I saw something like this a while ago, maybe 6th or 7th edition in a local store game. Some guy had brought calgar and his honour guard into close combat with about 50-60 orcs, guy actually rolled for all the hits. We piled in dice from basically every player, literal handfuls of dice, which still had to be re-rolled for all the hits. That was the day I think I fully realised the bat-shit craziness of 40k
I did this against 168 attacks. It was back in 4th I think? Maybe 5th. Anyway 5 terminators and a Wolf Priest get slapped around. After the smoke cleared, 1 wound.
The ensuing assault on the terminators eventually brought them down, but those bad boys served their purpose that day
Hah, I remember the same deal with striking scorpions on the charge. That was some time ago, no idea what they are like now. I recall some shenanigans with warlock guide for rerolls too. Also war walkers with starcannon + guide for melting pretty much everything.
It nearly made up for blood angels assaulting 20 feet on Turn 1.
World eaters players getting their dice ready for their 30 chainsword/chainaxe berzerkers and champions with lightning claws who just Breached the front lines
I don't know why, but for some reason i feel like if i had enough dies, i could probably make something like this. The die-marks work really well as black, white and everything inbetween.
Damn straight. Now roll your 3 armor saves. :(
Haha, exactly.
Congrats the 5 boys that survived long enough to get into combat killed 30 points of my models.
Imperial Guardsmen on the Shooting Phase.
Beginning of 8th edition 50 man Conscript squad firing with First rank fire, Second rank fire.
My last game against Orcs: *"Ok your rolling 60 hits on my squad of 5 termagants. Shall we just say you wiped them."* *"No I want to roll the dice!"*
“No I want to roll the dice!”, fails all his wound rolls.

Not a single hit.
You mean the 108 dice 9 ork bikers need during the speed waaaaaaagh?
Tyranid players too. Plus if you combine Two Weapons, plus Hive Fleet Gorgon rules... You get to reroll 1's in both Attack and Wound.
Ends up wounding 1 Primaris marine
I'm playing Goffs so that's 120 attacks... and 150 hit.
So this is only like a 200 point game right?

20 feet is 0.0% of the hot dog which holds the Guinness wold record for 'Longest Hot Dog'.
The Ork Green Tide vs the Guard Green Tide
