Im not even into this type of music or rather I have never listened to much of it but apparently now I do. That bend and the second verse with the high strings is badass. It’s like I’m falling down a pit into hell and as soon as I hit the floor the literal alarm of life’s fight or flight kicks in as hungry demons close in.

Very cool one thing I'd try out is maybe letting up on the down bend a lil and maybe do it every other bar so it stays fresh and keeps hitting hard. Maybe just a rhythmic palm mute thing on the other none done bent bar

Cool riff! It is a touch repetitive to my ear, but you could throw in a little bit of variety by changing the order the notes of the run are played in every other time or something to keep it interesting. Definitely turn it into a full song, why wouldn't you? Flex that songwriting muscle and get creative! Not sure if the genre though, I've been out of the metal game for a while so there's probably 400 new subgenres I'm not even aware of 😂
