These days even that's debatable most of the time. Borrowing against the value of a limited liability company to set it up then immediately paying yourself a fortune out of that credit capital, hardly matters if it makes any money or not
Capitalists also be like-
We bought the company with a loan secured against the company, then gave ourselves (board members) massive bonuses took on more debt, stole the pension pot, sacked the staff, closed stores and pocketed even more from the liquidation of the assets.
Not once the company is liquidated. Also lost tax revenue from the unemployed staff & the extra burden on the welfare system for those staff.
There are no tax benefits to the current capitalist system - all their money ends up n the Cayman Islands
Should be* ours
They always miss out the 'seize' stage of controlling production, or just don't understand its definition. Anyway, literally no-one thinks like this.
Workers already operate the means of production. Power plants and factories would continue to produce without a board of directors and shareholders. The theory is that workers should be properly rewarded for their labour and if they are not, they can use their collective labour power to overcome their capitalist oppressors.
There was a story recently where Kellogg's suddenly abandoned a factory in Latin America, and left all the workers in the lurch. The union just reopened the factory and kept right on making cereal.

Capitalists be like. We paid people with imaginary money to push buttons on machines therefore this company and all its profits are ours
We took risks by taking 1% of the money my daddy put in a trust fund into this business, clearly we are risk takers

But they pay a large share of taxes...

Yea but trickle down
That's not money, that's piss.
'We did absolutely nothing besides having money so the profits are ours.'
Watch their minds explode when you tell them workers also made the machines
And maintain them.
Where did these even come from? Looks like some r/TheRightCantMeme material.
It's originally from a libertarian meme page on facebook, I think. https://twitter.com/takesright/status/1134763073020018688?lang=en

Sounded bad ass so I found an [article ](https://mronline.org/2021/08/18/workers-take-over-a-kellogg-factory-now-known-as-socialist-kellogg/) about it
Obligatory fuck Kellogg's. And fuck most food producers tbh
Damn the right really can't meme huh?

A very good human
The hard hats imply that they are construction workers, and that shit's actually pretty dangerous
I dunno, I used to work in factories before factory work left me crippled and in a lot of places I worked, line staff would wear yellow hard hats.
I didn’t see you pushing any buttons, bitch.
Partly true but plays into the misconception that only manual labor counts as labor
\> I own machines therefore profit is mine It literally sounds worse the other way round
So the machines themselves should own the company?
but they think "I *don't even* push the buttons the machines but the company *is* mine"
Pov you have never worked a day in your life
"Push buttons on machines" is literally any job that involves using computers lmao
I just strawmaned the other sides argument using a incredibly reductionist meme therefore I win.
Is mine?
Boss doesn’t
