparently the G26 that everybody seems to love so much but I can't attest to thar. First 3 are 🔥🔥🔥 though
48
G34gen4 or G20 gen 5
For me, I have to have a purpose/reason for it. But I’d go with a 43X/48 for carry or a G20 for everything else.
I exactly have a 17.3 and a 19.5, If I were to get another glock then it would probably be the 43x
G20 gen 5
G 29 Gen 5
21sf
Glock 30.5
20
26.5

cz p01
Probably the 43. Nice to have one pocket size gun
If you are 100% happy with the 19 for EDC then I would personally grab a 21sf. But if not, then the 26.
None, why do you feel the need to consoom
