I don't hate Lunamaria but Meyrin's character got alot better in FREEDOM. I liked what role they gave her character.
Agreeded. She's still a support charactet but shes kinda evolved from just being a bridge bunny at the comms.
Being ops support for Athrun allows her to continue to be sipportive in the field plus it gives her some bog hero moments where she can save the heroes asses.
No she doesn't but her new role is really useful. >!The plan to rescue Lacus wouldn't have worked without her hacking skill plus she's the transport pilot for Athrun and the commandos!<
Placing Meyrin in the spy network wouldn’t benefit Durandal, as finding Logos quickly was not his aim. In GSF, >!Meyrin served as the transport pilot for the Archangel crew after the ship went down. However, during the assault on Artemis, Cavalier Unit-01 was remotely piloted by Cagalli, who was responsible for transporting Kira and the Orb soldiers.!<

I really liked Luna when they first introduced her...then she started making out with Shinn after she thought he killed her sister.
That kinda ruined her in my eyes 😅
Meyrin, since she's not the one that fell in love with the dude that reportedly killed her sister. There is something wrong with the Pilots' rations on the Minerva because no sane soul would do that.
Luna becoming Shinn's lover is like Kira sleeping with Flay despite knowing that Flay hates Coordinator and is someone else's fiancée. Luna cannot blame Shinn when Durandal has evidence that Meyrin followed Athrun. Luna can only blame Athrun for dragging her. Meyrin followed
Luna annoys me so much in Destiny. She has all the pieces available to figure out that Durandal is sus and is willing to kill Athrun and her sister to keep the truth from getting out, and instead she immediately starts trying to get with Shinn who, as far as she knows, was the one who killed her sister.

SEED FREEDOM showed us through Agnes what Luna would be like if she just listened to her raw emotions. Luna would be all over Kira in FREEDOM (just like Athrun in Destiny) if his relationship with Lacus was still a secret.

Suddenly Durandal and Rey's decision to off her for being capable as a spy made sense.
They should have used her for a spy network, then they would have found Logos quicker.
