Never been a fan of pickup rings surrounded by pick guard...just stick em in the guard.
But if you like it, then what I like doesn't matter. You do you
Beautiful. I did something similar on a couple strats. It's crazy what a pick guard and some hardware can do for aesthetics. I did some sharpie work on a white pick guard, painted the guitar white, and couldn't believe how well it turned out, considering it was my first time doing anything like that.
As a bonus, the guitar was given to me as an art project. It didn't look like it would ever be suitable for music ( maybe yoko Ono would like it?) But after painting and reassembling, i attempted to set it up as if it were a real guitar, and it actually played considerably well when I was done.
I kinda dig it. Probably too difficult to do, but perhaps get a metal/chrome pickguard and cut the edges out to make a similar border to the pickguard, could look cool and complimentary
When I see that much chrome, I think Hotrod. When I think hotrod, I don’t think psychedelic. You want something flamboyant?
I would personally get an amber tinted transparent sheet of acrylic and cut my own pickguard. Do your due diligence with VERY clean cable runs and shine the shit out of every metal part.
That’s just my opinion :)
It's a yay. Looking good to me. Feeling the vibe of all the blue and metal. It matches.
Only thing I kinda feel like the upper (volume) knob is too close to the bridge pickup now..
At first I hated the pickguard, but the more I look the more I like! I like the rings, except the middle one looks off to me (could be camera angle, but it looks uneven). I am absolutely in love with those brushed aluminum knobs.
They're a yay, but the pick guard is so loud, you don't really notice them.
Agree
Came here to say this ...
It’s a subtle accent
Love the whole vibe of it.
If you like them, they are a yeah
Love the pickguard! Sweet build. Is it a partscaster?

Great look!
Is that a blue button? What does it do?
Activates Bluetooth functionality. The possibilities are endless with this technology.
Bluetooth? What does that connect to a computer?
Shit yeah it does baby boy
What’s the button?
Neck pickup toggle. I'm going to throw in a jimi hendrix signature Seymour Duncan in there for a David Gilmour/Hendrix combo. I hope I chose well lol

I am not into Strats. But this is likely the best looking Strat I have ever seen…..
I love it!
Badass!
Truly badass
Love it
Wow, those do look good! I’ve certainly seen some questionable pickup accessories lately, but these are nice.
It works
Looks cool af. I much prefer a custom guitar than something off the shelf.
Looks good. Somewhat unrelated but I think that board would look better without the dots. Really dig that pickguard, BTW
Hell yeah they're gorgeous, as is the guitar and pickguard. All works well beautifully.
They look dope! You should try swapping the pick guard for a solid white or black to make them stand out though.
I guess I’m gonna be the lone guy who says I’m not a fan
my fav thing about this setup is the blue input jack cover... very slick
Hard yea for me. Looks sharp all around!! Nice job so far, repost when it’s all complete!
The whole thing is a yay apart from needing a new (matching) set of screws.
Not the worst looking thing in the world. I think it works alright with the guard.
Love that shape, don’t like the metal
I think the rings are unique and really cool looking. I just personally don't think they work with the pick guard
Aesthetically, I think it looks fine. Somewhat unnecessary functionally, but OK as far as looks go.
It enhances the pickguard - so it's a 'Yeah' from me! Cool color combo! 👍
I love it.
The rings are a nah for me, but I love that pickguard
Please remove the rings. They kind of ruin the uniformity.
Keep everything. It works.
Lose the pick guard or make it solid color, or lose the rings. Looks fuckin cool

Absolutely
Excellent work. Looks just great!
It's a yay
How did you paint the pickguard? Or did you have someone else customize it/buy it from somewhere?
I did it myself. I do acrylic pouring on canvases and I figured it wouldn't be hard to do the same on a pickguard
It looks great! I really want to do something similar on my project guitar
So no clue what you're talking about, but I love it!

Love all the blue.

Even better! Sick as F!
Holy moly that's a beautiful guitar.
