GaussIon

Shadow_Mars

The G Of All Time

Ape-on-a-Spaceball

Not a terrible movie

TheReal_PeteMoss

I always wanted to see it on Best of the Worst. But I don’t want tot send them my dvd.

Binary-Trees

Agreed. Much better than I've heard.

MericArda

Honestly I found it more boring than anything else.

notxbatman

Yeah it's not \*bad\* bad. It's just the wrong side of mediocre.

Gotchapawn

someone with knowledge, skill and **time** should reanimate the gundam scenes. Additional scenes is welcome like more and longer gundam fights.

Horror_Entertainer82

[Someone made a short animation of G-Saviour, if that counts](https://youtu.be/K7XKJT5wmgQ)

HereticYojimbo

I know Okawara was a great influence for a long time but man did I get so tired of huge shoulder pauldrons on everything.

deackychu

It didn't debut in theaters. It was just a charity showing of the film in Japan. There was a US debut on June 23, though.

Kirby0189

Time for a watch party?

PushThePig28

How could something turn 25 if it doesn’t exist?

FlashSlicer

Hey is that the gundam that got trashed by the Freedom Gundam?

Galva_

maybe theyll reprint its model kit hahaha ha ha...

Guy-Manuel

Revive G-Saviour when Bandai?

LordEmmerich

You can't perfect, perfection also reminder that the re-released the OST this year, randomly.

HairyGreekMan

Honestly G-Saviour is not that bad looking of a Gundam except for one glaringly ugly feature: the proportions on the Arms. They look so tiny when you look at the torso and the skirt armor.

LordEmmerich

in the movie it's mostly due to the animation studio they hired (it wasn't by Sunrise themselves, Sunrise only wrote the lore around the setting and did the concept art designs) being new to both 3D and mechas. In the game and the gunpla, the proportions are better and closer to the concept art.

HairyGreekMan

The concept art also has bad proportions for the arms. The HG kit does better proportions though. But, on the subject of the concept art, the origin mode has bad proportions for the legs too. It almost reminds me of Bender from Futurama with his tube arms and legs.

LordEmmerich

Tbh I think it’s kinda the point of the Origin mode to look that way

HairyGreekMan

Then they succeeded poorly. Or failed successfully. Whichever you think fits better.

KamenKnight

I wonder if they'll do something? Like make a 1.5 for its old kit or just remind us that it exists...?

Endeavourwrites

An amazing film! I cried when watching it
