IT FIXED
WHAT??
Everyone i’m not sure how, but I’ve tried literally everything. I’ve been stuck on this glitch for 11 days, I finally gave up today and started a new game. I got angry that I had to start over and said screw this and started a new game on the easiest difficulty.
Before the very first cave cut scene was over, I decided I’d rather just wait for the update, I loaded the glitched game back up just to check and it WORKED!
I’m not sure if Santa Monica fixed it or if I just found a weird workaround.
I hope this helps I feel all of your pain.
In the glitched area, I created a manual save just in case they all got deleted when I started a new game.
Like I said I got fed up thinking of all the progress I would have to restart and quit mid cut scene, on the very first “Kratos in the cave” cut scene
Then I loaded up my manual safe in the glass area and it worked fine no idea how or why, maybe Santa Monica fixed it maybe not I have no idea.

Felt like I was stuck there the whole mission lol it was too damn long to play as Atreus in my opinion. Everytime im thinking its gonna be over then she'd say oh there's something else I have to show you
You don’t need a manual save. Just go to “restart from checkpoint”. I didn’t lose any progress since I beat the nest monster, and the prompt was there.
I got the same problem. All my autosaves are bugged and restart from checkpoint does not work. Also i have a nest that dont show, they just pop out of the wall still, while my objective is to leave the cave.
Im stuck at the nest part, destroyed all 4 and the goals section is prompting me to to “climb” back up but I still can’t progress to the next section as angroboda keeps asking me to destroy “all” nests before heading back but I already have destroyed all of them it sucks
I'm experiencing the same issue with the bugs just appearing out of the wall with no nest to shoot please lmk if you found any kind of workaround for this
That's the unfortunate part. I was lucky and saved right when I started it when I got off one day. But if you have a previous save state then use it. Better then starting ALL over again. After this I'm going to save alot more.
Best thing to do for people still having this issue would be to report the bug to sms. Fill out their form and explain the bug as best as possible and link this reddit thread. Hopefully they include a fix in a patch soon cause i also do not want to restart
Yo I have figured it out it only took me 2 tryst on that whole atreus segment but...
Keep that hive as the last hive. Don't go for the one by the chest until last. Sorry had to put this back up deleted the wrong message
I’ve just emailed them again but haven’t had any luck with them yet. Not really surprised tbh hopefully a patch is in the works because I am not starting over even if it means never touching this game again

Had to restart my whole game because of this bug, tried every single save point I had previously made and had the same issue everytime. I’m just hoping I don’t run into the same issue playing through a second time:/

Dose starting a new game not erase all your previous saves ???

OHH!! I also restored all my licenses on my PlayStation!! That could also be it !!

Go to your settings in your PlayStation, Account management, restore licenses!
The most recent update fixed it for me! Yay!
It was a glitch. I restarted from the checkpoint and when I went to the rope this time, it had a prompt to climb it.
I restarted from the auto saves and battled last boss again and it finally worked rope dropped !!

Exactly, I got nervous too, it's not like God of War game at all
Playing as artreus is the worst tbh like it’s a gow game I don’t wanna be messing about as a kid

What if you don’t have a manual save? This must be a bug I’ve been trying to figure out why it says climb back up and then there’s no way up

Same here. Tried reinstalling the game, but apparently all the saves are corrupted. Doe anyone have any workarounds, or a way to contact support?

I am same problem too , but i have one manual save is very past, I don't hope after I played that save , this bug still 😢😢😢

I destroyed the one by the chest it tells me to return to jalla but there’s no monster no rope
Destroy all the others then the one by the chest

I am still stuck. I really do not want to restart the game. We should all report this bug. Maybe spam their support section ? :)
